The lake offers great fishing, swimming, canoeing and plain relaxation, while watching wildlife, the breathtaking sunrise and northern lights. House is set up to sleep up to six. FISHING: 16 Mile Lake is a well known bass lake. Besides bass there is northern pike, perch, and catfish. For semen and trout you can try Lake Superior nearby. ACTIVITIES: Munising (7 miles away) has many wonderful attractions. Lake Superior is just 10 min. away with Picture Rocks Boat Cruises, Glass Bottom Boat Wrecks tours, numerous waterfalls and mile long Hawaiian-like sugar sandy beaches. Marquette (38 miles away) is the largest town in UP. Marquette area offers magnificent Lake Superior shore parks, restaurants with great meals.
