Enjoy a front-row seat on the coast in roomy townhouse at Island House A209! From our balconies you can gaze out at the beach, savoring that hypnotic sound and salty breeze. Make a date with the sunrise and come stay at our comfortable condo!
The living room and each of the bedrooms are treated to private balconies in our spacious, light-and-airy condo. Outside the living room the tiled balcony contains a cheerful white wicker breakfast table, just perfect for whiling away a lazy morning or saying a leisurely goodnight to the day! You'll see plenty of shore birds sailing over the dunes, and every day the sunrise and sunset will put on a magnificent show.
The great view continues inside the living room, where huge sliding glass doors reveal the beach, ocean, and blue sky. Settle into our super-soft couch or oversized easy chairs and feel your cares melt away as you take in the sight! Once the last light is gone from the sky, sit back and enjoy a game or your favorite movie on our large TV with VCR and DVD player. There's plenty of room for the whole family!
The dining area and kitchen are close to the living room, keeping the action centralized. You'll love our long dining table, which seats 6 for meals, games, and family conferences. If you have a moment, pop open the computer and catch up with your social media -- there's free wireless Internet at Island House A209.
A fully stocked kitchen and adjoining pantry/utility area let you decide how much cooking you want to do on this trip. Our spotless appliances, labor-saving devices, cookware, dishes, and utensils set you up with everything you need for preparing a feast or simply microwaving last night's takeout. Pop the groceries in the fridge and cupboards and you're good to go! And when it's time to wash a load of towels or fluff-dry the beachwear, the washer and dryer are ready and waiting.
When it's time to get away from all the entertainment of the main area, you'll find the master bedroom a glorious haven. The bed is king-sized and very comfortable, assuring you of a great night's sleep. It is positioned right along side another large sliding glass door overlooking the ocean, with your own little balcony just waiting for a moonlight meeting or dawn cup of coffee. Close the curtains and sleep in, or leave them open and let the morning sun wake you delightfully!
The master bedroom also has a TV, easy chair, plenty of dresser space, and an en-suite master bath. A ceiling fan keeps the cool air moving, especially if you decide to throw open the sliding glass door and bring in the sound and smell of the waves!
The second bedroom boasts two twin beds and lots of floor space for those Lego construction sites. It too has a private balcony with unbelievable views and a sun-soaked sliding glass door. It's not possible to get the "lesser" bedroom at Island House A209!
In addition to the en-suite master bathroom, there is another full bathroom and a half-bath at Island House A209. The one place you don't want togetherness on your vacation is in the bathroom, so there's enough room for everyone.

Satisfied but.... Brent S. from Actworth, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The property and the condo were neat and clean and in a good location but I wouldn't recommend the property to a friend for the following reasons. 1. Too many steps to climb up and down to get to the beach. We stayed on the second floor so we walked down those steps, then down a few more at the pool area, then up a flight across the pool area and then down another flight to get to the dunes. It's just real inconvenient. 2. Beach access, walking the trail over the dunes was inconvenient as well. 3. The furniture in the condo wasn't comfortable and except for the couch, there really wasn't any place to sit and relax. Overall, we had a good time. I realize all of this has to do with personal preferences and there really isn't much that can be done about it. But for those reasons, I honestly wouldn't recommend it to someone else. The handrail in the stairs was sticky, the fridge door was full of yellow spots as the inside of the cupboards. The master bedroom mattress has to be changed ASAP! Stayed for 3 days in October, 2011 This is a wonderful property to which we hope to return in the future. This was our 3rd rental from Vacation Rental Pros this year. EXcellent rental experience except for the non-refundable damge fee. For return customers with "a clean record" vis a vis care of the property and no previous damage, I urge you to stop charging non-refundable damage deposits. It is an additional, unwarranted charge for reliable customers. If a fee has to be charged, at least make it refundable. We found a number of dishes and pans in the cabinets that were not clean and there were small black beetles in the condo. We resented having to pay in full for the condo months before we used it. We have never paid more than a deposit in over 35 years of staying at St. Augustine Beach. Can't wait to return! A guest from Florence, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 From the moment we walked into the townhouse, we were impressed! I like the layout of the unit. The views were amazing. I loved that you could be in the kitchen cooking and STILL see the ocean! We found it very spacious for our family of four. It had all the amenities of home. There was nothing we lacked. Our only complaint (if you could call it that) was the lack of water pressure in the kitchen. There are a lot of stairs on the property but that didn't bother us. We loved the pool, playing shuffleboard and especially the awesome views from our place! You can drive on this stretch of beach if that matters to you. Our kids thought that was cool. It does however mean that it's a little farther to walk to the ocean. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this unit. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2011 The view/location alone is worth the price of the rental and can overlook a few minor flaws. Beach Access less than 5 minutes. Beautiful beach. Pool was well maintained & large. Decor beachy, comfortable couch (someone slept on but not as a pullout). Easy transit to St. Augustine (9 miles). A/C worked well. Ceiling fans old but adequate. Quiet safe area. However, the unit needs basic updates. Cracks, paint, , rust and carpets. Beds not comfortable unless you like really firm beds. Towels were OLD and dingy and absolutely need to be replaced as well as the bathmats. Small bathrooms. Master bedroom too crowded with king bed, armoire and chair though view is spectacular of beach. 2nd Bedroom is roomy w/twin beds. TV was quirky to figure out how to change from cable to DVD. Overall an above average place to stay and we enjoyed our stay. I would use vacation pros again but more than likely try a different unit. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2011 Location was great (perfect view of the beach and ocean)- however, one warning - there are a LOT of stairs (not only in the condo itself(which I knew about), but more so on the outside property). There was no walkway to the beach over the dunes either. Under normal circumstances, this may not be a problem, but my mother just had a knee replaced and these two things made it especially hard on her. Finally, the carpets in the condo were pretty dirty. Midway through the week, the living room carpet was replaced with a cleaner rug, but the stairway carpeting definitely needed a cleaning! Also, there were some minor maintenance issues in the upstairs master bathroom. Wonderful beach front condo on Crescent Beach, FL A guest from Gainesville, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2010 This was our second stay at this particular unit. It has very nice updates and decorating, is very clean, has a fantastic Atlantic ocean view, and was very quiet during our visit over the New Year holiday. We hope to stay again, but it is a bit expensive, especially after the cleaning fee (now $125 - was $65), new insurance fee (~$40), and taxes are included. But a solid 4 out of five stars rating overall.
