Stayed for 7 days in April, 2012 Some issues with checking in on time, housekeeper was still there cleaning while we moved in. Air conditioning was ONLY a portable unit. Views were good, but this unit was on main road and next to entrance gate. Pool and BBQ were very close, clean and convenient. Rooms were large and 3 bathrooms was nice. Provided beach supplies very limited so bring your own. Location provided easy/quick access to fuel and grocery store. |

Pricey Princeville A guest from Ada, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2012 You'd think that for how much people pay to have a place at the Princeville that you could do as you please but not so. You can't have a grill, hang towels out to dry, can't park in your own driveway, etc. I know it is to keep up appearances from renters but it is definitely a deterrent. Besides the sterile environment it provided us a place to crash, which is all that really matters. I think you can get more for your money elsewhere (like Hanalei)...without all the restrictions. |

Villas on the Prince A guest from Palmdale, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2012 The property was nice and the villa was spacious. The kitchen area was very nice and open and nice view. However, it was located right next to the security gate for this group of villas, so guests in the downstairs bedrooms constantly heard cars coming and going and gates opening/ closing. There were differences in instructions from the owner's contract and the rental company's check-in procedures, i.e. one said to bring an ethernet cable ( we did), but there was wireless in the house. Website showed beach towels, rental company paperwork said no beach towels ( there were beach towels). Downstairs beds were too firm for the 2 couples staying there. Remote control for TV did not work. It would help to have 6 seating for the TV area-- the two couches comfortably sat 5. One dining room chair was broken, so we had to find another chair. This is a nice location and was convenient-- just some concerns. |

Stayed for 1 days in July, 2011 We stayed here in July and although the owner has written that the living room has air conditioning, it is a portable unit and was totally inadequate for heating up the large space. After three hours of running it, we were still sweating. In addition, we saw two LARGE cockroaches when we first arrived. Everything at the place was clean. It looked like a nice place and if it weren't hot there, we would have stayed. We were traveling with young children who were still napping so needed to be at the house during the day. This place would probably be fine if you were out all day and returning home in the evening. Cathy at Ahh Aloha was wonderful and responded to our request to move to a different location the very next day. She did all of this on a Sunday! |
