OK stay for your budget A guest from Fremont, CA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 2 days in March, 2016 Came here for a ski trip with wife and two other families. A total of six people. First one should know they give out only two parking permits. Any additional cars can park at the rec center. In retrospect, it looked fine to park there at the rec center. Not many cars there. But we didn't know. And we were arriving around mid-night. To avoid any complications, the other two families carpooled in a hatchback. The heater was really noisy. My wife and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom. When the heater was on, we felt strong warm air coming into the room and it was dry. The fan in the bathroom next to our room was too loud. Sounded almost like the garbage disposal. Image at night when we have to go to the bathroom. The kitchen was OK. The appliances were working. The dining area was good enough for us.It doesn't have WiFi at this unit. The description was clear. For someone who always had WiFi at vacation rental properties, it was easy to miss it.
Great deal for the price Scott i. from Santa Barbara, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in January, 2016 Had a great time in this condo, it was everything we needed. However, my teenage son did laugh at how old and small the TV's are.
Home away from home A guest from Lodi, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in August, 2015 Location ideal, plenty to do within a 10 min drive or less. Not in walking distance to the beach. Could do with some upgrading of appliances and décor. Kitchen garbage can way to small.Staff communication great!
Very Pleased A guest from Santa Barbara, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 10 days in July, 2015 This condo worked out very well for our small group (3 people). We especially appreciated the proximity to the parking area. Beds were good, living room was comfortable and the kitchen was adequately equipped. The only objection we had was that it was impossible to turn the heater off. Just when the loft cooled down at night the heater kicked in!
Great place! Walter p. from san Francisco, California recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in May, 2015 Had a great time with the family at this place. Spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and memorable. I'd be willing to return and stay there. My only suggestion is to not get there at night when there is no light, because it was very hard to find the condos. It took us nearly an hour and we needed to ask neighbors for help, but they were very friendly. Other than that everything was perfect.
Awsome Vaction A guest from GARDEN GROVE, California recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in March, 2015 It had been great to spend time with my family there, the house was great, have everything we needed.
Thanksgiving weekend Zachary O. from San Jose, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in November, 2014 We were a group of 4 adults and a baby and the unit for us was spacious and comfortable, nicely located a short walk from the lake. If I had to complain it would be the lack of in unit amenities (e.g., no hot tub), older furniture, and the small outdated TV.
Could use a little more love Joshua S. from San Francisco, CA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 3 days in March, 2014 After staying at a number of condos at Carnelian Woods, we booked #45 as the price was right. However, unlike the other properties, this condo didn't appear to be owner-occupied - it was clean and functional but just didn't feel lived in, as if it were just a large hotel room. Kitchen could use an update, particularly the dishwasher. Don't get me wrong, experience was satisfactory, but not as nice as some of the units. We agreed as a group that if we stayed at Carnelian Woods again we would pay attention more to the unit pictures.
Good lake side location A guest from Petaluma, California recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in March, 2014 The unit we rented was nice, nothing spectacular. Very comfortable for 5 on a skiing weekend, but a bit of a drive to the slopes at Boreal. Kitchen amenities were lacking and the manager at the office didn't expect us. Other than that it was pretty much as expected. Reasonable rate. Clean, comfortable condo. Proximity to the lake which is always fabulous. 3.5 stars
