July 4th weekend stay
Reviewed by: Rich A. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2016 We had a blast - checked in after hours, but your directions were perfect, easy to get info from your office and find the condo, the condo was clean and convenient. 2 tiny quibbles - the drapes over the sliding door to the balcony did not work, something wrong with the tracks, and we could not figure out how to use the different TV remotes, some written directions would be helpful.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals Hi Richard-We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us at Columbine 206. We have looked into the drape issue and are working on TV directions for the cable. We appreciate your help ensuring our home is better for the next renter. Looking forward to seeing you again in the mountains!
Jo G. from ENGLEWOOD, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2016 Very comfortable place to stay. Perfect for a weekend getaway and very reasonable. We were able to walk Main Street in just a few minutes and there's a great hiking trail close by that goes up the mountain. Could not believe how clean the place was - that's an A+++. It is a bit dark, but perhaps better light bulbs and more lamps would help. This owner takes great care of this place and the rental management company was great. Would rent again.
Cam M. from Houston, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2016 Great location - about a 10 minute walk to the Quicksilver lift and 10 minutes to the Breckenridge Brewery. Garage parking is always handy when there is snow. Probably would be quite cramped if you tried to squeeze six people in there, but it was great for two people. My only minor complaint is that it would've been nice if there was a modern TV with HDMI inputs.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals Thank you for your feedback Cam. It is definitely a great location! I have asked our team if we can update the TV. Thank you for bringing that to our attention!
Luke J. from Sugar Land, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2016 The unit was a warm, comfortable place to land, with all the supplies we needed. We made use of the humidifier, box fan, pots & pans, dishwasher, fridge, and oven. The gas fireplace was especially nice! The walk to the Quicksilver lift was doable in ski boots, but we limited it to one round trip per day.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals Hi Luke, Thank you for the feedback! We look forward to hosting you in the future!
A guest from Marion, IA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2015 It was clean and fully supplied. The bathroom layout was excellent because the shower room was separate from the sink and toilet. Everything was fine. It was on the second floor and the bedding was tired and the kitchen was outdated.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals Thank you for your feedback Susanne! Columbine 206's bathroom layout is very nice. I have let our maintenance team know about your bedding and kitchen recommendation. Thank you again Susanne.
Corey D. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2015 The place itself is what I expected. Nothing fancy but a place to stay relatively close to the slopes and main street. The rental experience was kind of annoying though. I got in late and had to stop at the rental place first and get the keys then they force you to return the keys at the end of the stay. This was really inconvenient since I didn't have a car.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals Thank you for this feedback Corey. I apologize for the inconvenience of the check-in/out process for you. We clearly state our protocols upon booking so that our guests know what they are getting themselves into prior to coming. If we can do anything for you in the future please let me know. Thank you again Corey.
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 Loved the ability to walk a few blocks to Main street restaurants and bars. Also a short walk to Peak 9 lift. Comfortably slept 4 adults.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals Thank you for this feedback Stephen!
A guest from Highlands Ranch, Colorado recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 Excellent location, nice to be a little bit away from the craziness of Main Street and be back in the trees, but we were able to walk into town in 5 minutes. We had a great stay!
A guest from wheeling, Illinois recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2014 Good location and property, #206 bedroom works best if you really want to put 4 people in 1 bedroom and have no room to move(has 2 queen beds) & almost no drawer space. Would consider a different 1 bedroom unit for 2 people. Great management company, excellent location.
Ashley C. from Dallas, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2013 Super clean cozy little condo very conviently located..walking distance to restaurants on main and practically ski in ski out if you get your ski's from Christy's in the marriot across the street. If i had one complaint, which it's not a big deal, but they only gave us 1 roll of toilet paper to we had to take a roll from a restaurant. But not a big deal, otherwise great experience!
Elaine N. from Stowe, VT recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 Location, location, location. Columbine is not new and a bit outdated, but the location couldn't be better. It's a quick walk to the lift and an easy jaunt to the downtown area. We have stayed in the complex several times and would do so again in a heartbeat.
Christopher M. from Tamba Bay, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2013 This property is very conveniently located to the Quicksilver lift at Breckenridge. It's about 100 yards to the lift and/or ski rental shop right next to the lift, very convenient for skiing. The walk to town is a little long as this location is at the far end of the main town strip, so it's about 5 min of walking to get to the strip and then your at one end, so if what you want to do is at that end, it's not bad. If want you want to do is at the other end of the main downtown area it's a good 15-20 min walk. The condo itself is clean, functional, and comfortable. This a budget property (at the low end of the price range), so don't expect luxury or high end decor. However, if you want a clean comfortable to stay right near the Quicksilver lift with private garage parking for your car you should certainly consider this unit. Also, Summit Mountain Rentals was a pleasure to deal with and made everything easy.
A guest from Overland Park, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 The location was great, it was a quick walk to shops on Main Street and was able to leave our car in the garage.
A guest from Knoxville, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2012 Great apartment, great location. Will rent again. Here are some details that I would improve: The after hours lock box was not easy to open(just have a simpler lock!). Garage door entrance key access is semi-broken (works after a lot of turning). The fan in the bathroom sounds like an airplane taking off. And please have a cork screw available. Thanks.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals Thank you for your comments. They are very helpful in ensuring all is in order for a great stay.
A guest from Omaha, NE recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2012 Columbine 206 was well kept. It is an easy walk to the Quick Silver lift and Maggie's Bar. It is also close to main street.
