Great Ocean View!
Marilyn G. from Escondido, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2016 This is a great unit and would work for a family of 4. The unit was clean when we arrived but it had a musty smell which disappeared as soon as we opened the windows and did not reappear. The view was wonderful and we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean and awakened by the sound of birds. Amenities included 4 beach towels and chairs, boogie boards and coolers. The wifi was really great to have and worked well. We really enjoyed this unit except the beds, we didn't sleep well and it would be nice if the owner would spring for some more comfortable mattresses. The area was quiet and beautiful. Not luxurious but a great budget property that puts you at the edge of the ocean. Highly recommended!
A guest from Los Osos, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 12 days in May, 2016 This experience was an easy peaceful holiday. The view sold me on the location.. The condo was clean, comfortable, well decorated. The upstairs bedroom is a loft. The downstairs bedroom has an accordion door for visual privacy. The kitchen was complete.
A guest from RIDGEFIELD, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 11 days in December, 2015 The place had most of the most of the conveniences from home but was quite dated circa 1990's with NO doors for the bedrooms! Beds were old and bouncy and amenities felt like an old Motel 6. The view was outstanding but the windows were filthy. Location was awesome. We enjoyed the private little beach associated with this property but will not stay here in this unit.
Property Manager Response: Response from Ahh Aloha Kauai Vacation Rentals The 2br Sealodge condos all have the same basic layout. The master bedroom is downstairs adjacent to the living room, and can be closed off from the living room by means of an accordion door, which provides visual privacy but does not prevent sound from traveling. So for example if someone likes to stay up late watching TV, you will hear it throughout the unit. The second bedroom is an upstairs loft, with a half-height wall overloking the living room. Keeping windows clean in an oceanfront location in the winter is a challenge, we can have them cleaned and they'll be covered in salt spray the next morning. We do have them cleaned regularly because we want guests to be able to enjoy the wonderful view. We apologize that they were dirty for this guest's stay.
A guest from Solana Beach, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 15 days in September, 2015 overall a modest accommodation. The view you see, is accurate, and the description of the furnishings are correct. The one upgrade I would suggest is a larger bed. My husband is over six feet tall, the two of us did not fit on a double bed. That was the only disappointment. That said, our vacation time on the island was perfect.
A guest from Hermiston, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2015 Clean and quite with great views. Having laundry facilities in tbe apartment was great to have. Will stay here again
A guest from San Anselmo, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2015 Great location and nice set up. No place to plug in a music player which would have been nice. The description is that the place cools down with the tropical breeze, but it really didn't for us. The fans were a big help, but ceiling fans would be much better than directing floor fans on us while trying to sleep.
A very nice condo, not fancy but clean and a lovely view
connie m. from Arvada, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in July, 2015 We had a nice time. Everything was easy and convenient. The location was near perfect with a beautiful ocean view. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Only negative was the tiny ants that came in if you left anything at all out on the counter. We also found a large centipede in the bathroom. Keeping the kitchen clean solved the ant problem nicely. We would certainly recommend the condo and Ahh Aloha to anyone. A great location near Hanalei and many activities.
Matthew A. from Eagle, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2015 The unit is a little tired, but perfectly functional and it wasn't misrepresented. The views from the unit are truly remarkable, and visible from both bedrooms and the living room. The hidden Sea Lodge beach is awesome. The ten a.m. checkout was a little burdensome, eleven o'clock would seem more reasonable, but not a huge deal. All in all a great spot.
Marcia F. from Springville, UT recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in May, 2015 Loved this condo and would look to rent it when we come back to Kauai. Nothing better than the views and listening to the ocean while sleeping. Did not attempt the snorkeling down the hill but hit 4 other beaches close enough. Eating out is a challenge as we like to eat mid afternoon.
A guest from colorado springs, colorado recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in April, 2015 I don't think I could say enough about our experience...but I'll try. I can't imagine ever staying in a hotel again now that I know about J9. Almost 1/2 the price of hotel and waaay more room, amenities that you'd otherwise have to pay for & wouldn't buy on vacation(boogie boards, we left sand toys, coolers, umbrellas, binoculars, etc). This is an efficiency style, 2 level condo. There is no door on upstairs room, it's loft style. Downstairs bedroom has accordion style door, did not latch. Lots of room though, 3 beds and the window seat is longer and wider than twin, could absolutely be slept on. The washer/dryer saved us so much time. Last vacation to big island, we figured for a 9 day trip, we went at least 3 times and spend at least 2.5/3 hours each time, waiting!!! The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cleaning supplies available for entire condo. Only salt, pepper for food supplies. Stove burners wonky but worked fine. It was super quiet, no shared walls, no one underneath us the entire time! Didn't see whales from lanai, too late in season, darn!! The front door could be a pain to open, probably the only pain while we were there. Shingles came dislodged one night due to strong winds. Called it in to Ahh Aloha and when the grounds repairman didn't come by by midday, I tracked him down. He had not been contacted but was super nice and had the shingles popped off in about 30 minutes! Didn't have big problem with bugs. We kept super clean and all food in fridge. Beds and pillows were super comfy with extra stuff in closets. Lots of extras to make it feel homey!! The private lanai is to die for. Our plane didn't leave until 10 pm and the cleaning people were super cool and let us leave whenever instead of 10 am checkout!!! Soo cool!! The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. All in all, we had the best vacation we've ever had, J9 was perfect for our needs.
Laura G. from Tucson, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in April, 2015 The rental process was very simple via the property management co., we found the condo very easily and it had all the items we needed to make meals in the kitchen as well as beach equipment like chairs, etc that saved time and $. Overall, this is a nice place in a safe location. Wouldn't call it "luxury" (like a hotel), but we weren't looking for that--it was a nice condo for just the two of us, the price was an excellent value, and we'd go back here in a heartbeat.
A guest from Edmonton, Alberta recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in April, 2015 Our family was only there for 4 nights - certainly wish it could have been longer - it was perfect for our needs.
A guest from Walpole, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 21 days in February, 2015 We found the place in excellent condition when we arrived. It was in a beautiful location on a seaside cliff. We saw whales from the windows. It was nice that the owners left binoculars for guests to use and see them better. We would certainly consider this place or a similar one for a future trip.
John N. from Lincoln, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 Great location...we saw whales from the lanai and the only sounds we heard were from the ocean waves. Lots of books and videos in the apartment to enjoy and we found the path to the secluded beach. Only complaint was that the maids did not provide shampoo or coffee filters. Also the door was difficult to open and close but the management said they would fix it.
James M. from Calgary, Alberta recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in January, 2015 We enjoyed our stay very much. The sound/views of the ocean, seeing whales from the balcony and the great location made for a relaxing stay. Would definitely come back.
A guest from San Francisco, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 12 days in December, 2014 Depending on your needs and desires, this may or may not fit. I would not have more than 2 adults in the unit and it gets tight when you add children even though 2 bed/2 bath; with children you should get a ground floor end unit as there is no soundproofing between floors or units! Other than on bedroom & kitchen windows there are no window coverings; views were nice to the ocean as the pic shows (which is the entirety of the view and which never sees direct sun as this unit faces North. This unit is very quiet due to being on the end which is good. Keyless entry is very convenient. However - they suggest "sunsets on the front porch", but it's really a walkway to the unit; Not sure I would say this condo is updated except for a TV/Blue Ray player; towels are not extra large and soft; equipment such as coffee maker was old and stained; microwave was old but is now new as it was replaced (which took 4 days); dishware was enough as long as you washed what you used immediately; Maintenance took calls but didn't call back and requests not completed timely; Washer stopped working and took 3 days to get serviced; self-help for internet connection issues; No plastic cups, containers or other stuff to take to beach (had small coolers); bathroom sink/tub needed scrubbing upon arrivalWe had 2 Units which combined provided needs for most part since 1 had boogie board and umbrella-other didn't, 1 had goggles-other didn't, 1 had appropriate towels for beach-1 had child towels, 1 had laundry, 1 had decent internet, 1 had no internet for a couple days and then slow at best, 1 had mini dishwasher-1 had regular! BBQ area far from condos as well as small and down a bit and awkward to get to; Pool is arctic cold and not useful as well as very small; grounds were maintained nicelyLocation to grocery was nice and good running trail nearby; easy hike to nice private beach, but don't expect sun due to location.
Sheri H. from Spokane, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in October, 2014 Beautiful view, fantastic location. Condo somewhat outdated, master shower had blue painters tape holding soap dish in place. Carpet felt sticky. Could have been the humidity. Would stay at sealodge again but probably not the same condo. No hiccups with the process thru VRBO. All went smoothly there. Once again fantastic location and view.
Jason K. from Walnut, California recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2014 We stayed at Sealodge J9 from September 10-17. Very reasonable rates for the location. We went there after summer break so the place was quiet. It has commending views from all the rooms. Very pleased with the stay.
Daniel W. from Fullerton, California recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2014 We had a great time staying in Sealodge unit J9. Waking up to the ocean out our bedroom and living room windows got us cranked up to start our days of sight-seeing, snorkeling, and experiencing the aloha of this island. Of all the islands we have visited Kauai is the one we most recommend doing a helicopter tour. Also, do not miss going to Waimea canyon. This unit had beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, even a pair of strong binoculars and umbrellas. The unit was clean and well-maintained. We cooked most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. There is no hesitation from my wife or myself to return and stay in Sealodge. Aloha!
A guest from Durango, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 Great views and privacy. Unit was spotless. Good cross-ventilation and fans kept us cool in July heat. Overall kitchen setup was fine though I would have appreciated a better fry/sauté pan. Really appreciated the little amenities like laundry soap, bug spray and the fishing rod (after buying some tackle in town, we did catch and release some beautiful fish on the reef below the apartment.). While the Sealodge buildings look a bit funky on the outside, the overall design and location is the best in the area.
Chris K. from Lake Forrest, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2014 Very functional and pleasant condo, perfect location. The Sealodge beach was our favorite on the whole island. lots of friendly turtles in the evening, gorgeous, peaceful. Are only complaint was flat pillows, the mattress was fine, Bathrooms and kitchen not fancy but were functional, GREAT PRICE for the area. everything we wanted was close by. Dont forget to take a trip along the Na Pale Coast recommend leaving from North Shore, not Port Allen down South. more scenic and less rough.
A guest from Osgood, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in May, 2014 The condo is in a good location and on a quiet dead end street. It was a good price for the location but is in need of some updates. Had an issue with having no hot water and found that management had been in the condo and turned it off because the tank was leaking, but failed to tell us until the next day. We were then offered another condo to take showers in until it was repaired and it was fixed the next day. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was convenient, but again, they are small, older appliances. This isn't a luxurious condo, but met our requirements as it was close to snorkeling spots and had beautiful scenery.
Melvin R. from Sacramento, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in April, 2014 There were three of us that shared the condo. When we first opened the door we fell in love with the view and the location. We spent nine days in Kauai and Sealodge was a great location for us.It is very close to the beaches and shopping. We had a minor plumbing problem that was handles very swiftly and professionally.I would recommend the condo to anyone that wants a wonderful view and a very nice condo.
Brandy B. from Phoenix, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2014 We loved the condo! The view & condo were so good we spent a lot of time there instead of going out. The touches of the new sponge, soap, cleaning supplies, books, music CDs, binoculars & shampoo were appreciated. Very clean & so quiet we listened to the ocean to fall asleep. Can't say enough about the window seat. Location was great. Wouldn't change a thing!
Betty D. from Couer d'Alene, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2014 We have been to the area years ago & love the quietness & beauty of Hawaii found here. It was raining a great deal & the condo was fully equipped with many good movies & books. Never saw any critters until the last day & the exterminator was coming the next day anyway. Nice amenities, but didn't have need for all that was supplied except the kitchen which had everything needed. Good job!!
Ken R. from Oak Creek, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in March, 2014 The property was very nicely furnished and supplied with many extras in the kitchen. The place was overall very clean but small details like underneath the toaster, underneath the bathroom sink, etc. had not been cleaned in while. Otherwise zero complaints and would not hesitate to rent this unit again.
A guest from Issaquah, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2014 We enjoyed our stay, the kitchen was well appointed, was missing a tea strainer which is minor, good selection of movies and music and books, plus play toys. The bed was extremely hard and we took turns on the couch. Sunglasses were stolen from the car so beware. Great whale watching spot. We nad a hard time getting ahold of management but it worked out in the end. There should ne a better system for guests transfering to an adjacent condo.
Doug O. from Tracy, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2014 Hot water kept going away - when it was working it was scalding hot. View was fantastic
Property Manager Response: Response from Ahh Aloha Kauai Vacation Rentals We're so sorry you had trouble with the hot water. It was a water heater element, and we have had it replaced. Future guests will be able to enjoy the relaxing warm showers you missed :-( Glad you enjoyed the view, it is pretty amazing!
Heike M. from Maria Lankowitz, Styria recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2014 cosy apartment located near to the lovely Hanalei bay with a stunning view of the ocean, apartment in good condition and dlean
Christine C. from Palm Springs, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2013 Great condo in excellent location. Views were lovely. Comfortable condo with pretty much everything we needed.
Jessica M. from Oakley, UT recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in November, 2013 It was a beautiful location, on the most beautiful part of the island. THe secret beach was my favorite. The unit had a beautiful view.
A guest from Westminster, Colorado recommends this property. Stayed for 12 days in September, 2013 We liked the unit. The location was good. There was a problem with the grounds keeper and the pest control person who sprayed the upstairs bathroom sink and all of my stuff, had to throw out my thooth brush only after I had use it and figured out what had happened. We will not return if the same grounds keeper is still there. Other than that Kauai is wonderful.
A guest from Ashaway, RI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2013 My wife and I went here on a last minute anniversary trip. Overall the stay was great. The bed was comfortable, the view was fantastic, and location was very convenient to activities on the North Shore. The kitchen silverware, cookingware, and coolers were not cleaned very well prior to our arrival. The apartment itself was clean, and the beach amenities were great to have. Make sure to put every type of food item in the refrigerator (even cereal), or you may have some mild issues with ants. That being said, we would probably stay here again if given the opportunity.
Elizabeth S. from Hemet, California recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2013 This Condo was clean and had all of the necessary items for the kitchen and beach. The condo has a great view from almost all of the windows of the ocean and there is a great beach near by. Also, these condo's are very quiet and everyone is really respectful with the parking and noise. The only problem with condo was that the internet and TV were not working (which was a problem for the 15 year old but was able to find unsecured wi-fi in area). The porch has a great view and is a nice place to sit at the end of the day to watch the sunsets. Market, restaurants and St Regis near by. The pool is clean and well maintained. Traffic in the area was light. Only did carry on since the condo had the washer and dryer.
Property Manager Response: Response from Ahh Aloha Kauai Vacation Rentals Glad you enjoyed your stay in J9! We are sorry to hear you experienced problems operating the internet and TV. Maintenance has checked them, and the next guest has confirmed that both are working without any issues. It must have been user-error. We'll keep an eye on it to make sure there are no further problems.
Bette C. from NY, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in June, 2013 Great location right near Princeville Center and a few minutes from Hanalei. Condo had everything -- beach chairs and towels, washer and dryer and everything you need for the kitchen. Ahh Aloha was great to book with, and very responsive to issues. Miss the window seat already and wish we had another week.
A guest from Fairport, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 This was a place that fit my price and location. I love the North Shore so it was convenient to the places I wanted to see. There were four of us traveling together and this gave us the space we needed so we each had our privacy. Love it and would stay there again.
A guest from Louisville, MS recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2013 Very cute, comfortable and cozy. Beautiful views. Enjoyed the hotel feeling - providing shampoo, etc. We didn't find a list of rules stating to wash towels, etc. That was nice not to have to wash/dry towels when checkout time is 10:00 am. Didn't want to leave and would certainly come back.
Connie L. from Liberty Lake, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2013 I've stayed in Sea Lodge previously, different building and its always quiet, great views and I have always found it to be a bargain. The beach below the condos is beautiful & great for snorkeling though the trail can be difficult after a rain.
Hannah S. from Tofino, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 Hello, Sea Lodge J9 was wonderfull. My only complaint would be that upon check in we encountered two **** roaches.I understand that bugs are common in Kauai, but I still felt I should mention that they were there. Other than that we had a great time, thank you very much!
A guest from Red Wood Valley, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in November, 2012 Our rental experience on kauai at the Sealodge in Princeville Hi. Took us to all the comforts of home. Every thing was supplied to make our stay relaxing, from the sounds and sights from the oceans views to the spacious space and items that were provided to give us more fun and pleasure. I would recommend your next vacation there.
A guest from Grandview, Washington recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2012 We greatly enjoyed our stay at J-9.What a nice place to relax and enjoy the beginning and end of days on the lanai. The windowseat area was a perfect spot to read and listen to the surf.Lots of natural light and opportunity for breezes anywhere in the unit. Self-checkin and checkout was streamlined which is nice for late or early arrival and departure. The unit was fully furnished for our needs.I loved the washer and dryer in the unit.
A guest from Walnut Creek, California recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in November, 2012 There is a 10 minutes beautiful walk through jungle to the closest SeaLodge beach, but we were there only one time, because 8 days too short time for exploring of a lot of different beaches on the north shore.
jeffrey s. from san francisco, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in October, 2012 we (two) had minor problems with plumbing. the disposal wasn't working on check-in, and on check-out, a toilet was plugged. These were minor inconveniences compared to the unit's cliff-side location, dramatic views and the thunder of storm surf breaking on the Anini reef.
Laura D. from San Jose, Calif recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2012 There were ants in the kitchen when I arrived th cable was constantly going out needed to be reset but after being on hold for one hour and forty five minutes with ocean cable company and went through the stps I knew what to do each time after that it would go off I was told to call the cable company direcct when I contacted the persons number on the paper her name was michele Jeannie was very helpful in scheduling our activities the place is in a beautiful location I don't really like having to use two hands and your body to get in because of the kwardness of the code nd door knob
Stefanie C. from Boucherville, QC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2012 What a spot - it's up north but permits you to visit the EXTRAORDINARY beaches that are everywhere on the north shore to the end of the road close to Napali Coast! The place was really on the water, with not one but TWO full bathrooms which saved us a lot of time on getting ready! It's close to everything since Kauai isn't that big of an island and all beaches are public, therefore you can stop anywhere and everywhere for a swim or a snorkel! Queen's bath is not even 5 minutes away by car.All and all, Princeville is a great spot because I find the north shore to be the best part of the island. And this condo was perfect. Full kitchen, tv, sound system, the lanai is perfect as well. They even have snorkelling gear and coolers and chairs for you to bring to the beach!Simply...WOW. You will be impressed! 3 thumbs up!
A guest from Charlotte, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in June, 2012 This unit was perfect for us. We enjoyed a wonderful ocean breeze with rustling palm trees, sunrise and sunset views from the lawn, and the sound of the waves to lull us to sleep. The unit also included extra amenities - CD player and a CD collection, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, well-equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed to make our vacation perfect!
A guest from La Canter, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2012 J9 was well-equipped, everything listed plus a few more. The view is great but we couldn't getting to the beach requires a long, muddy jungle walk (which is amazing but not something you want to do every time you'd like to hit the beach. The outside of the buildings is so ugly we were actually scared it was going to be a complete disaster but the interior is nice. Feels remote which was good and bad. Aah ALoha was fabulous - Sandy is wonderful and David took our emergency calls with patience and grace. The other agency listed in the Kauai guide book is horrible. Don't go with them or you'll have vacation **** (called by accident to get the location address and was treated scathingly).
Property Manager Response: Response from Ahh Aloha Kauai Vacation Rentals I love the comment about the outside of the Sealodge buildings. They're faced with a weathered cape cod shingle type what you would expect on a tropical island. I personally wouldn't characterize it as ugly, but it is certainly unexpected! Fortunately, as the guest above noted, once you are inside, the condos are charming and the views are amazing. Maybe painting the shingles ocean blue, hibiscus pink, sunset purple, or grass green would give the complex a more Hawaiian start a new Cape Cod/Kauai fusion trend in architecture :-)
A guest from Laguna Woods, California recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 We had a very good time in Princeville. J9 was in an exceptional location with an ocean view and great circulation. It was an older unit, but it was extremely clean and very well stocked with cooking gear. Everything worked nicely with the exception of a couple frying pans that were warped and made cooking a little difficult. The stove elements were also warped a little, so if the warps fit together correctly, cooking was a breeze. We did not need any help from the management staff at all. The grounds were well maintained as were the buildings. Over-all, we had an excellent stay and thank the owners for stocking a great assortment of videos and cd's.
A guest from Canal Winchester, Ohio recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in February, 2012 I would have to say that the Sealodge J9 was a very quiet place to stay on the second floor view. Close to a hidden beach which is a must to see and collect little tiny shells of all colors "very cool walk" "Note" don't walk the trails in the morning if it rain the night earlier. The view of the ocean was perfect view just a few steps away to see the lighthouse. Management gave you everything you need including binoculars next to the TV, I already miss the place. The location made us feel like home. We met Bethany Hamilton. The Real ?Soul Surfer? at a hidden beach, all I have to say is, they are fabulous in every way. Now were staying in the South end of the island Poipu and there it much more activity and much many more people down here, if you want peace this is not the place to stay, but the swimming and land fishing is better. Back to the Sealodge, I will give the management 10 for their effort on comfort and cleanness and cooperation with the tenants. If you see a few minor errors with the place, step back a few feet and they are gone, just over look a few rusty spots on the refrigerator. Thanks Sealodge for the great stayMike and Anne
Orlando G. from Waipahu, HI recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2011 This is worth the money. IT is spacious and feels just like home. I will be telling my friends and family about this resort.
Heather W. from Gilroy, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2011 Wow! We just came back from our Hawaii stay, and we want to go back! What a beautiful place! While the outside wasn't much to look at, don't judge a book by its cover. The inside of J9 completely exceeded expectations! Every detail was thought through... we had comfortable sheets, towels, beach toys & equipment... and my favorite, CHOCOLATES! The kitchen was fully equipped, there were movies and books to enjoy... What a great location! We'd love to come back!
Jorge A. from Glendale, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2011 The unit was great in terms of location and view, though it was samll for 5 adults. The oceanfront location gave us a beautiful view and great breeze. Exterior operation and maintenance is lacking. Outside lights were often out, which makes if hard to get to your unit, since it is very dark. Directions assume to can see signs and landmarks, which is very difficult at night, when we arrived.
A guest from Bakersfield, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in May, 2011 We had a great vacation. The condo was very comfortable and they provided extras like mats, towels, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, ice chests, etc. The only thing I would question is the idea of them calling it a two bedroom condo; it is very open. There are no real doors except for the bathrooms. We had three adults and one baby; anymore would have been crowded. Beautiful location - I would love to go back.
Nicole L. from Cardiff, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2011 Perfect location. I will definitely recommend to friends and would stay here again. It was a pleasure to sit and watch the waves and whales go by daily.
A guest from Toronta, ONT recommends this property. Stayed for 11 days in December, 2010 Clean, simple, well equipped condo unit. Rare waterfront location with fantastic view and sound of crashing waves. Quiet, no fills complex. Small point: sad little pool could not keep our kids attention.
A guest from Bothell, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in October, 2010 Wife and I stayed for 5 nights in October. Incredible location on the North Shore, views were incredible! Only negatives: wish the lanai didn't feel so enclosed (seemed dark), the windows & screens could have been cleaner, and had a difficult time working the door lock mechanism since we arrived so late in the evening (no light). All in all would definitely stay here again!
A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2010 Sealodge is not where the action is. But the ocean views, night sky, and access to quiet beach great for snorkeling made for a great trip. For more action (such as it is on Kauai)Hanalei is a mere 10 minute drive away. Loved being on the north shore. The unit itself was is nice shape, not too fancy, but very clean and comfortable. Loved morning coffee on the lanai and the constant sound of surf and sea breezes. Management were very responsive (even on labor day) but frankly there were few problems for which we had to contact them. Everything ran very smoothly and exactly as advertised. I would certainly stay there again if I were lucky enough to make a return trip.
Rudy P. from Thousand Oaks, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in August, 2010 We called at the last minute to reserve this unit. Ahh Aloha personnel extended themselves to get us into the unit. Early arrival, late check out and every effort to make it an enjoyable experience. If you are going to the North Shore of Kauai, stay in this place. It is a value beyond belief, with ocean views and a secret beach where the snorkeling is out of this world.
