Savour a Roman interlude in a 17th century Historic Palazzo originally built by the aristocratic Mattei family 500 years ago, and recently  carefully restored to its Baroque glory. It is in a perfect location  at the end of Via Coronari, a quiet and chic street in the historic center near both the Piazza Navonna and the wonderful Campo di Fiori, Rome's famed Fruit and Vegetable market in the day,and open-air cocktail party by night. You will also find it an easy walk to the Castel St.Angelo, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, Trastevere, St. Peters, the Colisseum and more.  

The apartment is a large studio with high vaulted ceilings, original, beautifully preserved Terracotta floors, and lovely moulded built-in cupboards, evocative of its aristocratic Renaissance heritage. There is a four-poster queen-sized bed, plus a single bed for a third person hidden within the built-in cupboards, a small corner kitchen, a bathroom with shower and bidet, wireless Internet, a Nespresso automatic espresso machine. It is elegantly furnished with antiques and fine fabrics, and luxury linens. It is perfect for a romantic interlude, a cultural city break, or a family visit to Rome for a couple with a child. A second lovely apartment sleeping five is available in the same building for friends travelling together.

A 5o% deposit is required to confirm reservations. Check-in is between 15h00 and 18h00. Sometimes an earlier arrival is possible. If we can accommodate you, we will but for guaranteed early morning arrivals, we suggest that you book the previous day in order to assure availability. Check-out is by 10h00.
