A guest from Flowery Branch, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2016 Very beautiful cabin, spectacular views! Cabin was very comfortable and clean. Close enough to everthing, but far enough away from the bustle of the city. We will definitely be back!
A guest from Galena, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2016 Cabin was very quiet with an awesome view. We loved the hot tub esp after getting sore muscles from hiking. Was 14 miles from downtown Gat but we liked this because we liked the seclusion. We were still able to access downtown and express bypass to the park. Is perfect for people who like to make own food or BBQ on grill. Kitchen very well stocked with dishes and cooking stuff. Our fav spot was front porch with rocking chairs. Place was clean and well maintained. Kids loved game room and 80s style arcade game. Rental agency very easy and convenient to deal with! We were very happy with our vacation.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for your 5-Star review, Ronald! We are happy to hear you and your family enjoyed your stay. It sounds like you chose the perfect cabin! Mountain Memories has the ideal location for easy access to downtown, yet, is far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of nature. We hope you will consider making Elk Springs Resort a part of a new tradition when visiting Gatlinburg. Come back and see us soon!
A guest from Indianapolis, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in May, 2016 We just came back from our 1st trip to the Smoky Mountains. The cabin was the icing on the cake. It was in the perfect location for our family. We were within reasonable driving distance to several points in Smoky Mountain National Park, Downtown Gatlinburg, White Water Rafting, and Dollywood. We enjoyed all the amenities the cabin had to offer- hot tub, pool table, fire pit, and the arcade machine. We have already started planning next year's vacation back to the Smoky Mountains and Mountain Memories.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a wonderful vacation, Jennifer! We love to hear that you and your family enjoyed your visit with us. Please let us know if we can assist you in planning your next trip to our area. A guest from Hawthorn Woods, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2016 The cabin was clean and well maintained. Everything was as promised. We had a great stay. High marks for easy check in and check out. We would recommend improving the pest management. The spider bites our only complaint.

A guest from Hilton head, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2016 Fun timeNot enough hot water for 4 adults taking showers. Not sure why Christmas decorations were still up???? I don't know if it is neglect or purposeful. Also, disappointed we couldn't use fireplace because it was a very cold weekend.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Linda. We are happy to hear that you had a great time during your stay. We would like to apologize for the issues you experienced during the stay as well. Mountain Memories is one of the many cabins that are fully decorated for Christmas. They are operational from October 1st- April 1st. Please do not hesitate to contact us during your stay if you should need assistance. We are always happy to assist you with any need that arises. We hope you will consider staying with us during your next trip to Gatlinburg. Please keep in mind, as a returning guest you will receive 10% off all future stays.
Todd D. from Livonia, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2016 We loved Mountain Memories! The house was very clean and that is very important to us. It is very spacious, and has a really nice kitchen. The gas fire pit was perfect, we sat around it every night and looked at the stars. We had a couple of minor questions/concerns that Elk Springs took care of immediately. Very satisfied!
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals It sounds like you have found your new home away from home while visiting our Great Smoky Mountains! David T. from Lake Mary, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2016 We had a great time being in the Smokey mountains for the first time. The accommodations were great. Will definitely be back.
A guest from Winter Springs, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2016 Initially I called another company about a different cabin, but I could never speak to anyone and they did not call me back. When I first called about Mountain Memories I spoke to a very "happy to help me" lady that I ended up talking to a number of times because I had questions. Their availability, patience and general kindness was a key for me renting the cabin. They were always available when and if I had a question or needed them. The cabin online showed us everything that we wanted - a main level bedroom for my father, a loft area for our child, another room for us, a fireplace, fire pit, swing, pool table, video game, TV in each bedroom, three bathrooms, nice kitchen, porches with beautiful views, and that great open cabin feel! The cabin did not disappoint us. It was beautiful, clean, and a pleasure to stay in. My child hugged the railing before we left. Even the welcome mat was a good sign since it is the one we have at home. We enjoyed being out a little further. It was still easy to get to downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, as well as to the Tuckaleechee Caverns in Townsend. What a beautiful 18 mile drive following the river back to Gatlinburg. There was a really nice big gift shop along that route as well. We also went to the welcome centers and gift shops for the park, wanting to support the part as it is the only one in the United States that you do not need to pay to go in. It is a beautiful park! We tried to do things we could not do at home like ride a coaster down a mountain, play on rocks in a stream, go to the Titanic museum and even took in the Dixie Stampede show. We had a great week and look forward to visiting the beautiful Smoky Mountains again!
Leah B. from Magnolia, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2016 The cabin and surrounding area were amazing. We had all modern conveniences when we wanted them but enough beauty and nature to make us want to keep venturing outdoors. It was perfect!
Michelle K. from Atlanta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2016 My friends and I were going to go skiing for the weekend, however the weather wasn?t great, so we made a last minute decision to go to Gatlinburg. We found the cabin online and quickly booked it. The entire process was very easy and clear, from booking to check-in to check-out. The pictures online don?t do it justice ? the place is perfect! Everything was kept in great condition. Amenities were great ? we especially loved the hot tub and the fire pit (and smores!). Actually we got a lot of use out of the arcade, too! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed to cook. Our only initial concern when we booked was if it would be too far from town ? but it wasn?t a bad drive at all, and we ended up enjoying the distance, since the cabin was nice and quietly tucked away. We ended up hiking the Rainbow Falls while we were in town, and we?d definitely recommend that for a solid hike up in the mountains (about 6 miles RT). Overall we were looking for a relaxing weekend to get away and de-stress, and we definitely found it here. Would highly recommend!!
A guest from Pelzer, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2016 Everything even the booking was amazing. Loved the easy check in and out. The cabin was beautiful and hot tub perfect. We also enjoyed the gas fire pit and gas logs inside. We will definitely be booking another trip to the resort
Jon E. from Mount Clemens, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2015 When we walked in, we were immediately impressed. The available pictures online were not able to adequately portray how nice this home is. A wonderful time, and location.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for your 5-star review. It is our pleasure to offer this luxury cabin for you to enjoy. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and we hope you will consider a return trip here in the future.
Mary H. from Louisville, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2015 We made a last minute decision to take a trip for Christmas with my son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons and found this cabin available. It was the best cabin I have ever stayed in. It was very clean. The bedding smelled freshly laundered. We all thoroughly enjoyed the pool table, arcade games and firepit. It was decorated nicely for the holidays. The layout was very roomy and the kitchen was well-stocked.
Kunal N. from Duluth, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2015 Had a great time at the cabin and was well kept. Was a little stormy when we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we would like to but still had a good time.
Joan M. from Waupaca, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2015 This was our second experience with an Elk Springs property, and I don't know how the experience could have been better! The staff at Elk Springs was warm and helpful each time I called. The whole reservation process was easy and very convenient. I received my door code just before we arrived. The property itself was perfect! Beautiful views, very comfortable and cozy setting. Can't wait to go back!
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Joan, we appreciate you being a repeat guest of ours and thank you for the 5-star review! As always, it is our pleasure to provide you with a positive experience in one of our luxury cabins. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and we hope you will continue to choose one of our cabins to make more Great Smoky Mtn. memories in!
A guest from Chapel Hill, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2015 I went with a few friends for the weekend, and the October views were breathtaking. The fire-pit is gas and allowed us to enjoy the crisp air while at the same time remaining cozy. Pool table, hot tub, and arcade games kept us busy! Wish we could have stayed longer!
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you Lindsay! If your only complaint is that you didn't want to leave, then I guess we are doing a great job here at Elk Springs Resort! It is our pleasure to provide you with that home away from home atmosphere to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We hope you and your friends return again and again!
Reviewed by: Alejandro C. recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2015 this cabin is exactly like the pictures show, very clean ,awesome views from the rooms and the balcony. the whole house is well equipped , kitchen has everrything you need. the location of the cabin is great. there is lots of things to do that are within a 10 mile radius. I personally enjoyed the place called climbworks that is rigth down the street. They have a zipline tour or a mountain bike loop that was a blast.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for the kind review Alejandro! We go the extra mile to keep all of the pictures and descriptions updated so that our guests know exactly what to expect upon arrival. Many of our guests are pleasantly surprised to find the cabin is even better than pictured or described! We are pleased that you enjoyed the location and local attractions during your cabin stay. We look forward to having you as repeat guests.
Shivangi P. from Gallatin, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2015 We stayed at Mountain Memories, which was a cozy, yet spacious cabin. The views were excellent. The cabin had everything we needed. Added bonus was the hot tub, fire pit, porch swings and game room, which made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The distance is a little away (20 minutes drive) from downtown Gatlinburg so that is something to consider. It worked well for us. Highly recommend!
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for sharing your review with us! We are pleased that you found everything to your liking. We agree that the distance from downtown Gatlinburg is something to consider, but if mountain views and being away from all the tourist attractions is what you seek, it is well worth the drive.
A guest from Moorestown, NJ recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2015 We really enjoyed our stay. Hiked every day at the National Park and came home to the house for a hot tub and then sitting by the fire. The house was very clean, well equipped and very private. We couldn't have had a better time
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Rich, it sounds like you made the perfect cabin choice for making memories here in the Great Smoky Mountains! What better way to disconnect from every day life than a nice hike in the National Park, a soak in the hot tub and enjoying each other's company around a fire! We hope you will consider a future stay with us.
A guest from Marietta, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2015 We were very pleased with Mountain Memories! The decor fits the location and atmosphere of the mountains. The hot tub, arcade game, pool table, and fire pit were welcome amenities. The owners have not skimped on any of the furnishings or supplies in the cabin. I will say, however, that the steep narrow road leading to the cabin needs to have more signs pointing the way and I might caution people who may be renting it in the winter months...beware of slick roads!
A guest from Dickson, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 Absolutely loved it. Very at home feeling and relaxing. We never left.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for the review! It seems this cabin is appropriately named and we are happy you made some mountain memories by staying with Elk Springs Resort!
A guest from Florissant, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2015 The Mountain Memories Cabin with Elk Spring Resorts exceeded our expectations!! It was the perfect peaceful getaway from our everyday busy lives. The cabin and the views were absolutely breath taking! And it was also very close to all the entertainment of Gatlinburg. We will definitely be back!
A guest from Fort Wayne, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2015 The cabin was beautiful and very secluded. Just what we wanted. There were plenty of dishes and most anything you would need in the kitchen. The scenery was beautiful. Don't plan to use the fire pit (gas) to cook on because it is not allowed. So no s'mores. I would not want to drive there in the winter in snow- but it was beautiful in nice weather.
A guest from Little Mountain, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 Great Cabin. Hot tub was great. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the arcade game didnt work. Everything else was perfect. I would definitely stay there again
Doug W. from Sandy Springs, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2014 At first site the cabin is great. Every corner is excellently decorated, the view is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the hot tub is great. Some suggestions would be to add lighting about the long counter top in the kitchen, add a disposal and a sink drain plug, and improve the lighting in the downstairs bathroom. Also, perhaps add a note about the outdoor firepit being gas. We hauled up firewood to make sure we had some, and turns out we didn't need it. Also, it being gas, and not able to cook smores was kind of a bummer. Other than that the cabin was perfect. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any we've stayed in, and again the decorating was fantastic.
A guest from Pembroke Pines, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2014 Exceeded expectations, the cabin was very clean with lots of decorations and very kids friendly with the game room and pool table. We recommend as all the reviews were accurate and the stay was extremely enjoyable, the kids loved it and want to go back asap.
Taylor A. from Prairieville, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2014 We were absolutely blown away by the beauty of this property but I think what really sealed it was the beautiful Christmas decorations that adorned the cabin. Thank you for making our holiday vacation that much more enjoyable.
Nancy C. from Mount Juliet, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2014 Outstanding, what a pleasant surprise when we pulled up and saw the outside Christmas decor and when we went inside, all the Christmas trees and decorations! Loved it and so inviting. We enjoyed the outdoor gas firepit so much as well as sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful view and peace and quiet. The bed was so comfy and the gas fireplace was great. The home was very clean and the way it looked online was very accurate. It was a great location to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge as well as to the Smoky Mountains entrance. We had a fantastic time and will be back!
Bobby B. from Minden, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2014 Mountain Memories was a beautiful cabin sitting on top of the mountain. View was breathtaking and cabin was spotless! The only problem was we couldn't stay longer! It even snowed Thanksgiving Day so we sat on deck drinking our coffee enjoying the awesome view of snow-capped mountains!
A guest from Lake City, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2014 We were pleasantly surprised! The cabin was beautifully furnished and cozy. Loved the Christmas trees and decor. Very clean! Gorgeous view! We have stayed at many nice places, Ritz Carlton etc and have recently felt like we were not getting what we paid for, over priced room, service not exceptional. The value is definitely here. Reasonably priced, exceeded our expectations! I appreciated the follow up calls, to make sure we arrived or had questions. Wish we could've stayed longer, So relaxing.
A guest from Greensboro, NC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2014 So, not only was there blatant misinformation in the description of the cabin, but lying by omission/misleading info made the trip very disappointing. First of all, there are not 2 king beds in the cabin, so if you planned to have your two children sleep together in a king, I hope they sleep well in a full/queen. The fire pit will not need wood, as it is a gas fire pit, and please don't plan to roast hotdogs or marshmallows on a propane flame, because that just tastes nasty! Now, I try to teach my kids that lying by omission is still lying. What they don't tell you is that the pool table is a "mini" pool table, you just cannot take it seriously. Also, the video game machine with "120 games" has 40 games and it is located in a bathroom with a space heater that cannot keep up with the level of cold in this basement! So, it is fun for the family if you want to sit in a bathroom to play it with 3 blankets on you so you don't freeze. The view of the mountains was nice and the hot tub was as advertised.
Darrell M. from Huber Heights, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in October, 2014 Pretty much everything a friend of ours said. Great clean spacious cabins. Great customer service. Beautiful area. Even when we got snowed in on check out day, Elk Springs was right there to contact the right people to get us out. Couldn't ask for anything more.
A guest from Deltona, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in September, 2014 We really enjoyed our stay in Mountain Memories. The cabin was clean and had everything you could want. The checking in and out process was easy. We sat by the fire pit one night with friends enjoying the night air. We used the hot tub after dinner one night. It was warm not too hot which was nice. We ate at Crystelle Creek restaurant, Three Jimmy's, and Margaritaville. We would recommend all three places to eat. We love fixing breakfast at the cabin so we make sure the cabin we choose has a nice kitchen. My best friend and I had massages from Smoky Mountain Massage, a gift from our husbands while they played golf. We spent 6 days in Mountain Memories and it was hard to leave.Gorgeous cabin and a lot of mountain memories.
A guest from Webster Groves, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in September, 2014 It was so nice to come back to the cozy cabin after a busy day of hiking or golf. The view was amazing and worth the drive outside of town!
A guest from Chicago, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 My family lived in the cabin for 3 nights. It's clean, quiet, and safe. The mountain view is amazing. It's so comfortable stay in the cabin. We liked it.
A guest from Lewisburg, OH - Ohio recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2014 Cabin was great. Had wonderful weather. Kids enjoyed the pool table. We were looking forward to the fire pit and brought wood, only to find out it was gas. This would have been good to know in advance. Still had a wonderful time.Saw some racoons climbing in the trees.
Paul J. from Charleston, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2014 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Memories. The cabin is beautiful and you truly feel at home upon waling in the door. The rental company was a pleasure to deal with. The cabin was clean and fresh. Hope to return again for next "get away " or vacation.
Craig J. from Waterville, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2014 The cabin was exactly as advertised, and maybe even better. The view off the back decks is fantastic and sitting in the hot tub after a long day looking at the mountains is priceless. The cabin was very clean and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils, dishes, pots and pans. I really liked the Weber grill with the natural gas piped in. The gas firepit outside was awesome, although we could only use it one night due to the rain! All in all we had a great stay and would certainly stay here again. Thanks for the memories!
Jason M. from Billings, Missouri recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2014 The pictures depicted the cabin exactly. The views from the cabin were spectacular and watching the storms move through was amazing. We went trail riding and saw a baby black bear, which was exactly what our son was hoping for. Will definitely be back to visit this area again.
Cecil H. from Columbus, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2014 Are vacation was great thanks to the mountain memory's cabin we loved it!The cabin was beautiful it by far the best cabin we have stayed in . U guys thought of ever thing it felt like home.thanks u Cecil hamilton
Lamar H. from Smyrna, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2014 We recently stayed at Mountain Memories and I have to say it was a wonderful cabin. The location is perfect for hiking and site seeing. Although the property is secluded, you are still a few minutes away from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We will certainly considering staying at Mountain Memories again in the future.
A guest from Madison, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2014 Great vacation spot with all the amenities plus. Everything was provided to make our stay an enjoyable one. The noise (creaking, bumping, knocking)at night was a little unsettling, but we were able to ignore it. All-in-all, it was one of our best visits to the Smokies.
A guest from Hagerstown, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2014 This was our 25th Wedding Anniversary trip. The cabin was beautiful and in such a peaceful location. It exceeded our expectations and we will be back again!
Michael L. from Warrington, Cheshire recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2014 We stayed 6 nights in late March as part of a 19 day road trip. We were really looking forwards to the stay in the cabin in the Smoky Mountains and it was as wonderfully fantastic as we had hoped. The cabin was clean, spacious and well equipped. The location and views were amazing - especially sat in the hot-tub on the porch or in the rocking chair having a cold beer and watching the sun set.We are seriously considering returning there again or with extended family to a bigger cabin. The only minor negative comment, the hot tub went cold one day and we returned from a long hard day sight-seeing :-) desperate to get in the hot-tub and relax (one of the main reasons we booked a cabin with a hot-tub) and it was cold. Despite calling the management team and various electrical breaker resets etc. it remained cold and a hot-tub engineer had to be called. Not too bad really - but a whole evening and day without it frustrated us a little. We would highly recommend this cabin and location to anyone and everyone and can't wait to return, but we LOVE the USA and visit once or usually twice a year and there are just so many other places to see.
A guest from Stillman Valley, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 Beautiful cabin great for two couples or a family. Elk Springs was great to work with, making everything very clear and easy through emails. I would strongly reccommend driving to the cabin for the first time in daylight hours. We got caught in the dark and had some trouble finding the cabin. The directions are clear, however finding your way around in the dark up in the mountains is a whole different story.
April H. from Ringold, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 Cabin was beautiful.. Only negative thing was all the spiders everywhere.. Could have made sure the webs were knocked down on the deck.. And master bedroom had a web as you come thru the door that I walked right thru.. It would also had been nice to have some firestarter for the firepit.. But all in all we had a great time
Gregory H. from Seville, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2013 Very nice property,Awesome view,Comfortable furnishings,Kitchen well equipped,Good stock of towels and linens, all the ingredients are there for a comfortable stay. You will feel at home on day one. This cabin is located at the top of a cabin community, although there are other cabins within several hundred feet, you can't see them. The road to this cabin is steep and winding, but gave us no trouble. It wouldn't be good for motorcycles. The cabin is 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, beyond the Arts and Crafts district. 10 minutes to Grocery store,5 minutes to convenience store. We had a few negatives (very minor)we had no firewood for the out door fire pit, and the bear-proof garbage receptacle was mostly full upon arrival, leaving little room for our use. In each case we called and left a message and within hours it was taken care of. There are no exhaust fans in the cabin. Again very minor, but the bathrooms are going to be steamy after a shower. Over all an awesome value, beautiful, comfortable, well equipped, secluded and the check in and out are simple. We will be back to the Smokey Mountains and we will stay with Elk Springs!
James Y. from Cedarburg, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2013 Kids loved the video game and "man cave." Mom loved the amenities and how clean the property was. We all loved the deck, views, hot tub and fire place. We would all recommend Elk Spring cabins.
A guest from Tampa, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2013 ...cool weather, a beautiful view and days of family relaxation. This lovely cabin was a joy to come home to after hiking through our beloved Smokies. Great property management, easy check-in/out and a quirky, fun, spectacularly clean place to stay that's off the beaten track. Most importantly, we have an unfinished billiards tournament still on the boards - to be continued at our next visit!
A guest from Amarillo, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2013 I can't say enough about the beauty of the cabin and the view. We decided to hike in the smokies every day, the hot tub at the end of the day with the gorgeous view was amazing! I am very very picky about cleanliness, the hot tub and cabin was immaculate. We stayed for a full week, and it wasn't near long enough, was so sad to leave. We will be back for sure! If you want a gorgeous cabin and view, this is the one for you.
A guest from Lima, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2013 The property is very well maintained. It was clean. The directions provided were easy to follow and the physical address was found in both our vehicle?s onboard GPS and our phones? GPS. The cabin is 7 miles toward Cosby from the Greenbrier entrance to GSMNP. The Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware, and small appliances. The cookware is showing its age. All of the nonstick pans were loosing their coating. The gas grill is plumbed to the cabin?s gas supply. There was plenty of grilling utensils. The 3 baths were lightly stocked with TP, half rolls on the holders and no additional rolls. The amount of bath towels and wash cloths would have been fine for fewer guests or a shorter stay. We had 4 adults and one child and stayed for 7 days, it was expected we would have to launder towels. Everyone found the beds comfortable and there was plenty of extra bedding and pillows. The basement game room was a nice activity for a rainy day. The miniature pool table was great; my 7 year old son received his first billiards lesson from his grandfather. The retro video game machine has all the hits from the 1980?s. We did not use the hot tub. The view from the back porch was excellent and had plenty of seating. The lower back porch has a nice porch swing. The fire pit was well stocked with kindling and firewood. This was our fourth stay in a Gatlinburg area cabin; we have also rented multiple times in both Canaan Valley, WV and Hocking Hills, OH. This cabin was the best maintained and has the best views of any we have rented anywhere. If you want to day hike the Greenbrier and Cosby trails of the GSMNP this is the place to stay. You are close to both and still close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We had no issues, so contact with the management company was not needed.
A guest from Indianapolis, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2013 Looked just like the pictures, which is rare. Everything was in great condition. Stayed with my wife and another couple, everyone adored it.
A guest from Louisville, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2013 We enjoyed our visit there, and i highly recommend it. One issue was that there was so much bees at the balcony, and i think they were even inside the wood.
Lisa B. from Edgewood, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2013 We had a fantastic time at the property. Our only complaint was that it was farther outside the central Gatlinburg area than I expected. We have a 3 year old and the long car rides back and forth to town were a bit taxing on all of us. But, it was extremely peaceful and the view was amazing.
Laura B. from Haubstavt, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2013 We recently spent a week at Mountain Memories. It is a beautiful cabin with an awesome view! The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking our breakfast every morning. The beds were comfortable & the kids loved the arcade game in the basement. Our only complaint was how far out the cabin is located. It takes 20-30 minutes to get to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or the National Park. If we could have picked the cabin up & moved it 15 minutes closer to town, it would have been perfect!
Lazerick G. from Byram, MS recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2013 This was one of the best vacations ever. It snowed while we were in the cabins. I also got a chance to use my 4 wheel drive on my truck. It was scary and exciting to drive up the mountain and night. I would definitely come back next year.
A guest from Odessa, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in January, 2013 we have stayed with elk springs before and always love there cabins. They are always clean and decorated perfect,up to family had a great 7 days, just wish we could of spent more time in the cabin to really enjoy all it had to offer.Keep up the good work Elk Springs,we will see you next year for our family Vacation!!
A guest from Indianapolis, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Memories over New Year's. It was exactly as promised and extremely clean. The location was perfect for us. The house was decorated thoughtfully and there were many nice seasonal touches. I would highly recommend the house and the property management company.
Molly H. from Walnut Ridge, AK recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 Great property. Fantastic views. Private areas, as well as, large great room. Well appointed kitchen and dining area. Very comfortable beds. Would to stay again.
Leslie M. from St. Amant, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 We love the cabin. Our only complaint is that they don't have a wood burning fireplace. The cabin was clean, the staff friendly and helpful and we truly enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to going back!
Elizabeth C. from Alexandria, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 My friend and I took a road trip and decided to drive to Gatlinburg for a few days in the mountians. Cabin was warm & inviting. Beautifully decorated for the Holidays.Had a great stay!! After we left, I received a call from manager asking us about the situation we left at the cabin. Little did we know there was a situation! We did notice water leaking after we ran the washing machine the night before we left. This woman that called me, Brandy, accused us of stuffing the basement toilet with 2-6 roles of toliet paper? Not only did we not use this bottom floor bathroom, but why would two fifty-five year old women deliberatly vandalize a beautiful place that we payed a lot of money to rent??? We were very insulted that this woman believed we made such a mess and left without reporting this problem. Apparently there was a plumbing problem that was not detected until after we left. We were very sorry for a mess that may have been in the bathroom, but it was not anything we did to create this. We still feel insulted that the communication was left as this was something we did and would not admit to doing. Other than a rude employee, our stay at the beautiful cabin was wonderful.
Lisa W. from Louisville, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 The cabin was very clean and beautiful view. The only downfall was it was a bit far from town. Would stay again and recommend to others.
Angie K. from Sellersburg, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2012 very beautiful cabin, very secluded, is about 15 miles from gatlinburg, but the drive is beautiful. The attention to detail in the cabin was terrific, Felt very homey. It was fun discovering all the bear decorations. The hot tub was fabulous.
Teresa C. from Spartanburg, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in October, 2012 Mountain Memories is a beautiful cabin with a gorgeous view! It was immaculately clean upon arrival. The hot tub was wonderful and the fire pit was great(firewood was provided)! I would recommend it to anyone, and we will definitely return!
This place is just as pictured! Very clean and beautiful!
Jacqueline L. from Bethlehem, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2012 We were so happy with this property; I have already passed the info onto some friends already! Many have seen my picture posts on Face Book and asked about the place. It is breathtaking!! As always you worry and wonder if the reviews and pictures were accurate. Well in this case they were right on! This place has got to be one of the best places we have stayed and we hope to come back again. There was just not enough time to do everything we had planned as well as take advantage of all the luxuries at the cabin! We almost wished it would have rained to keep us inside for a day. The views were amazing; the decorating inside the cabin was comfortable, homey and very thought out, creative and perfect for this cabin! I can?t say enough of great things about this place. THERE IS NO WAY THAT ANYONE COULD BE DISSAPOINTED WHEN STAYING HERE!!
A guest from Catlettsburg, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2012 I will be to the point. Mountain Memories Cabin experience was great. Last years cabin rental Snuggled in was not so great and did not get satisfaction from Elk Springs on complaints. Mountain Memories was a well maintained and stocked cabin with a nice view. I would book Mountain Memories again.
Sabrina S. from Brook Park, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in August, 2012 The house has an aawesome view and very clean. With the pool table, game system other games, hottub, and firepit what else do you need?
Stacey K. from Waterville, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 Great view n the cabin had all the accessories like at home. Kids loved the arcade n jaccuzi. Wish u could of rented a four wheeler or had one on site at cabin. Besides that, it was perfect.
Mark M. from Pingree Grove, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 If you are looking for a get-away that has it all, this is the place. Outside there was a deck, hot tub, fire pit, hammock, and grill. Inside a perfect log cabin. Clean, every amenity you could want, plus game room with pool table and over 80 video games available. Bring your own food and drink and you could stay the week and never leave the cabin and be perfectly happy. Plus downtown is only about 12 miles away if you want to experience the tourist side of things. Truly a fantastic place to stay.
A guest from Cedarburg, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2012 The cabin was beautiful and spotless! Our whole family enjoyed the game room and the deck immensely. The drive up the mountain to get to the cabin an adventure. It was really nice having access to a pool during the week. It really felt like home and we were all sad to see our stay end.
A Private Location Just Minutes from Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge
April M. from Ovid, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 I traveled to Mountain Memories with my parents, husband, and five year old son. We were all very happy with the cabin amenities. It had everything we were looking for ? a private location just 15-30 minutes from family activities (such as Cade?s Cove, Ripley's Aquarium, Dollywood, and Splash Country); fabulous rustic décor throughout the cabin; an outside fire pit with wood provided and ample seating for everyone to enjoy roasting marshmallows; a separate basement family room with arcade machine, checkers, pool table, and TV; rocking chairs and a large hot tub on the 1st floor deck that had beautiful mountain views; free access to three nearby pools; DIRECTV with premium channels in the family room, living room, and both bedrooms; high-speed wireless internet; central air conditioning; a gas and charcoal grill for cooking; a washer, dryer, and dishwasher; separate bedrooms (with blackout curtains on the windows)- a queen bedroom on the 1st floor and a king bedroom on the 2nd floor with a futon in the loft area outside the king room (great for the little guy); not to mention, extra pillows, blankets, and towels throughout. Mountain Memories had so much to offer. I can?t imagine anyone being dissatisfied with this cabin. It was a home away from home for us.Also, the staff at Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals was top notch. Any questions I had were answered promptly, billing and payment was a seamless process, proper directions and contact information were provided well in advance of the trip. In absolute honesty, the staff made this travel experience my best one yet! Kudos to them for doing everything right.Choose Elk Spring Resort Cabin Rentals and Mountain Memories like we did. You won?t be disappointed.
A guest from Charlestown, WV recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2012 My girlfriend and I had an excellent time at this cabin. It was my second time staying in a Gatlinburg cabin and by far the best (the first was good too though). This cabin is about 15 minutes from Downtown and is SECLUDED, as the description says. Not inconvenient, just secluded from neighbors. It was private. The decor is very welcoming, and the HD TVs wireless internet give you all the conveniences of home. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and was outfitted with plenty of linens, cookware, dish and laundry detergents, etc. WHEN I go back to Gatlinburg, I will definitely be staying back at the Mountain Memories cabin. Thanks to the management and staff for accommodating a pleasant vacation.
A guest from Brentwood, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in April, 2012 In addition to a great cabin, the customer service was outstanding. Plenty of emails with reminders, directions, key codes, etc... and calls to make sure we happy with the cabin. Excellent experience. Gorgeous views.
Kristen M. from Seaman, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in April, 2012 We come to Gatlinburg every year for vacation and have been staying with Elk Springs Resort for a couple years now! We love the ease of check in and have beautiful cabins!! We like to pick a different cabin each year and have not been disappointed! We really enjoyed the outside firepit and relaxing and making s'mores each night!! Thanks for giving us a beautiful place to stay and a gorgeous mountain view!
The property itself was clean, maintained, and enjoyable.
Ken C. from Brookfield, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2012 The property was well maintained, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The outdoor space, porches and fire pit, made it even that much more enjoyable. Although a bit further from Gatlinburg than expected, 15-20, minutes, we would reserve this home again. Highly recommended.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thanks again for the review. Our return customers receive a 10% discount. Come back soon.
Ronda F. from Woodbridge, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2011 I was blown away with the view and the cleanliness of the cabin. All the luxuries with a reasonable price! We wanted to stay longer. I highly recommend this place to everyone! It is off the main strip of Galinberg, which to us was nice to have privacy and the choice to go into town. (Which was only 10 minutes away). If you want a relaxing cabin and to feel pampered but ruffing at the same time.. This is your place! We will be back! (Hopefully soon!)
Dana J. from Odenville, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2011 Amazing way to end 2011! We enjoyed the amazing sunset views and the peaceful quiet time at the cabin! We plan to be back again for sure!

Greg B. from Deal, Kent recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2011 The description of the cabin lent iteself to having high expectations that we would be staying a lovely home with good views near to places of interest...the cabin met these expectations. We greatly enjoyed our short stay.

A guest from Auburn, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2011 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Memories. The home was very comfortable, and the location was amazing. Lasting memories include making smores with the kids at the fire pit, watching movies with the family, enjoying the hot tub at night, playing pool and old-school video games with my son on the gaming system, and of course downtown Gatlinburg. We will certainly return to this same cabin as many times as possible in the future, and we have recommended it to our friends and family.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals We appreciate the opportunity to have you as a guest! Don't forget that you get 10% off all future stays as a repeat guest!
A guest from Attica, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2011 After an exhaustive search into cabins around the Smoky Mountains, I found "Mountain Memories" through Elk Springs. Trip advisor had great reviews for this property manager / resort. I found only two consistently bad reviews for this cabin; location and the quality of the upstairs bedroom mattress. The complaint about the location was a sign that this cabin was for me. It was completely off the beaten path, far away from crazy down town Gatlinburg. Overall it was a wonderful experience, if you want to visit The Smokies, and you don't want to deal with the downtown traffic monstrosity that is Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge I HIGHLY suggest this cabin! I hope to be able to get back to this cabin in years to come. It was everything I had wished for!I would recommend Elk Springs, and specifically the Mountain Memories cabin, to everyone. The staff I spoke to were friendly, eager to help, and very kind.
Kelly H. from Manito, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in September, 2011
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Kelly, we appreciate the opportunity to have you as a guest! Don't forget that you get 10% off all future stays as a repeat guest!
Keith P. from Park City, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2011 IT WAS SO NICE TO GET AWAY AND ENJOY THE QUITENESS OF THE MOUNTAINS AND NATURE. I HOPE WE DON'T HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER SIX YEARS TO DO IT AGAIN
Cornelius F. from Wheatly, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2011 we loved the cabin it was a perfect honnymoon getaway the views were breathtaking a very peacefull place to unwined defenetly love to visite again.
Donald V. from Manassas, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 This cabin is truely amazing. Elk Springs Resort had it ready for check-in over an hour early. This cabin is beautiful, very clean with fantastic views. Definitely a place I plan to stay again. There were 4 adults on this vacation and the layout of the cabin allowed for ample separation and time all together. The peacefull setting made the stress melt away as soon as we arrived.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Donald, we appreciate the opportunity to have you as a guest! Don't forget that you get 10% off all future stays as a repeat guest!
A guest from Houma, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2011 Had a wonderful time! Only complaints were the distance from town, beds were uncomfortable ( hard mattreses), lots of bugs outside after dark which made it difficult to enjoy the spa, and the coffee pot didn't work well and allowed coffee grinds to enter the coffee. But overall, the place offered great views and was a relaxing home away from home for our family!
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Hi Amy, thanks for the feedback. It's tough to choose beds given so many different sleep preferences, but we do put upgraded mattresses and bedding in our cabins and we get a lot of requests for brand and model #'s on them. Should you have an issue, please call us as we are on site and can fix items very quickly, such as the coffee maker. Some times these things do stop working or do malfunction and we can easily replace and fix most items. Glad you enjoyed your stay!
Jerry S. from Altoona, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in June, 2011 This is our second stay at Mountain Memories and it was just as good this time. The property is wonderful and the view is beautiful. The new additions this year of the fire pit was a welcome surprise, too.
A guest from Union City, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2011 The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the experience was mesmerizing. Our stay was so relaxing and refreshing to the point where I was honestly sad to leave. This is definitely a mini vacation that my family and I will not forget. The only drawback that I have is the location. Although the location itself was beautiful and peaceful....we had a difficult time finding the cabin. The directions from the website should have been more precise and detailed because we probably drove around back and forth for over an hour looking for Branam Hollow and 321, which was mispelled on the directions as "Branham Hollow." In addition, I'm sure there are at least two different entrances to this street because we finally found one, but thought it was incorrect because of the minor spelling error and we turned around. Nonetheless, I could be mistaken and we may have actually been on the right street, but like I said we drove around for a while and everything kind of got confusing. (Sorry, I'm not quite sure about the street) But, fortunately we stopped and asked some extremely nice people if they could help us find Branam Hollow on our desperate search to find the cabin because we traveled all the way from Atlanta, GA and thank goodness they led us to the right place. However, once we found Branam Hollow from what the nice people told us, we didn't have any problems getting to the cabin, we just followed the directions from the website to the "T" at that point. So, once we made it to the cabin...the trip was definitely worth it. The cabin was equipped with a full kitchen, dishes, utensils...everything..all you need to do is bring your own food or go back down the mountain and buy some to cook or grill. The cleanliness of the cabin was immaculate...I don't have any complaints. The cabin was absolutely perfect!!
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals We've corrected the spelling error. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you so much for bringing it to our attention. As repeat guests you do get 10% all future stays!
The most magnificient layout, breathtaking view, comfy cozy feeling, relaxing, dreamscape anniversary getaway from it all kind of
Charles M. from Madison, MS recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2011 We had the time of our lives while staying in your beatifully decorated, most comfortable relaxing cabin. We were just amazed when we walked in the front door. The big kitchen/dinning room, the great room, and the gas fireplace, we did enjoy that, It rained the very next night we arrived. The really wonderfully decorated queen size bedroom with real carved wood rafters in the celing, and across the hall a private bath. The king size bedroom upsatirs with the private bath across the hall. The two separate rooms were especially helpful for just my husband and I, he used the Q. for his storage for clothes and his own shower and changing room.... You know how us women are I had to have my own space for clothes and showers also... It worked out great! We absolutely loved and enjoyed the great big Hot tub on the upper porch. Yes, we used it everynight!! We also adored the downstairs laundry room, with it's own separate 1/2 bath. But, let us not forget the game room we adore playing pool it's very relaxing. This is the third time we've been to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge, TN and we stayed three different cabins also.... I have to honestly say this was the most magnificient cabin yet, I have already told my husband I would love to retire here and one day use this a a blueprint for us a cabin. We only been married four years we actually got married in Gatlinburg in our cabin. We are both widowers of eight years and we absolutely love the mountains..... It is here we would love to retire and live happily ever after. We apologize for the delay in responding, we are in the middle of remodeling, we loved your granite countertops so much we decided to have some put in.Sincerely, Mrs. Charles Moore
Jennifer G. from Lawrenceville, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2011 I booked the Mountain Memories cabin for a surprise long weekend away for my boyfriend's birthday. The cabin is extremely secluded with only a couple of cabins visible below the balcony and an INCREDIBLE view! Everything is spotless and the decor is impressive and adorable. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked and although not mentioned on the website, the laundry room, foosball and snooker room are located in an elegant basement, which made the cabin feel even bigger! The first night we arrived there was a big thunderstorm and the next day, the owner came round to check all was well and fix the lid on the hot tub that had blown off, which was a nice surprise. All in all a wonderful stay and we will definitely be visiting Elk Springs again!
Kenneth K. from Carthage, MS recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2010 The sheets in the up stairs room was dirty. we took them off and washed them. the fireplace didnt work the owner come very quickly and tried to fix it. the cabin is very nice and has a beautiful view would and will go again.
Larry S. from Kennesaw, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2010 Making Memories cabin was really beautiful the way you had it decorated for Christmas...They had really nice dishes and very nice bedroom sets. I would definately stay there again. My husband & I loved our stay....Thanks, Larry & Patti Smith
Brandon D. from Krotz Springs, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2010 This cabin was extremely nice and the views were perfect. It is very secluded, but the cabin itself makes up for the drive.
Mountain Memories is the perfect name for this cabin!
A guest from Dunedin, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2010 Our trip to Mountain Memories was fantastic!! The cabin was clean and in wonderful condition, and the check-in/check-out process was the easiest I have ever encountered. The cabin was in a neighborhood-type setting, but secluded enough to offer just enough privacy. A great attraction in the area (neighborhood) was the Climb Works ziplining company, which was located at the Branam Hollow Road entrance. It is definitely worth checking out!! I would definitely recommend this cabin and will stay again!
A guest from Portville, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2010 We had never been to Gatlinburg, but we enjoyed our stay. Mountain Memories was perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved the cabin (and all of the bear decor) just as much as the mountains. The view was fantastic , and the cabin was very comfortable. I only wish it wasn't so far away from downtown but we were told it was a bit of a drive. The view and privacy was worth the inconvenience. We have already told friends about the cabin. To do over again, we would stay there again!
Jeffry S. from Loogootee, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2010 We enjoyed the cabin and planto stay there again!!My only problem is with the directions. The directions were not very specific. Go 12 miles north on highway 321 from stoplight #3. Turn on to Branham Hollow Rd.The directions we were given mention Glades Road which is totally useless and confusing.
David L. from Wisconson Rapids, Wisc. recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in September, 2010 I have stayed in Gatlinburg 4 times and this was the best experience. The property was beautiful and the staff was good to work with. I have already recommended Elk Springs to others and plan to return soon. We hated to leave the home we were in.
A guest from Lonoke, AR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2010
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Hi Karen, thank you for your comments and glad you enjoyed your stay. For future visitors: we send out 3 confirmation emails with directions to the cabins. we strongly recommend you follow these directions as opposed to just map questing and gps'ing directions. If you print off and use our directions we have almost no issues with guests finding the cabins. The general Gatlinburg area is confusing and mapquest and GPS's do get confused - unfortunately :(
A guest from La Grange Park, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2010 Our first trip to Gatlinburg is filled with many wonderful memories and our stay at Mountain Memories ranks right at the top! The home is simply beautiful and the location is perfect! We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice quiet place in the mountains with an outstanding mountain view.
A guest from Farmer City, Illinois recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2010 We loved the cabin! It was beautiful, clean, spacious! Couldn't have asked for anything more!!! If I could change one thing it would be to have received better directions to the cabin to start with. We were lost for 2 hours (with groceries going to ruin in our car) and ended up calling office and still couldn't get it right but finally found the office to get face to face directions and found our way. The cabin is VERY secluded and up a long and winding and very narrow road. But GORGEOUS!
Jerry S. from Altuna, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2010 This property was just what we needed. We shared this trip with my mother and father and we all had a wonderful time. Location and view were beautiful. The property manager was very helpful and showed up within minutes when we had a problem. Would definitely recommend it to someone
A guest from Brentwood, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2010 Great place, remote, quiet. Very clean and well kept. Everything you could possibly need is provided. A bit of a drive from Gatlinburg but overall a wonderful experience.
A guest from Ann Arbor, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2010 The biggest surprise and disappointment was how far from Gatlinburg (restaurants-services) (20 min) and the main entrance to National Park (30 min). The view and privacy made up for this, but helpful to have info about closest food and park access in the materials sent to us or in cabin. Cover for hot tub was barely manageable. Big screen TVs and HD...Excellent!
Shannon N. from LaGrange, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2010 my husband and I had a wonderful stay at Mountain Memories and couldn't have been happier!! The cabin was spotless, super cute & very comfortable. It also had the most gorgeous view of the Smokey Mountains. After staying at Elk Springs Resort we will never stay at any other resort from now on. Elk Springs has set the bar extremely high and has spoiled us. Thank you for providing such luxurious cabins......we REALLY enjoyed our stay and have nothing but positive things to say.
A guest from Cincinnati, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2010 We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Memories. The house was extremely well-maintained, very comfortable in size for 4 adults, and it had the most amazing views! I would definitely return.
A guest from Toledo, Ohio recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2010 We had a good time, place was clean, beautiful view, the whole 9 yards. The only thing is, we weren't aware that the cabin was about 13-15 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, so it took us by surprise. Not a big deal, but with friends in Gatlinburg, we would have taken a closer cabin. Thank you!
Shannon J. from Lexington, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2010 The directions we received to this property were horrible. We had to call for directions twice on our way. The property owner should also be told that there appears to be a hornets' nest and bees' nest outside on the porch. We could not sit out there one day because there were so many hornets and bees flying around. There were several inside the cabin as well. It would be nice if the master bedroom had a DVD player and not a VHS player. Property was very clean and everything worked very well. It was also well equipped.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Hi Shannon, we had the directions setup on our system incorrectly for this cabin. Really sorry about the confusion on this and we've remedied it. There is sporadic mating of carpenter bees right now which causes a lot of activity. Male bees are incapable if stinging and that's normally what you see. The females will only sting if extremely provoked, but we've never experienced one sting anybody. They will come and go, but once they are here they wont return again so the bee season for that cabin is over. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Derek H. from Memphis, Tennessee recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2010 I really enjoyed the cabin my only problem was that the name of the street was misspelled on the Directions so it took a long time to find the cabin. Once we found it we had fun and the place was better than I expected.
