Wonderful family weekend Mark M. from Venice, FL recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in August, 2015 Our family spends at least one weekend a year at the resort and have never gone away disappointed. The Unit was nice and clean with easy access to the beach, BBQ area and pool along with a beautiful view of the gulf. Even though we live about a half an hour away from the resort, mentally you are hundreds of miles away. The huge Snook I caught off of the beach topped the weekend off. The only issue we had was the Unit was advertised to have twin beds in the guest bedroom and there was only one full size bed in there which doesn't accommodate our family.
Wonderful wedding weekend Johanne W. from Niantic, CT recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in October, 2014 My family stayed at the resort to attend a very close family friend's wedding. There was a problem with the bathtub drain and it was fixed immediately by the maintenance staff. We found it so relaxing that we are considering it for a future vacation!
Supor Bowl Get away. A guest from Punta Gorda, Florida recommends this property.

Loved Palm Island! A guest from Tampa, FL recommends this property.
Stayed for 1 days in November, 2013 We loved it and look forward to going again. I would probably go before November next time so we could use the pool. We were told the pool would be heated, but it wasn't. Take Off bug spray for the noseums. We had a wonderful time!

Outdated A guest from LUTZ, FL recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in May, 2013 The furnishings are outdated, the king size bed in the master bedroom literally sagged toward the middle so bad, I kept rolling to the middle of the bed.As with many places, only some of the staff is actually friendly and helpful. Others make it a point to let you know that whatever requests you have is an inconvenience. For the money charged, Palm Island Resort really needs to RETRAIN their staff, bring in 'secret shoppers to evaluate them, and then get rid of the bad actors - no matter how long they've been there.I've been going to Palm Island for over 20 years and only return because of the isolation of the island itself. The service has always been disappointing!
Great get away! Colleen G. from Webster, NY recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in March, 2013 Came to Palm Island resort for a wedding. Unit was very nice. Pros - beach, restaurant bar within walking distance, great staff, beautiful grounds. Cons - cockroach in second bedroom, master bedroom bed was horrible, ants on kitchen counter, living rug is very worn. Housekeeping took care of ants and cockroach, hopefully owners will invest in a new bed and rug. Just because here were a few minor glitches, We would come back again for a short stay. The staff for the resort are great people to deal with. If you live in Fl. and want a close getaway with that far away island feel, this is the place.
Property 2513 Maria L. from Miami, FL does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 5 days in October, 2012 Beautifully decorated but the refrigerator inner drawers jammed all the time. Also had ant problem for which extermnator came right over to place traps. Did not like being in front of the pool though could slightly see ocean behind it. Would have preferred direct unobstruted ocean view.
Not bad, but need some service training. A guest from Orlando, FL recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in June, 2012 Probably the employee with the best customer service was the guy driving the golf cart taking the luggage to the room. While I was welcomed upon arrival by the front end staff, I felt as though when I asked questions I was inconveniencing them. A little more patience with a first time guest please. The same held true for when I picked up my golf cart. No hello, no how are you...just "last name?"All in all I enjoyed my stay and the villa was perfect for my family's needs. I'll be back but hope the front desk staff has more patience and keeps the smile on their faces.
mold/mildew permeated room Brian M. from SEMINOLE, FL recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in May, 2012 Thankfully, this was not our first visit to Palm Island! We were welcomed with early check-in, and upon arrival to our unit, greeted by Debbie Curtis, the concierge, with a celebratory bottle of wine. Sounds like a great start to a 4 day weekend; however this is where our trip took a turn for the worse. After settling into our room, we noticed a strong mold odor; it was even visible on the decorative plants. We had hoped if we aired the room out, the smell would dissipate. We spent the majority of our stay outdoors in order to avoid our mold ridden accommodations. I wish I would have spoken up sooner; however the inconvenience of moving rooms after unpacking and settling seemed worse than staying in the room at first. As our trip was ending, my husband and I, whom suffer from allergies, were both so congested and miserable we left immediately. Upon returning home, we called to inform the staff about our accommodations and were told, "Sorry, but I wish you would have told us sooner." We were never even offered compensation for our disappointing birthday weekend. I have never been in such a rush to go back home from a vacation!
A great place to disconnect. Sylvia L. from Boynton Beach, FL recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in October, 2011 Wonderful place to do nothing except relax, with all of the comforts of luxury. The golf carts lots of fun.
The best Stay Vacation ever Donna C. from Punta Gorda, Flordia recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in September, 2011 It felt like we were alone on our own beach, it was lovely and quiet. We were so happy this will become a yearly tradition.
Return to Palm Island Paradise Donald H. from Lakeland, FL recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in August, 2011 As with all our previous (almost every summer since 1994)it was a great island adventure. Every year it gets better. Palm Island is our only choice for Florida Beach vacation.
Long-time Palm Island Resort vacationers. A guest from Oregon, WI recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in November, 2010 Very pleased with our stay. A suggestion for your website: we'd like more information regarding the individual units, for example, size of beds in each room and location relative to the pools, beach, etc. The reservation confirmation you e-mailed to me was not a pdf file and was not readable by any software on my new, Windows 7 computer. Please use the pdf format in the future. Maintenance staff was always visible and their attention to detail was appreciated.
Total Paradise! Kenneth C. from New Port Richery, FL recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in November, 2010 We have been coming to Palm Island for over 20 years. We love the resort and unit 2513 was the nicest unit we've ever stayed in. Just wonderful . . .
