The bright, open floor plan in the living room is spacious and inviting - to watch a movie, or enjoy the sunshine and curl up with a good book. There's plenty of seating in the main room, with pillows provided on the hearth surrounding the kiva wood-burning fireplace. It's enticing warmth can be linked not only to its beautiful fireplace, but also the stained glass windows and colorful designs and patterns throughout. Natural, earthen tones give the house a unique southwestern flair, topped off by folk art, western and New Mexican artifacts.
Flowing from the living room, you'll discover a formal dining area complete with its own fireplace and dining table for 4, facilitating a sideboard and ornate built-ins. The eye-pleasing kitchen in the next room comes well equipped for a simple or a gourmet meal; decorated in blue, white and yellow hues.
The two bedrooms are nicely furnished and sized , both with queen beds. The master bath area is the final internal delight, with its brilliant tile, jacuzzi tub, and gas fireplace. A laundry room is adjacent to this delightful master bath.

very pleasant experience at La Vida Buena Betty F. from Waco, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2012 La Vida Buena was absolutely perfect for us as were traveling with another couple & we all had our privacy, but got to enjoy the fireplace/living room/dining room.I doubt I will ever stay in a hotel again when I come to Santa Fe but will contact Kokopelli instead for help with a casita. |

Stayed for 3 days in September, 2012 This home is truly charming, full of warm colors, delightfully decorated, and wonderfully located. The beds were very comfy with nice linens, the towels were thick and plentiful, and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking just about any sort of meal you could think of. It was great having the courtyard, however, the nights were a little cool so we only sat out there one night. The staff from Kokopelli was absolutely integral to this stay being so wonderful - from first contact, to questions along the way, to making sure everything met our expectations ? this group is professional, attentive and a pleasure to work with. Oh ? and Santa Fe is pretty darned special too! All in all we felt this was a holiday that we will all treasure. |

Very close to the Plaza and all the wonderful shops and restaurants. We loved the decor in the house. It made us feel comfortable and like being at home. Could have used some curtains in the bedrooms and maybe a table outside but otherwise it was perfect. We'd love to come back and stay longer. Also, very private and quiet! |
