"Paradise Found" is a spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath cabin rental with great views that sleeps up to 8 in the North Georgia Mountains that has been recently updated for the added enjoyment of our guests.
Paradise Found is located on the top of a mountain along a paved road so there are amazing mountain views from all 3 levels. You will be sure to remember your visit to Paradise for years to come.
This is truly an upscale mountain lodge with all the conveniences of home, including a carport. A newly finished family room on the lower level features a 52-inch big screen HDTV, a pool table, Queen Sleeper Sofa and Futon Sleeper and so much more. Every level offers a TV with separate satellite receivers, DVD or VCR.
Enter the main level to a lovely 2 story living area with rock fireplace, TV with DVD/VCR, a dining area and a dynamic large kitchen with real granite counter tops and breakfast bar.
Two stories of windows provide an unbelievable panoramic view. A stereo receiver, tape player and CD player are located here. Be sure to bring your favorite CD's so you can play them in here or on the outside porches and decks.
There is a 2nd master bedroom with a grapevine king size bed and a full bath on this level. A complete laundry room is also located on this level. You can access the screened porch and the hot tub and rock fireplace from either the living area or bedroom.
The upper floor has a large open loft master bedroom with the same beautiful view. Imagine waking up, lying in bed and just looking out over multiple mountain ranges. This is the way to start your day! This bedroom has a TV with a VCR and Satellite service along with a master bath with large shower, double vanity and walk-in closet. A cozy loft sitting area is a great place to relax with your favorite book or just enjoy the spectacular view.
The newly finished lower level of the cabin has a bedroom with log queen size bed and a full bath. The living/game room complete with a 52-inch HDTV, DVD and Satellite receiver. For additional sleeping, there is a futon and for play, there is a regulation pool table, air hockey, games and more. This room also has a fantastic view and walkout patio.
Dine outside on the covered porch with gas grill and enjoy the view from the open front deck or just watch the stars at night, then soak in the luxurious hot tub on the screened porch.

Outdoor fireplace with hot tub are the best features. The cabin itself was CLEAN & had everything you could need. The description says ?secluded? & I even called to verify, however it is not! I would call it semi-secluded, I was happy that the cabins nearby did not have anyone else in them at the time. We would sit outside in the evenings by the fireplace having cocktails, playing the guitar & sing which is why I wanted seclusion; drinking & singing can get very loud. Viewing the pictures, there is 1 window that is dirty which I found odd. Once we were there & it starting pouring rain we found out why, that window has a major leak & has had it for a while now, the wood floor is getting ruined.I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants awesome cabin but not to anyone who wanted seclusion. |

We may visit it again. Here are the negatives. The outdoor fireplace is worn out and too dangerous for putting a fire into. Fire wood provided was very rough any way. I only gave 4 stars because the cabin was a bit dusty. Also there was a significant leak on one of the cathedral windows and we had to set up a catch pan to protect the wood floors.You wont regret staying here, but caution as the drive is very steep and slick in icy weather. |

We wished the fireplace was less hidden and closer to the main entrance. Did not like the screened in porch... Felt closed in. It was nice having the tub close to the fireplace though. The owners should replace the mattress on the main level. It was uncomfortable and we kept rolling into each other because of lack of support. We are medium sized, so I can only imagine anyone bigger than us would have a tougher night. No wi-fi made it tough keeping in touch with family and doing local searches for things to do or places to visit... Had to resort to the iphone and 3G, which is strong there. Nice views and catching the sunrise was beautiful.... |

They say a picture is worth a 1000 words. When I downloaded the pics from this trip there were 343 photos, so I guess that says it all. The management company was extremely helpful and courteous. The cabin was well equipped. We always like to pay something forward so we purchased new hockey pucks and paddles for the air hockey table, as well as darts and a small nerf basketball because the existing pieces were rather worn. Overall this was a great Blue Ridge experience. If I had one recommendation it would be to offer more "pet friendly" cabins. I noticed that the town of Blue Ridge is extremely pet friendly and we love to take our three small pets with us when allowed. Thanks Again to Debbie in the office and The Kaylors for a lovely winter break. |

Stayed for 5 days in June, 2011 As soon as we pulled into the driveway and saw the house, we knew we were going to have a great change of pace from the daily grind. The cabin was beautiful inside and out, with views all the way to Lake Blue Ridge (saw the fireworks from the balcony). Everything was great, from the comfy beds to the air hockey table and the nice hot tub on the screened porch off of the living room. We even had a "vacation dog" that showed up a couple nights after we did & kept us company until the day we left. He stayed in the carport at night & was there when we came back from a long day sightseeing. If we get to go back to Blue Ridge, we'll be sure to stay at Paradise. |

Very poor customer service. The heat did not work in the cabin! Took 2 days for someone to fix. Anthony M. from Kennesaw, GA does not recommend this property. When we went to get the key there was no one in the office at 1 pm on a Thrusday after we were told someone would be there all day. We could not enjoy the priavcy of the cabin with the service tech repairing the heater. I WILL NOT USE KAYLOR AGAIN AND WILL NOT RECOMEND THEM. |

Stayed for 2 days in January, 2011 Our only negative issues were that the air hockey game needed maintenance i.e.(felt missing on hand held pieces and plastic cover is broken where the puck goes to score on both sides). Also, pocket door in main floor bedroom will not open and shut properly.Overall though we enjoyed our stay. In the future the only reason we would not stay here is because the loft bedroom does not have a privacy door and it gets extrememly hot up there. We were not able to use that room at all. |

We called the property manager and they had a crew there within 20 minutes and they cleaned around us as we settled in. The cabin itself was in good shape and as beautiful as the pictures suggests, but it seemed as if the prior renters were less than desirable house guests, including bringing a pet which left some very visible pet hair in the basement level. (this is a non-pet friendly property) Though our first sight of the cabin was not very welcoming, there were some redeeming qualities of the trip that allowed us to overlook our initial reaction. The best part of the trip was the hospitality we received from the owners, the Kaylors, when we were snowed in. We were unable to leave as planned due to the snow storm and they came to personally take us the the grocery store to ensure we had enough food. THEY ARE A REAL CLASS ACT! Because of this, we will definitely visit another one of their properties in the future. You may want to confirm the amenities prior to renting, i.e. WiFi access, which we thought we would have but didn't, and the # of TV's |

Cabin Rental and we have been well pleased with each one. However, Paradise Found is our favorite and we hope to be able to stay there again and again. Great stay, just few maintenance issues A guest from Hixson, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2010 The overall stay was another great experience. My only complaints were the grill needs to be replaced and the hot tub needed to be treated. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay and will be looking forward to making another trip in the future. |
