For a large group, this property cannot be beat. From the estate setting to spacious accommodations, this is a fantastic property to rent when you need to stay in the Centreville, Chestertown, Queenstown area. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 We had a great time. bedrooms were great and third floor living room with wet bar/fridge was a nice get away for those who needed some quiet away time. Property is stunning. Nice walks along waterfront and on backroads. Town was all of 3 or so miles away for groceries etc. Kitchen had everything you need and the dining room table seated 10 very easy. Was nice to have TV in a few guest rooms as well for folks to get away and watch different shows. Great place - hope to rent again. The house has some small quirks such as no electrical outlets in the beautifully updated master bathroom and a missing trundle mattress in the bunk bedroom which only sleeps 4 now. However, we would definitely rent this house again. The rental agency was very professional and responsive. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 My wife and I are always looking for new and wonderful places for us to take our children and grandchildren. There are 13 in our group so we needed a rather large house. Well, we found it with Sycamore Point. We drove from Illinois to Maryland. We looked at the pictures you show on your web site and the thing that caught our grandchildren?s eye was the POOL. Our number 4 grandchild was so excited when we arrived; Matt jumped in the pool in his clothes. Nothing changed after that. We had just a wonderful time. We had some incredible meals on the back porch; we played some games on the grounds; we just LOVED the place. It was clean, it was very well maintained, and we had just the time of our lives. On the day we arrived a man came around and asked us if everything was to our satisfaction. That was impressive, and unexpected. We told him the only thing we were concerned about was with the gas grill. He double checked and then brought us a spare tank if we needed it. We had other visitors during our week stay and one was friendlier than the other. The staff there could not have been more accommodating. From when we were setting up this vacation to the day we left. The Eastern Shore folks could not have been nicer. This was one of the best vacations we have ever taken, and that was largely due to this wonderful home.Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.Andy and Kathy Elbert |

The kitchen was well stocked. Only two complaints, the washing machine did not work which was a downer as we had small children. The other problem was that the shower did not work on the 3rd floor that was inhabited by 7! The management company and the owner were both aware of the problems but had not yet resolved them. |

We enjoyed the pool, the common areas. It was very well equipped with games, books, pots and pans (in past rentals, the kitchen is usually not as well equipped). We only had 2 issues - one bedroom (2nd floor bedroom, not master with bathroom), my mom got bitten a lot - we suspect a bedbug type issue? The other one was the wifi was very weak, so internet connection was frustrating. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay! |

Guests ranged from 4 years to 72, and everyone had a great time. The layout of the house is great. We had room to gather as well as places to escape and nap or read. And the grounds are just amazing. The rental agents were very helpful and provded recommendations for local restaurants etc. We would definately go back. |

Lots of room for everyone,a beautiful setting, a well equiped kitchen and a large dining room for long and enjoyable meals. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2011 I have rented many places over the years, but this was the first time i was dissatisfied with the property. Pool was very dirty, only half the burners worked on the grill and the grill needed to be cleaned before we could use it, plus top floor TV did not work. The sun room could have been cleaned better. My sister had to sweep the front porch on arrival so no one would slip on the wet leaves. I feel a 10% refund would be appropriate considering the condition of the property. We paid for a pool we could not use. |

The rooms were perfectly cleaned and very cosy.The garden was very nice as well as the pool. Our only regret was that there were no lounge chairs around the pool. There was no way to stay around the pool, enjoying the nice weather while watching at the children.This was our only regret, everything else was perfect! |

The location, right on the river gave us the opportunity to swim in the river or pool which we did both. You are not far from town for shopping and there is a crab shack just down the road. The house is set high up and with the large beautiful trees it makes it a pleasure to sit outside. In the den you will find books for everyones liking and board games. We all had a wonderful time. |

Girls Weekend Getaway From Husband and Kids A guest from Easton, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2011 We loved the home's spaciousness. Everyone had their own private space and bedroom. Lots of bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking great meals. The oversized dining room allowed for long dinners over lots of wine and waterview from the interior was lovely. Grounds were very private and we enjoyed sitting dockside during sunset with cocktails. The area is rural so mostly a "be where you are" kind of vacation. Tons of books to read which we loved along with all the places to congregate together or get away on our own. Great convenient location for those travelling from NJ, Philadelphia, DC and Virginia. |
