Come & spend a wonderful week at the beach in the gated complex of Turtle Cove. Located approximately .7 miles south of the Surf City traffic light, Turtle Cove sits between South Shore Drive and South Topsail Drive. Each property in this community is privately owned and decorated to the taste of the owners.
Painter’s Joy is located in Turtle Cove at 218 Lazy Day Drive and has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with occupancy of 8 or less. With its nautical decorating scheme, you'll definitely feel like you're on an island.
As you enter the front door you will find yourself in a small hall way. To the left is a bedroom tastefully decorated with twin size beds, dresser, bedside table with tv/dvd, another bedside table with a lamp for reading and a closet. You will find an attached full size bath, with bathtub and hand held shower. As you exit the bedroom and continue down the hall you will notice a hallway closet that is equipped with washer and dryer. Beyond the closet is the Master Bedroom decorated with ocean and lighthouse motif. It is furnished with a queen size bed, bedside tables with lamps, dresser with color cable tv/dvd, and closet. The bedroom features a sliding glass door with outside deck for enjoying the cool nightly breezes from the deck. Attached to the Master Bedroom is a bathroom with shower and hand held shower.
Coming back down the hallway you will notice the stairs to the second floor. Take the stairs and you will find yourself in the living room comfortably decorated with a nautical inspired couch, end tables, lamps, and coffee table. For added sleeping, the couch converts to a queen size sleeper. There are two glider rocking chairs for you to relax in while you watch your favorite program on the color cable, television with DVD/VCR or listen to your favorite beach tunes on the radio. The shelves are stocked with books and games for your family’s enjoyment. The living room features another sliding glass door with outside deck for enjoying the nightly ocean breezes. Open to the living room is a dining area with table and six chairs. There are two barstools at the breakfast bar that separates the kitchen from the dining room. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need including stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, double sink, toaster, microwave, blender and telephone with local calling. There is plenty of cabinet space which includes a Lazy Susan. Cook ware and dinner ware are included.
Down the hall from the kitchen is a pantry for plenty of groceries. Across the hall is a full size bathroom with hand held shower.
A third comfortably decorated bedroom is located at the end of the hall. It is furnished with a queen size bed, bedside tables, lamps, dresser and closet.
Painter’s Joy is a stone's throw away from the easy beach access and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. There is an outside shower located in the garage so you can rinse off the sand after a day of playing on the beach. For those days you just want to lounge around and relax without the sand, there is a swimming pool. Each property has a two car maximum. Gate and pool pass are provided by Lewis Realty Associates. No Smoking or Pets allowed. Linens are not provided but can be rented locally.
A small Surf City Public Park is located across South Topsail Drive from Turtle Cove and boasts a basket ball court, jungle gym, and swing just to name a few. Surf City Fishing Pier as well as fine dining and casual restaurants are just a few moments away.

$100 deposit plus travel insurance (optional) due at time of booking. 50% of remaining balance due within 14 days of booking. Final payment due 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellations will not be due a refund unles property can be rerented for the same time period. Any pet friendly properties will be subject to a pet fee between $150-200.
