Location Nice, Condo Not so Nice A guest from Wyoming, MI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 Sea Place was very nice, however the Condo was very outdated and in need of an update. There were stains in the bed sheets, closet doors off the hinges, broken and dirty patio furniture, patio screen doors that would not open/close. As stated, the Condo really needs to be updated. However, the beach was wonderful. Won't stay here again Julia W. from Lake Town, PA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 17 days in February, 2013 The carpet needed cleaned. We couldn't get the coffee pot to work. Not enough dishes and silverware; we had to run the dishwasher half full so we had clean dishes. The mattresses were so hard it was like sleeping on the flooor. The sleeper sofa needs replaced; very uncomfortable and falling apart. No one at the office could explain how to use the beach access card. A neighbor had to tell us. However, the beach was fantastic. Place had excellent location and property was pretty and clean. The only one problem that we had with this property is that property planned for 6 sleepers and sofa in the main(family room) was broken. Good that we had air mattress and could use it instead of sofa. Fabulous Beach; Condo not so much... Linda T. from Ooltewah, TN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 Communication on front part of rental was great; everything explained well. We arrived after dark only to find that location for key pickup had not a single light on the Rental Office sign, nor on the covered porch where lockboxes were located. Thank goodness for the flashlight app on my iphone! UNIT CONDITION: Unit seemed fresh and clean on initial inspection. After first day, unit smelled of mold or mildew, plausible based on ceiling stains and poor repairs from previous leaks. Furniture was very cheap and uncomfortable. Fabric on sofa and chairs was musty. Carpet on stairs is threadbare and bathroom and kitchen floors have cigarette burns. Queen bed in master was xtra firm with cheap bedding. Only one receptable of electrical outlets in living area and master bedroom worked. Weird. Had to unplug lamps to use electronic devices. DSL didn't work first 2 days and AT&T was useless without account number. It finally started working on 3rd day, but had to be reset several times (power surges?) Nice shower in master bath, but towels were all mismatched and every washcloth we used was stained. KITCHEN: Nice everyday dishes and plenty of silverware. Microwave is a dinosaur and kitchen is lacking basics for cooking. In need of frying pans, cookie sheets, scissors, bowls, zippo lighter and basic spices (who in the world takes their spice cabinet on vacation??) BALCONIES: Nice area, but seating is cheap and not very sturdy or comfortable. Citronella candles were provided, but I had to light them using a napkin set on fire on the stove eye. Overall unit is DATED and in need of sprucing up. Community was nice and landscaping was beautiful. Great beach access and we were given 2 beach access cards (thank you!!) Pool hours (dawn to dusk) are a bit limiting if you have teens. Steve - I would challenge you and/or your team to "be your own customer" to see that your properties meet minimum standards for comfort and necessities. Unpleasant rental experience!!!! A guest from Hinsdale, NY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 28 days in February, 2012 Our rental property, Seaplace 12232 should never been rented in its current AC/heat The furniture and carpeting was filthy and smelled. Kitchen flooring was torn and unglued around edges;dishes dirty. Many things brokien and in ill repair. Could not even slide screen doors that were broken. Rollers on glass doors were broken which would not allow sliding. Balconies & furniture were very dirty.Some complaints were answered, but not timely. No TV channels for one week. My husband and I have stayed at St. Aug. Beach for 7 yrs. and have never stayed in such a place, especially for $2500/28 days with no pets. We would never rent again from Vac. Pros and neither will any of our friends who also come there every winter. We wouldn't think you would ever want to run a business like this and do not know how you could stay in business with such a deplorable reputation! Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 We enjoyed our stay very much, very relaxing time, loved the beach. The condo was a little bit dated and the carpet could be replaced with tile which would make easier to keep clean(downstairs). We were only able to get one access card to the beach and that made it impossible to go to the beach seperately from the family which was a little inconvenient. Overall we had a great time and would return, probably next time would want something same property just beachfront. For a "fully stocked" kitchen, it was very lacking in serving bowls, etc. Had to borrow from friends. Only one pass to the beach access was a pain. Looked for the 2nd key by the phone, but never found it. Nice location, but in need of maintenance and updates A guest from Columbus, Ohio does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2011 Great location and floorplan. Unfortunately this condo is in need of major maintenance and updates. The fold out bed/couch is not usable. The real estate office did provide us with a queen sized air mattress that was of good quality and saved the day for my son. The doors to the patio are in major need of replacement. They are hard to open and the screen doors are not usable. There was paint peeling in the master shower ceiling and the place is in need of a major overhaul. The location is very nice, just a short walk to the beach and the pool is very nice. Good parking also. The real estate office was very accomadating.
