Brian S. from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 I can not find flaw with this property. It was spacious, comfortable, charming, very clean, centrally located while still having a "woodsy" feeling and equipped with everything you could need. I highly recommend this property and will visit again!
A guest from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2015 Perfect spot for our annual bookclub girl's getaway!! Very well kept and plenty of space for everyone. Very convenient to town. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings!
Marina M. from Boise, Idaho recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2014 We had a wonderful time at the Stedman Cabin! It was perfect for our family. We couldn't believe how well equipped and clean and beautiful. Whoever does the cleaning should be given a bonus. I would definitely give it 5 stars. It just had a great spirit and feeling to it. Loved it!!
Great time with family and to experience the winter carnival.
Bruce A. from Weiser, Idaho recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2014 Overall it was a great experience. The only thing was we had not enough hot water for people to take showers and baths.
Diane R. from Eagle, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 We had 6 adults and 2 children stay here. We were in McCall for a family wedding. Cabin was well stocked and very clean and we all had great personal space. We also had our dog with us which we very much appreciated bringing her to McCall. Pet friendly cabins are hard to come by. Would not hesitate to rent this cabin again.
Daniel C. from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 Had one of the most amazing weekends of my life. The cabin was very comfortable for me, my 2 kids, dogs and 4 friends. One the first morning, we had two bucks walk up to the cabin deck. Walking distance from the wild down town bars which came in handy. Close to the marina which was nice too. Look forward to renting this cabin again.
John M. from Star, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 We shared this cabin with our kids and grandkids. There was plenty of room, the location was perfect which made our vacation in McCall the best.
A guest from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2013 had a wonderful visit to McCall this year, The kids as always enjoy the lake. We particular enjoy this cabin because it is close to the main road to get anywhere quickly. But far enough away we hear very little noise. the wildlife this year was particularly abundant. from the back deck we saw hummingbirds, fox and deer. On two separate occasions black bears were observed, one near Davis Beach one near the cabin where we stayed. Glad they finally went to bear resistant trash cans, less garbage in the street to clean up, The rental staff were extremely courteous and helpful
Renae G. from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 We had 16 members of our family at the cabin. Although cozy for that many, it was a perfect spot for us. I have already reserved the location for a girls weekend. The cabin is beautiful and in a great location!
Tennille B. from Hurricane, UT recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 We loved the cabin! The only thing is with the # of people (particularly kids) more than one tv would of been better.
Marc T. from Moscow, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2012 This is a very nice house with a great set-up. Bunk bed room, queen room and sleeper sofa downstairs. Queen and sleeper sofa on the main floor. Queen, bunk beds in the master upstairs and a sleeper sofa on the landing. The back deck was where we spent most of our time as there is a field behind the house and you can not see another house. Very cool to be in the middle of town and feel like you're in the woods.
Timothy M. from Lacey, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2012 We had a great time and the kitchen had everything we could ever want. We were a little warm and wished for air-conditioning but things were close and lake was wonderful
A guest from Los Molinos, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2012 Decor was very homey and in good taste. Felt like home. Took my 95 year old aunt and other than the king bed being a bit high for her to get in without assistance, it was handicap useable. She needed a bit of help to get up front stairs but once on the main floor things were good. Very peaceful. only thing lacking was being lakefront.
A guest from Kuna, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. There were plenty of dishes and kitchen equipment for a large group. There were plenty of beds that were comfortable. It was close to downtown and an easy walk to the lake. Even with careful management, we didn't all get hot showers. But otherwise everything was lovely.
Aaron S. from Pomeroy,, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 The whole trip was great, and that was definitely centered around the cabin. My only recommendation would be to have an option for music on the main levels. Otherwise, fantastic!
William and Vicki A. from Nehalem, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2012 The place was clean and very well supplied. Lots of room and decorated cute...We definitly would stay here again. Its was very is so close to town yet feels like you have the mountains in your back yard..This house feels very homey and loved... Thank you for allowing us to experience it.
Dean C. from McCall, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012 We needed to sleep 12 guys who were up for a long weekend of skiing and Winter Carnival fun. This cabin worked out very well for us. Location is very convenient to downtown. Kitchen and living room area are on the small side, but we managed just fine for the couple of days everyone was here.
Elizabeth B. from Asotin, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2011 we had a multifamily retreat and were able to have the maximum people in the house (16) in comfort. It was completely wonderful!!!
A guest from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2011 House was great for accomodating two families, and room for a 5th wheel trailer. House was well stocked and had all the amenities a family would need. Negatives, the trash was almost full, and there were trash bags in the garage that hadn't been taken out. No propane in the BBQ grill. Lots of bees, one of the kids got stung 10 times right when we got there, needless to say we had to take the lil guy to the hospital to make sure he wasn't allergic...overall it was a nice place.
A guest from Moscow, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 We had a wonderful time. Our grandchildren loved the layout and all of the room. Great deck and quiet, though close enough to town and lake.
Sherry G. from Centennial, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 This property is extremely well appointed. Everything we needed was there. The laundry room with storage gave us additional convenience. It is a beautiful site. Although we spent most of each day at the lake, evenings were very comfy with the huge deck as well as the large living room. We had a wonderful time. My only complaint was the lack of attention to the cleaning. I know the owners collect a cleaning fee but wonder if the cleaning folks should be a little more thorough. Not bad, just not the standard I would expect for the price.
A guest from Post Falls, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2011 This was our first experience renting a vacation home and everyone in our large party agreed that this is the only way to vacation from now on. The three levels enabled us to spread out and be very comfortable. The location was good and the beds were topnotch!
A guest from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2011 The size of the cabin is misleading from the front/outside. It has a bunch of rooms and 3 stories. We were able to feed and entertain 14 people comfortably. The cabin looks like it has been remodelled recently with upgraded furniture. The lighter carpets had some wearing and a little bit of dark marks - you should note this when you get to the cabin so your rental company is aware. We noticed a dent on the upstairs door and some paint wear in the kitchen when we arrived. Alas, I was impressed at the ease of the checkin process. The key is essentially waiting for you at the door. It's walking distance to hwy 55 and you have the choice of the Mill and a couple other places for eating. It says, "walking distance to downtown," but it's a 25-30 minute foot walk to get to the downtown spots. Overall, a great cabin. I'd definitely do it again!
Stu P. from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 I would provide a warning to keep trash can inside garage, picking up after bears is no fun for the teens. Cabin and deck were wonderful, enjoyed the stay, nice quiet street, convenient to everything
Merrill S. from Ramsey, NJ recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2011 We loved the Stedman Cabin! We were 6 adults and 7 kids and we fit perfectly with extra space! The beds are out of this world - maybe the best part of the whole experience. We also loved how stocked the kitchen was for cooking great big family meals. Loved the view from the back porch, and found it super easy to walk in and get ice cream at the Ice Cream Alley every night! Just had a super time and would recommend it to anybody staying in McCall.
A guest from Phoenix, Arizona recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2011 Great house. Well laid out for several families on vacation together. The kitchen and its ammenities were awesome. The tulips and daffodils in the yard were a beautiful suprise
A guest from Nampa, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2010 There were 15 ladies who rented the cabin for a women's retreat. We found the place to be clean, and the furnishings to be wonderful. The door to the bathroom in the upstairs bedroom was off the runner and it made it difficult to close, and very noisy. That is the only thing we found that was a problem of any sort, but we handled taht fine. The kitchen was well stocked with things we needed. We got a lot of good comments from the ladies. They liked the house very much.
Great location for Callis Reunion: The cabin met our expectations -- we were absolutely delighted with the condition of the cab
Paul and Joyce N. from Greer, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 It was very hot and we definitely could have used air conditioning. If not full air conditioning then fan in the master bedroom. Otherwise you receive glowing comments.
