Vacation Cabin Rental Description:
Rock Away Mountain Getaway is romantic 2-bedroom log cabin for rent that is located on 5+ acres sitting right on bubbling on Hot House Creek a great trout stream in the North Georgia Mountains.
This two bedroom, two-bath cabin has a loft and it will comfortably sleep from 2 to 7 people Hothouse Creek and it has an open two story great room with a beautiful stone gas log fireplace.
The great room has TV with DVD player and Satellite service and a queen size sleeper sofa.
Walk onto the wrap around decks to sit on the screened porch or relax in the 6-person hot tub overlooking Hot House Creek. The deck also has a gas grill for those who will want to make a BBQ.
The fully equipped kitchen has all the necessities of home and lots of room for dining at the 6-person dining table or bar top area for some quick eats.
The main floor features the first King Mater Suite that adjoins to the main level full bath and has a private walk out to a screened porch with rocking chairs.
Upstairs you will find a loft sitting area with a twin sleeper and another full bath as well as a King Master Suite with large walk in closet, TV with a Satellite receiver and DVD player and another private screened in Balcony.
The recreation area in the basement has a pool table and darts. There is plenty of room for walking outside or playing games with the kids inside. The stocked trout creek allows lots of fun for fisherman big and small so come and enjoy!
Rock Away 2 bedroom cabin is a great cabin to rent in the North Georgia Mountains for your family or just the 2 of you on a romantic getaway.

Stayed for 2 days in July, 2011 The location was beautiful and on a creek but we were not able to spend anytime near the creek as it smelled like there was something dead near the creek. It was so bad it was even hard to stay outside to use the hot tub. The management did not respond to the complaint and it was disappointing since we were not able to fish and that is what the purpose of our visit was and why we wanted to be near the creek. We also did not have any water for a period of time as apparently the well pump is on a timer. They fixed that situation pretty quickly but overall it was not what we expected for our get away. |

Stayed for 4 days in April, 2011 The outside of the property left a lot to be desired and I wasn't sure what I was going to find inside. However, the inside was beautiful and clean and cozy. The pilot light on the fireplace was not lit and so we did not use the fireplace. The hot tub was at 77 degrees and so we didn't use the hot tub. The description of the property failed to mention that across the wonderful brook is a large section of power lines which really took away from the ambiance. The surrounding area is beautiful and of course, the people of Georgia are very welcoming and friendly which made the trip worthwhile in inself. |

However, the cabin's exterior needed some attention. The lawn, trees, & shrubs were a bit overgrown and there was a leak in the roof over the balcony. The grill also needs to be replaced. |

Once we walked inside, we were very satisfied. It is nicely furnished and very clean. We had to call to replace an outside light bulb, and had someone out immediately. Also, had to call for assistance on the television dvd set up and was assisted right away. The management company was on top of things! Great service. The home is very comfortable. All in all, we would recommend this property. |

Staff at Kaylor was very easy-going and friendly. Kitchen was very well stocked. There were a few items that need maintenance attention including the upstairs toilet seat, screen door closer, missing smoke detector.There are plenty of trash bags and dishwasher detergent - for other consumables (toilet paper, laundry supplies, toiletries, etc.) plan to supply your own.View is pleasant enough, except for the power substation across the stream, which is not all that intrusive (no bright lights or noise, just ugly). But if you were wanting lots of trees or a mountain view, this is not it. |

However:-Ran out of toilet paper, no spares were found, had to purchase additional from local supermarket. If you are wondering, we did not use any extra, their was just not enough to begin with.-Hot tub needs cleaning. Yellow areas. Probably just old.-2nd Floor toilet seat in bad shape, needs replacement.-Need new pots and frying pans. |
