Mountain Dream Lodge is a beautiful Log Style vacation home rental sitting atop a mountain with Year Round Mountain Views. Drive up to this cabin for your vacation of relaxation and tranquility.
You will first notice the wrap around decks on the main level, which you will enjoy while rocking or sitting in the chairs outdoors admiring the beautiful Mountain View.
This main level features a Fully Equipped Kitchen with an adjoining 6 person Dining Area.
The living room has plenty of lounging room where you will enjoy the wood burning fireplace, the TV with Satellite service and DVD player and of course the picturesque views from all rooms.
There is a Queen bedroom here with a walk out to the deck and an adjoining Full Bath. Out on the Deck there is even a Gas Grill that has been provided for all of your BBQ'ing needs!
The upstairs has a Loft area with game table and Futon Sleeper. This is where you'll find the Master Queen Suite with fantastic Private Balcony with only 2 rocking chairs just for you and that extra special someone. There is an adjoining Full Bath with Tub and Rocked Shower.
Downstairs on the lower level is where all the fun begins!!! Here you will find a Ping Pong Table and additional living area with a TV, Satellite and a DVD player.
Downstairs there is also a 3rd bedroom here with 2 Twin Beds. Walk outside to sit awhile in the 6-person hot tub or roast some marshmallows by the Fire pit provided for your enjoyment.

I must say finding the office at 8:30 pm was difficult. Putting the address numbers out by the front of the road would help and the driveway to the cabin is very, very steep. Our only complaint was that it was a little far from all of of the trails and scenic destinations. The cabin was tastefully decorated and the rock shower was huge and a nice bonus because there weren't pics of it on the listing. Pool tables are a common amenity but we liked that this one had a ping pong table instead, that was a lot of fun for the kids. And there was a room with twin beds, which we didn't find in most cabins. The kids had a blast roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and the adults loved the hot tub! The flat screen tv was very nice addition for movie night and there was a blu ray player also not listed in the listing so it was a bonus! It's about a 15 min drive to blue ridge which is where everything is, but it's a pretty drive. Check out blue jean pizza in blue ridge, and get the rolls - very good! |

Lots of space and very clean. Fire pit was nice, but suggest you purchase chairs instead of the log stumps and they were falling apart and offer wood for your guests. Movies selection was good too, though hard to figure out cable on remote. We appreciated the owners communicating with us and checking for bugs upon our departure to make sure it was safe for future guests.I would recommend your company to friends and family. |

The decor and the view were both beautiful. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the ping-pong table. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. The porch was really nice, but unfortunately it was too cold for us to be outside to enjoy it. The rock shower was very cool. However, the whirlpool tub must not be maintained correctly. I put my kids in for a bubble bath, and by the end of the bath, the bubbles took on a brownish-orange color, and when I drained in there was a ton of dirt at the bottom! It was really gross - it had come out of the jets. So, we won't be using that again. But, we will probably come back again to this cabin. A very relaxing stay! |

It was really saggy, and my husband I rolled to the middle. Also, the hot water tank seemed to be small? We tried to take a bath one night in the master jacuzzi tub, and the hot water didn't last long enough to fill up the tub! We had a wonderful time, like I said, but improvement in these things would have made it much better! |

We arrived after dark, so getting to the cabin in the dark was quite a challenge: slipping and sliding of our van. This was scarry and called for lots of prayer. GOD is Great and HE kept us safe! Trying to identify our cabin in the dark was an exploration, as we went to 3 others before we identified ours. Overall it was a thrilling Thanksgiving vacation, and we would do it again! And I couldn't believe how well equipped it was with everything you could need! We enjoyed ping pong and puzzles, and the fireplace every night. The décor was perfect and the linens were cozy. The master bath rock shower was a really nice surprise! The cutest cabin I've stayed in thus far. It can be noisy at night, with animals or wind. I'd suggest putting a hook in the cabin wall to anchor/stabilize the swings when it's windy. It's hard to sleep with them banging against the house on a windy night.I would've liked it if there had been better mountain views or was a little more conveniently located, but it was really nice and a great price for the quality! |
