satisfied, not thrilled Katherine P. from Ellicott City, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2013 The unit we stayed in was adequate. It was not super clean, but ok. And things like dead batteries in the t.v. remotes were annoying, in that they were not checked by housekeeping for the next guests in. We shouldn't have had to buy those to be able to watch t.v. with a remote. The air conditioning unit/ fan is LOUD..but it drowned out the noise from the elevator shaft running all day. The kitchen needs improving in that it is VERY limited in glassware, etc. and is very small..can't have two people in at at once. The location is perfect, but in the actual unit you hear every trip of the elevator..up and down..all day and night. The bathroom is very outdated, and when you open the sliding glass window in the dining area, the neighboring building fan is extremely loud 24/7. We had a wonderful time in siesta key..how could you not?? but the condo is just OK. The management company in the front office were just OK as well..not super friendly or conducting themselves like they REALLY cared you had a wonderful vacation. But ok. |

Pool was far from beach and our unit-closer ot the beach would be better. Hot tub was much too far away to enjoy without freezig when you got out. Our unit was in urgent need of bathroom updating - the shower tile & ceiling were actually disgusting with grout mold. It was not well cleaned when we arrived (bath rug had not been washed). Disappointed that was told this was a ground floor garden view unit with place to sit out. In fact was a 4th floor overlooking the parking area with sliding window but no outdoor seating. I'm sure the person I spoke with just didn't know, but I should have been able to talk with someone who had actually been to that unit. Stayed for 10 days in November, 2012 You advertised "private balcony", "fantastic views", "unending views" for "people watching", "large bathroom", "washing machine", "clothes dryer", "ice maker", "deck/patio", "balcony", "beach view", "oceanfront", "beachfront", "ocean view"; this unit had none of those. Imagine our disappointment, expecting an oceanfront unit with balcony and getting a view of the building's parking lot, and no balcony. Additional comments: The bathroom was in no way "large" and there was no ice maker. We also didn't expect a communal washer/dryer, down the hall (for which we had to pay extra); condos are supposed to be self contained. The floors were filthy, so I washed them. The bath towels felt greasy, so I washed them as well. Siesta Key A guest from Chandler, AZ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 I have a mixed review of this rental experience. When we received information about how to get the key, we were concerned. After several phone calls not being returned by the "owner", we finally received an email thanks to Rental Pros forwarding on my email to her. Special arrangements were made for us to get a key and a parking permit from the night security guards since we were arriving so late. However, when we arrived at 2:00am, the guard had no idea what we were talking about. After scrounging through drawers, he found the key. The next problem was that the unit number listed for the rental, did not go along with the actual unit numbers. Luckily, we found the correct unit. The unit was generally clean; under the furniture there were some dust bunnies. We have stayed at a variety of rentals, all of which had some type of basic food products for us to use; syrup, spices, ets. This rental had nothing. I also found it strange that beach towels would not be provided at a beach rental. The actual location of the unit was not the best. We couldn't open our windows to enjoy fresh air, because the air conditioning units for the building are right outside the window, and that is all you could hear. I did love that we could walk out the front door of the condo building and the beach was right there. I also liked that there were lounge chairs available to use. I would not recommend this property to a friend, because I have stayed in better rentals. There were some cosmetic issues, like dated kitchen and bath, as well as bed linens, and halls that could greatly improve the enjoyment of the property were they to be updated. After being given the key we had no contact with Vacation Rental Pros, which we thought was a glaring oversight on their part. They could have - at the very least - contacted us to see if we needed anything. When one rents for an extended period of time, a little extra attention is appreciated. The Palm Bay office staff - which was not our rental agent - was very cordial and most helpful. We were led to believe that we had a view of the Gulf but it was of the roofs to the garages. The tower was right on the beach which was perfect, but our unit being in the back of the building with no view was not! Stayed for 7 days in September, 2011 very satisfied...minor suggestion.the condo did not have a channel guide for the took a long time to find my favorite chanels like ESPN,etc. Also, someone put the TV remotes in the wrong rooms, causing neither one to work. The FIOS remotes are programmed for a specific brand of television. Since the tv in the living room was a different brand than the tv in the bedroom, neither would work until we finally figured out that the bedroom remote only operated the living room tv,and the living room remote would only operate the bedroom tv.Once we made the switch, the remotes worked fine.Finally, the condo fan was way too loud. I have a 2400 square foot home and my fan can barely be heard. The bathroom had mold, the carpet was old, dingy and disgusting. The first day I dropped a pen behind the dresser and found an old advil bottle, empty water bottle and lots of huge dust bunnies. The blender was put back dirty and lots of spilled hard liquid on the front. If it was clean, this place would have been perfect. Don't stay here unless you want to clean it first! Very tired unit, facing A/C & garage, needs deep cleaned & updated. A guest from Canal Fulton, OH does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2010 We made the best of room G46, but would NEVER stay or recommend this unit again. Lucky for them it was cleaner when we left than when we arrived! A good scrub, paint, a new bathroom are definitely needed. It smelled and when we opened the window we heard the melodious A/C unit! We missed not having a patio or grill; the grills are on the beach. We were checked into the wrong unit upon arrival which enabled us to see a much nicer unit. Book directly through the P.B. Club & not a broker; they had morning newspapers, we did not. The manager was very kind in nature & moved our belongings. The front desk staff is lax; terrible listener, made excuses for faults, unclear explanation of laundry card etc... Pray for nice enough weather to run the beach, the work out rooms are hideous! They are separate & the women?s equipment faces a WALL! Can you imagine a 45 min. run staring at a stall wall 2' away? The beach was fabulous and that is where we spent our time! Stayed for 14 days in March, 2010 Missing a number of generally accepted amenities for a property at this price bracket. No kettle and when one was requested a cheap non whistling stove top was supplied. An electric kettle would have been safer and a superior item. The tv converter didn't work. there was no TV guide, either on the TV or in the suite. A new converter was supplied when requested, but no guide. The selection of dishes and cultery was minimal to lacking in basics ( no coffee mugs, eg.many missing pieces) The ice maker in the fridge did not work and had to be repaired. The iron was non functioning and had to be replaced. The manager did not offer the telephone number of the suite, making it difficult to notify family of accessibility. The number was obtained by the manager by looking at her cell#'s call display! It appeared the relationship between the management office at Palm Bay Club was strained with the property manager who was responsible for the unit #46. She didn't know how we were to access the washer and dryer units, where they were located, etc. I strongly suggest the owner take note of the suggestions made in this review. Stayed for 14 days in January, 2008 There was no gated entrance as stated in the property description. We got to the property on a Saturday but there was no one in the office until Monday. They basically were very unhelpful since we did not rent thru their office. Once we found the right condo and got in, it was filthy. Dishes and glassware in the cupboard were dirty and everything had to be washed before we could use them. Many lights were burned out with no replacements. The TV/DVD remotes did not work. The grille was dirty. Mildue in bathroom. The garbage disposal sounded like it was ready to fly apart. There were no kitchen linens. On the positive side, the bed was OK, the location of the property was good with a good view from the lanai. This would be a great property with a good cleaning and attention to detail. |
