K-6 Lodge is a beautiful vacation cabin rental located on Fightingtown Trout Creek. K-6 Lodge features 3 bedroom with Full 3 bathrooms. 6 person hot tub sitting on the lower deck looking out at the Hemlock Woods
K-6 Lodge is a three bedroom pet friendly log cabin for rent in the North Georgia Mountains with free WIFI, lots of space, privacy and activities close by.
The upper level of K-6 Lodge features a queen size bed that has a full bathroom attached to it. There is a bookshelf in the bedroom with abundant reading material for you to enjoy. Walk out into the open loft where you will find a daybed overlooking the main floor below.
The main level features a great room with a wood burning fireplace, TV with Satellite and a DVD/ VCR player. On this level of K-6 Lodge, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and dining room.
Walk into the master bedroom to the comfortable King size bed. What a perfect place to sleep after a soak in the Jacuzzi tub that is in the adjoining full bath that also has a shower.
Walk outside to the covered wrap around decks. You will love the porch swing, rocking chairs, picnic table all on the decks overlooking the beauty of the Hemlock woods.
The lower level features another living room with a TV with satellite service and a DVD. There is also a game room in this living room with a Pool Table. The third bedroom has a full bath and a queen size bed. Again, here is another room stocked with books for those who love to read.
Walk out onto the lower deck to the relaxing 6-person hot tub. From here, you could take a walk down the trail to the beautiful Fightingtown Creek. There you will find a picnic area right next to the creek. During the summer, you can tube down the creek or fish the creek year round.
This rental is Pet-Friendly with a 2 pet limit. If you will bring your pet there will be a $10 fee per Pet per Night and an $20 additional pet cleaning fee.

I asked when i reserved the cabin if that was the issue and they assured me that this cabin was at the bottom of a mountain and we wouldn't have to drive up and down windy roads to get places. Also, when we checked into the cabin there were no trash bags which was incovienent. but over all we enjoyed our stay thank you. |

It is about 20 minutes from the rental office but only a few short miles North. You will need to take 2 single lane dirt roads to get to the cabin so be prepared. The cabin is located at the end of the road and there are no other cabins in view. The back porch has the most beautiful view of the forest. We rented the cabin with 2 other couples. This worked out great since each of the 3 bedrooms and their adjoining baths are on 3 separate levels.A perfect weekend getaway, next time we will stay longer. |

The photos online don't do it justice at all. It was definitely worth the trip. It's a big cabin with plenty of room to relax. Be sure to hike down the hill to the creek or walk the country roads. It's so secluded and peaceful up there you won't want to leave. We're looking forward to a spring/summer trip next year. |

I know it's not a hotel but it would have been nice to have a map of the general area to include hiking trails, fishing holes etc. It was a clean cabin but the beds were hard, need to be updated. There was too much chlorine/chemicals on the hot tub.Check-out time needs to be at least 12N, since the check-in time was at 4PM.Overall, it was a great experience for urbanites like us! |

Stayed for 4 days in November, 2009 There were a few things I was disappointed with. The sleeper sofa in the basement was broken, we had children that had to sleep on the floor because of this. Also the springs in the couches on the main level are completely worn out, when you sit down you sink so far down that you have a hard time getting out. And last, the mattresses were terrible, they need to be updated. If these things are taken care of I would recommend this cabin to others. |
