Lucky Escape is a quaint 2 bedroom, 1 large bath house on stilts sleeps 10. Freshly remodeled in 2013 with wood floors, electric blinds, flat screen TV. Open floor plan from living to dining to kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen and stacked washer/dryer. Outdoors you will find a charcoal pit, picnic table, firepit and an extra lot fun for games not to mention a minute to the beach with no busy streets to cross. Lucky Escape, located at 11213 Beard, Galveston and is the 3rd house from the beach and sleeps 10 with a queen in the master and a queen and pyramid bunk in the 2nd and 2 full size futons in the living area. Sunny Beach is the very first subdivision in West Galveston gives you that beachy feel while close to everything the Island offers- 10 minutes to Sclitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Wal-Mart, movies, golf, and fishing. Nice to have the grill for cooking out and fire pit to keep warm as this spring break started out a little chilly. Only wish is when we go back there will be a new fire pit because the bottom is mostly gone on it and makes it harder to clean up and to keep fire going. |

Some things in the home could use to be updated, but then again you're so close to the beach there's no reason to just hang out at thr house. House was clean,A/C worked great..very important in august...and we never ran out of hot water..for 5 of us. There were two grills and neither appeared to be in working order, but we had not intended to grill while there anyway. |

Seemed pretty clean except there were stains on the sofas BUT we chocked that up to being a "pet friendly" property so it wasn't a huge deal. Easy to and from town and to find.
