The roads are ideal for cycleing and walking, the pool is perfect after either excercise; I recommend rubber shoes for feet, surface is uneven on the bottom. would suggest a TV for Master bedroom downstairs, and hangers in hall bedrooms. Trust Anchorage covered pot was delivered,identical to my own which I thought I brought with me. I did not obviously. |

Stayed for 7 days in September, 2011 The house was very comfortable, very nice open floor plan, room to spread out, but yet very accessible.The kitchen has been totally updated with state of the art amenities and is equipped with all of the necessities. Owner left an instruction book which covered any areas of concern. House was clean and well maintained.The location is ideal, close to Easton and St. Michaels. Set away from the road with a very private front yard and back yard.Pool and patio were lovely and also clean and well maintained. |

Stayed for 14 days in August, 2011 We had such a great time at Anchorage that we felt sad to leave, even with a hurricane grinding up the coast! The house fit our needs perfectly...plenty of room and a floor plan that allowed privacy for each family. It was a pleasure to prepare meals in the well-stocked kitchen. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't figure out how to get the jacuzzi to work. would be good for the renters to know more about the trash/recycle pick up. Both cans had trash in them when we arrived. |

Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 All guests from 9 months old to 65 years old had a fun time fishing, sailing, playing in pool, kite flying, etc. The house was just beautiful, immaculate and family friendly at the same time. We spent part of everyday in the oversize pool, my grandson adored the well equipped sandbox for hours and the guys enjoyed fishing in the bay. There was ping pong, badminton, tetherball, golf right on the property and the spacious lawns are great for kite flying and frisbee. Hopefully we will be able to vacation there next year!Our only recommendation would be for more absorbent towels in the bathrooms. We brought our own pool towels which was a good idea |

The increase in amenities was greatly appreciated including the grill, dock, and appointments. The only surprise was that the usual expendables including toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels were not provided. We bought our own and left some for the next users. Anchorage is a terrific property! Linda H. from Yonkers, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in July, 2010 This was our third visit to the Eastern Shore and each time we stay at Anchorage. The owners' attention to detail is to be commended. The home offers almost everything a family would need to make their stay terrific. Our only suggestions are incredibly minor: the older toaster oven needs to be replaced and we would have appreciated having access to premium movie channels on cable during the occasional rainy day. Perhaps enhanced cable service can be offered during peak vacation rental periods? The staff at ESVR are to be commended for their tremendous customer service.
