Vacation Condo Rental Description:
Relax in this single-level luxury corner unit that is light, bright and airy. The condo has been recently upgraded and remodeled with tile flooring, new paint and carpeting. The four sliding glass doors offer a gorgeous panoramic view of the Ocean, as well as fantastic Ocean breezes. The kitchen area, living room and master bedroom all have access to the spacious wrap-around balcony. The condo can accommodate up to 5 guests and offers high-speed wireless Internet for those who bring laptop computers.
The living room is beautifully appointed with a comfy couch and two easy chairs, ottoman, end and cocktail tables. The entertainment center houses a CD and DVD player, TV and speaker system. Casual dining or cocktails can be enjoyed on the bar counter of the oversize pass-through window from the kitchen. The eat-in kitchen is equipped with a full-size refrigerator w/ice maker, flat top stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster oven, toaster, dishes, glassware and a complete set of cooking paraphernalia. A full size washer and dryer are located in the utility closet that is stocked with all the necessary essentials.
The master bedroom includes a king-size bed, bedside table, dresser, cable television, original artwork and ceiling fan. The sounds of the gentle surf will lull you to sleep at night when the sliding glass door and two operable windows are opened. The master also has 2 walk-in closets, a large bathroom with dual sinks, walk-in shower, tub and private commode.
The second bedroom, located in the front end, allows for privacy between the two bedrooms. It is delightfully decorated in new white wicker furniture with 2 single beds, dresser, nightstand, ceiling fan and ample closet space. There is also a rollaway single bed provided for an additional guest. The second bathroom is located just outside the bedroom door and includes a glassed-in shower/tub combination.
One week minimum stay required by condo HOA Located on the 4th floor of a six story building, this direct oceanfront Mediterranean style condominium is located at the Surf Club Condominiums in Palm Coast, Florida.
Surf Club I is a gated community with first class resort amenities including 2 pools (1 heated), tennis courts,shuffleboard, volleyball, bike/nature trails, clubhouse with library, fishing dock, covered parking and 24 hour security. Ample underground parking. Two elevators. 1 swimming pool (one heated). Quiet beach. Both surf fishing and nearby intercoastal waterway fishing. Numerous nearby golf courses.
Besides lazing next to the pool or on the private beach, Palm Coast offers a plethora of activities in the nearby vicinity. Head north on A1A to St. Augustine, our nation's oldest city with limitless options of sightseeing, shopping, eateries and nightlife. Kayaks, catamarans, wind surfing and fishing expeditions are available at local aquatic shops. There is a new Publix grocery store 3 miles down the road. Anastasia Park, 20 minutes north, takes you back to "Old Florida" and you can catch the ferry at Matanzas Park and visit the historic fort. Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, one mile south, provides opportunities for picnics among its array of tropical flora, as well as, fishing, hiking and biking. Marineland, just 1 mile north, lets you get up close and personal with their resident dolphins.

Very nice condo. Yes I would recommend it. Brenda W. from Juliette, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2013 We arrived after a 5 hour ride in the rain only to find out we did not have a way to get in. I called and we had to ride back to St. Augustine to get a key. We did not receive anything telling us about how to get in.(it might have come after we had made the trip) We thought when we got a code it would be for the door, not the elevator. Then when I checked in on Monday = I asked about the third pool. I was told it was across the street (not where or anything). Also pools verrry cold. Temps turned off in May even though still in upper 50s at night. Could not get to the beach very well for the rocks, but could go up to a sandier place. It was a relaxing experience, but not for swimming or beach walking. Surf Club 1 Unit 2408 A guest from Dansville, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in April, 2013 Beautiful view but sliding glass doors are all cloudy. The rug in master bedroom needs cleaning or replacing, also furniture needs cleaning especially kitchen chairs. The blinds in master bedroom were broken but called and they did send someone out but broke again next day, sent someone again but only lasted 1day. Cleaned patio myself as it was covered in spiders. The unit itself was a little tired and needed some updating. The floors were not washed and the bedroom rug was stained and needs to be replaced or cleaned.The couch was not very comfortable.We had a flat front TV in the living room but the TV in the bedroom was small and old.We enjoyed the Beach Club pool but were disapointed that we were not able to use the heated pool and exercise room in the second condo complex. The beach was very hard to get to from the Surf Club because of the rocks - even dangerous. Quests should know this before renting. The unit was in a great location, only, except for the bed, the furniture was uncomfortable; and the sliding doors were so worn that you could not see well out of them. The carpet badly needs replacing and we found mold in the shower. The deck furniture was terrible. The weather was awesome! Great views and secluded beach Robert S. from Lawrenceville, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 We really enjoyed the area and views offered by Surf Club 1. The condos were not crowded and noisy (as many are)and easy to access. Big win for the complex. The access to pools and beach are excellent. The area is not commercialized and does have Publix only 3 miles away. There are wide sidewalks for walking and biking for just outside complex for those interested.As noted by one other the rocks (Coquina)does require one to cross over to access beach. However, we found several locations that were more like stairs and not an issue. Actually we enjoyed the character the rocks added and used to our advantage.The reason for 3 stars on the general condition is the master bedroom bed. The review says it is a new pillow top mattress. It is not. The mattress is very firm and did leave my wife and I a little stiff in the mornings. I would also suggest the owners change the blinds to darkening blinds in master bedroom to help with the morning sun.Over all we loved the unit and would go back to the same complex when looking for a family vacation. We never did see the property manager only the maintenance guy. It was too bad you had to lock yourself in and out of the pool area. Why are things so locked up? We loved our stay except for the carpets in the bedrooms David or Shirley T. from Belleville, Ontario recommends this property. If the carpets were cleaned it would have been excellent. Palm Coast Unit 2408 As Seen by a First Time Snow Bird Peter K. from Shelton, CT does not recommend this property. Stayed for 28 days in January, 2009 The amenities in the kitchen were lacking. We didn't feel comfortable using the pots and pans and bought our own at Wal-Mart. The blinds were lacking in the kitchen and the others were dirty and didn't work well. The slider in the main room obscurred the view because of broken seals. The screen doors were a nightmare to open and close. Patio furniture could have been more comfortable. The carpeting in the master bedroom was very dirty and stained. The vacuum cleaner only made noise and didn't pick up well. Surprisingly there were no grab bars in the shower and tub. This is not a unit we would return to. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2008 This was a "whim" to get away for a few days knowing only that we wanted to be in the St. Augustine area. We didn't even book until around 9 p.m. 2 days prior to our booking dates. Mr. Milo was great to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to use his agency in the future. Thank you so much, Mr. Milo, for returning my late p.m. call and arranging such wonderful accomodations on such short notice. As for the condo, excellent view, very clean; quiet, great view and convenient to everything. The local resturant recommendations were very much appreciated and we took advantage of some of those. There just isn't anything negative I could say about this experience except it just didn't last long enough! Stayed for 7 days in September, 2008 Was injured by the swivel rocking chair falling over. It fell over twice, once with myself and again with my wife. Her elbow was injured by hitting the tile floor and forearm by hitting the corner of the side table. These chairs should be replaced immediately or some kind of warning given.Dishes and flatware were dirty. Stayed for 8 days in June, 2008 The only complaint we had is that we were supposed to have 2 sets of keys and didn't and also I was told earlier in the week that we could bring a trailer and park it in the garage and once arriving found out differently, other than that the stay was wonderful and would definitely come again.
