This sweet little cottage is a perfect getaway for a few people. Most rentals require you to vacation with 30 of your best friends and family in order to obtain a waterfront home - Pandion is catered to the single family or one to two couples. The kayaks provided allow for great meandering along the river. The hot tub can sooth those tired muscles and the billiards room allows for a quick pick up match while dinner is on the grill. Just minutes to St. Michaels so you can bike or drive to town. Grab some history lessons at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and then turn left out the main entrance for a bushel of crabs - waterfront dining at the Crab Claw. Pandion is the perfect destination spot if you want to simply be where you are or explore Marylands Eastern Shore.

Views of the water from inside the house were compromised by the cloudy glass in the sliding glass doors. Unsure about the operation of the hot tub - no instructions were included to explain it's operation. Even though I listed six guests (three couples), there were no sheets for the bottom bed of the trundle bed and extra pillowcases would have been appreciated. But overall, a wonderful stay! |

It was my first trip to the Eastern Shore. Perhaps the best way to sum it up is that we spent half of the weekend plotting on how we could buy a place there. The house and its location were amazing. We had perfect views of two amazing sunrises across beautiful tranquil waters. The house was perfect for the two of us and our dog, but could easily and comfortably have accommodated more. We honestly never wanted to leave. Eastern Shore Rentals was a great company. Always kept me informed about my trip and provided a ton of great information beforehand. There is nothing at all negative to say about this experience. We loved it and are already planning our next trip. |

We enjoyed fishing and crabbing off the dock, kayaking and relaxing in the hot tub. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a great trip. Since I grew up in Philadelphia and because Pandion is located in a more secluded spot than I'm used to, the only thing that would have made the trip more comfortable for me would have been a security alarm system in the house or a couple of those bars that can be put in the tracks of sliding glass doors to prevent them from opening. Would definitely return for another vacation! |

Beautiful setting ---but...... A guest from baltimore, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2012 Pandion is a wonderful, off the beaten path property- directly on the water. The woods surrounding it make it serene and private. We were visiting Easter weekend, so the weather was still chilly. For this reason, we needed to use the gas fp a fair amount. Unfortunately, the gas ran out the night prior to our leaving. So caution! Despite the cool weather, we biked to town ( @ 4 miles) which is lovely, but small. Kayaked on the creek ( a 2 person kayak is included) and enjoyed the hot tub. If you are taking dogs, caution--next door neighbor was firing off shotgun ( couldn't determine if hunting on his property or target practice)--but it was unsettling. Summer and fall are likely the most ideal times for this location. |

We really loved the position and think its location ought to be described better on the ad. The house was very comfortable. We loved the tranquility, the birds, the kayak and the pool table. there was just one thing missing and that was seats or loungers to enjoy the sunshine.However we bought some inflatables and have come away with nice tans as well as being totally relaxed. Pandion Carol R. from Wayne, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2010 the home was beautiful and very clean and open, we were very comfortable. There were 4 adults, 1 five year old child and my dog. The only negative was that the pictures on the web site made it appear that a dock was readily available. When we spoke with the Rental center, they made us feel that we would be able to launch a kayak and fish off the dock, this was not true. If there was a dock, it was not readily available. I called a few times and was always told that they would check and get back about it but that did not happen. There was a kayak on site but the rental staff were not sure what type nor could they find out. This was the only negative, we will come again when a pier is available.
