"Whispering River" is a special vacation cabin with amenities and features designed for your enjoyment and entertainment. The cabin is part of a small community on a wooded peninsula surrounded by the New River. This creates a natural setting for privacy. Whispering River sits above the river providing a wonderful river view. The river can be accessed by the adventurous by walking down thru the cools woods to the river. Inside the cabin you will find 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and two living areas. There is 1 Queen bed on the upper level, 2 Queen beds on the main level and another Queen bed plus a Futon on the lower level (sleeps 7-8). Two TV's with satellite are available in both living rooms. With window air conditioning in the main level, you're sure to enjoy the Carolina Mountains, no matter what the temperature! A fooseball table is located on the lower level that will test the reflex skills of the very best. A washer/dryer is also located on the lower level. A hottub on the lower level deck offers sweet relaxation after a hard day of play in the mountains. In the backyard, a gazebo with a porch swing provides you with a relaxing view of the river. Conveniently located to Glendale Springs, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, West Jefferson, "Whispering River" is the vacation cabin you need to call yours for a week or weekend get-a-way!
