You’re sure to be enthralled with the gorgeous mountain views to be enjoyed from the screened in front porch and the large side deck. Step inside and experience touches of nostalgia. Take pleasure in rolling back time in the beautiful country décor with antiques and signs from the past at every turn. The spacious great room offers plenty of comfy seating with an open kitchen dining area to enjoy the flat-screen satellite TV & wood-burning fireplace from every angle. (A supply of fire-logs is provided for your convenience). The kitchen is very well stocked with small appliances and offers a dishwasher, making clean-up a breeze. The master suite (also on this level) entails not only a comfy queen bed, but a private bath with tub & shower and a sunroom with sleeper sofa & TV for relaxing. A bath & laundry room is just off the kitchen area as well. Upstairs you will find another full hall bath with shower and two bedrooms, each with a double bed. A TV equipped for watching movies is in one of the bedrooms & you’ll find plenty of VCR movies there as well. Games for the kids to play are supplied as well. Small well-behaved family pets are allowed and the cabin offers a fenced in area for romping. Bringing a motorcycle or hauling a trailer? There’s easy year-round paved street access so you never have to worry about curvy mountainous roads. Want to venture into Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Tweetsie Railroad, or Grandfather Mountain? Maybe you just want to enjoy a ride on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. This cabin is a short 20 – 45 minute drive depending on which location you are destined for.
