Minor issues prevent me to giving 5 stars across the board. Was not aware that other houses would be in close proximity. There is a seafood processing building across the lake that at times was a little noisy. The house smelled a little moldy. Again minor issues but issues none the less. Surrounding area (St. Michaels) has great places to eat and visit. I would recommend this property to older people or families with very young children. |

Stayed for 4 days in August, 2011 Just came back from vacation, we stayed for 4days, the place was great, clean and very relaxing. We had a problem with one of the toilet and my husband called the office and couple hours later they sent a plumber to fix the problem. The kids had a great time crabing and jumping in the water and making smores, they wish for stay longer but we defenetly love to stay again next time. |

Over-priced cottage with potential A guest from Chesterfield, VA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2011 Could be a terrific rental with some upkeep. Broken and dirty windows, no safety bars or rubber mats in bathrooms, overgrown bushes, no icemaker, no cable, no wifi, jumbled kitchen cabinets and drawers. Great view, good showers. I have rented from Bar Harbor to Key West sight unseen and this the most over-priced ever. Property Manager Response: Response from Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals LLC Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals inspected these guest concerns imnediately, after being informed at checkout. The satellite television was in working order, but the TV had been put on the wrong setting. The home is also specifically advertised as having no internet access. ESVR is on call 24 hours a day to address guest concerns like these and help get them solved, so please do not wait until after your stay to inform us. There is one cracked window in the home and the repair is scheduled. ESVR does not require homes to have an ice maker or safety bars in the showers, and rubber mats in showers are not suggested because of issues with cleanliness. |

Stayed for 2 days in September, 2010 A number of our people from our group had serious reactions to either dust or mold in the house. When you walked in from outside, it was noticeable to almost everyone. It is a less expensive house, but you get what you pay for. The yard is wonderful and definitely perfect for cozy afternoon naps on the hammock. Morning coffee was delightful out on the pier watching the sun come up over Grace Creek. Overall, I would recommend this location highly. Close enough to town, but far enough away to get really relaxed. |
