Vacation Home Rental Description:
This is a split level three bedroom two bath home with a nice size yard. The bottom level contains two bedrooms, one bath, kitchen and living area. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a set of bunk beds, with a full on the bottom and a twin on the top. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to cook your catch of the day.To enter the upstairs you walk up a flight of stairs on the outside of the house. The bedroom upstairs is spacious. It has two queen size beds, a full bath and a small kitchenette. The deck off this level is roomy and it is close enough to the beach to enjoy the gulf breezes. This home is pet friendly and smoking is permitted outside only. This home is within walking distance to all the offshore fishing charter boats. Walk to the marina in the evenings and watch the boats hang their catch! Only a two minute drive to the beach. Pack your things and come enjoy the Harbor House!

The steps are not legal as far as rise and tread is concerned. Someone needs to evaluate safety of rear steps. I may seek legal consul. |

Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 This house seemed like a bargain but next time, we'll choose fewer bedrooms and pay a bit more. If you're looking for a home base for a several folks and don't plan to spend much time in the house, this one is conveniently located within a very short walk to the marina. If, however you plan to spend time in the house, this property might not be for you. The house could have a considerable amount of charm but is badly in need of attention. The downstairs bathroom has no hot water to the sink, the living room furniture is dirty and old and smells slightly of pee. The windows don't open and the lining of the front drapes are shredded. They are also about to come down. We won't stay there again. |

Plenty of room for everyone and we liked the fact that you could walk to the docks and a lot of bars/restaurants. Not convenient if you were looking to spend a lot of time walking back and forth to the beach, but for fishing and hanging out in town, this is the place. |

The house was in good condition, though upon arrival they didn't have the AC turned on. So when we walked in it was muggy inside the home. It did take it a while before it cooled off inside. The TV inside the home was small. You aren't really staying there to watch TV but we did plan to play our Xbox Kinect on it as a family and wasn't able to do so. I did find a nice touch that they provided a game for the kids and some dominoes. The property itself was nice. The location was good. Subway next door and the sand buggy rental across the street. It wasn't far from the beach and it was a quiet location. I would come back again. |

Stayed for 4 days in July, 2011 The house was cute and the downstairs worked fine - the upstairs advertised as room with kitchenette was disappointment - the cable never wored and the refrigerator did not work. Had roaches - we bought roach bait and put out. Not infestation - just a few - you can see crack under doors and those type bugs are common at sea. Also coffee pots were not emptied and cleaned - I cleaned out the mold before using. Despite negatives - the house was fun - just a small bike ride to the beach - beach was great - not at all dirty like I heard. Restarants EXPENSIVE so we ate at home - LOVED the gas oven/stove. A/C froze you out of the rooms! |

The house was comfortable for a group of 7 guys, however we had to bring an inflatable mattress so each of us can give our own bed.The only thing that was not that great was that we came across several insects on the house and the house can use some maintenance (e.g. paint ceiling of bathroom along a few other places).Overall we were pretty happy with our stay at this house. |
