Cinnamon Beach?s penthouse condo 762 has a long floor plan, opening to your ocean view on the end. Its eastern aspect fills the entire living space with cheerful sunshine from daybreak each morning. Sleeping 8 people in 3 bedrooms, this is a lovely choice of rental for groups of all makeup, even your pets. (One guest writes that her family loved this condo so much, ?even my teenage daughters enjoyed it.?)
The roomy living area is carpeted - great for lying on the floor on hot nights under the gently whirring ceiling fan. You might also like to curl into the sand-colored micro fiber couch or matching armchair and watch a movie. Side and coffee tables provide lots of room to place snacks or a drink while you hang out.
The room?s accents provide older world warmth, with antiqued lamps, framed tropical paintings and decadent throw cushions. Your long balcony provides an inviting view of the ocean, with perfect sunrises on display daily. Be sure to bring binoculars and keep your camera ready - dolphins are often visible playing in the surf. A classic white wooden railing maintains your view while seated around your dining table, yet keeps your children and pets safe.

I call this condo mine because we keep coming back to it so we must love it here! Only three things to mention that make this just a little under 5 stars for me. 1)They changed the floors which need some attention as they are bubbling up and making big humps on the floor. Maybe the wrong adhesive used. 2)There was a lot of dog hair that needed to be swept up. Since I have a cat at home, I can deal with pet hair - but I don't want to have to sweep it up - should've already been gone before I got there. 3) Would love more towels, washcloths,bed linens, tea towels and dish cloths. A dust mop would be great too! Otherwise we love it, and would love to come again. The sound of the waves cannot be beat! |

The pool areas were very clean and well-maintained. Ocean waves were great for boogie boarding! Only concern is floors and carpet in unit require a REALLY good cleaning. Great location...but very poorly kept condo Kassandra L. from Indianapolis, IN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 8 days in February, 2013 The carpets were very dirty and need cleaned. Things were falling apart in the rental including; the faucet in the master bath leaked unless you adjusted it to a strange position, the stove was wobbly, the couches were dirty and smelly and needed steam cleaned, the 3rd bedroom bed frames were not put together properly and I scraped my leg twice on the frame just walking around in the room and brushing against the bed, a screw in the master bath shower was almost completely out of the fixture (but it did give us a place to hang our shower sponges...lol), a living room light needed a bulb replaced, the batteries in the remotes were almost drained and made changing channels difficult, the master bedroom television froze often when changing the channels (it seemed to be a problem with the television and not the cable because it worked ok in other rooms). Honestly, I could probably go on and on about problems with the unit but I would be here all day. It was very disappointing and this was our honeymoon. Needless to say, it's a good thing I am writing this survey and not my husband because he was very upset considering the occasion and the money that was spent. Cinnamon Beach #762 - January, 2013 Alfred G. from Flat Rock, NC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 30 days in December, 2012 The location of this unit is ideal. The kitchen is well equipped. Some items that are not up to snuff are the carpeting (poor condition); master bathroom has numerous plumbing issues with faucets and slow drainage, and the master shower was moldy in spots, the dishes in the kitchen need to be replaced because of many chips and cuts in the glazing, the linens need to be looked after, there is only one king sized sheet and one king pillowcase - other linens were replaced during our stay which were excellent in quality. There were blubs that needed to be replaced in some of the lamps, the recliner chair in living room had broken feet that moved every time somebody reclined; the furniture needs to be refreshed. All in all it was a wonderful stay - we love Cinnamon Beach and we have already made our arrangements to return in 2014 but we selected a different unit. Making the reservation through Steve Milo and Vacation Rental Pros is stress free. Our unit had spectacular views and easy beach access. The beach was never crowded and we were able to take long strolls each morning and evening with our dog Sam. We enjoyed boogie boarding in the surf and just plain old relaxing. There are several good eateries near by...we highly recommend JT's, South Beach Cafe and Matanza's Inlet. Daytona Beach as well as Orlando are easy day trips. We are Floridians and love the beach. Cinnamon Beach was close to home, real plus. One of the few places we found that had a property we could rent for less than a week. Would not recommend it though... too much work for such a short time. The view was gorgeous. The pool was a bit of a hike but the walk over to the dunes / beach was right in back of our building. The only negative is the property manager expects to much of departing guests. Essentially they want you to strip the beds, do laundry, start the dishwasher, take the garbage out all while you are trying to pack up and be out of the unit by 10AM. This condo had a gorgeous view of the water and was very well equipped and clean. We did notice that things were a more worn than previous years and that some things were starting to come apart (the coffee table, sofa, screen door, decorative items in the bedroom)... We called maintanence about the screen and it was fixed promptly but then broke again on our last day. Also this unit needs a better TV in the main living room. I am not a complainer but feel compelled to make mention of these things since a price tag of over $2,000 a week demands a certain level of accomodation. I also cannot believe there is no recycling at this complex!!! In such a beautiful locale, it seems this would be an integral part of the community. The proximity to the beach is wonderful. The unit needs some TLC and updating. The carpet should be replaced,the unit needs a painting, the cabinetry in the kitchen needs to be retracked and there is a huge moth colony between the screened doors and the glass doors on to the balcony area in the master wife killed several silver fish in the masterbath and master bedroom. We stayed in the unit for a month and very much enjoyed our stay. Steve Milo is a complete professional as he offered help to us immediately whenever an issue arose. I can`t praise Steve highly enough for his caring about his client/renters. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2011 Condo was beautiful and well equiped with pots and pans. Beds were very comfy. Master bath was awesome. Views from condo fantastic. Location was not the most convienient, hard for local family to find us and visit. Security was good. Pool area nice. The most disappointing was the beach. It is all broken shell and very little sand. Wave action very rough with large rocks. Not a place for children to play and enjoy, we even found it very difficult to walk on the beach, we had to wear tennis shoes. But it is very private with not may people (for obvious reasons). Good - BUT know the DETAILS Jon W. from Marietta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2010 Overall, the Cinnamon Beach condo was good. All the furniture, etc. was fine. The top floor balcony is definitely better than a lower floor. Here are a few specifics you should know:GOOD - Unit is roomy and the bedrooms are separated so no one kept each other awake. The overall facilities are clean and the workout room is well-equiped if there are not too many people in there. Also, the wireless internet connection was hassle-free.NOT so good - The rules are not made clear until you sign the rental agreement and the rules are extensive. If you have kids and go in peak season, your pool fun will be VERY restricted. My biggest complain was that I asked about the rocks on the beach during the rental process and was specifically told there are no rocks on the beach. This is just not true. There are large, dangerous rocks made of coquina that are pervasive along the waterline. They are sometimes covered with sand, but if you fall on them - BAD NEWS. Do not minimize this if you body surf, boogie board, or skim board - the rocks are real. Check out the satalite view on Mapquest. You can still have fun once past them; but to specifically ask and be told there are no rocks was just not true. Also, the early check-out requirement is burdonsome. It is 10am and the cleaning people were knocking on our door EARLY! I would highlt recommend getting a copy of the agreement AND the rules in advance and negotiating items you feel are important. Do this before investing too much time in the process. Elevator was not working properly, we called to get it seen about early one morning (Mon or Tues) when the elevator guy came around 6 or 6:30pm he said they had just called him on overtime to come and see about it. We were also told we could not carry a cooler to the pool, last year we could! My 70 yr old mother-in-law was with us and the elevator problem made it difficult for her for about 1 1/2 days. The view from the living room and master bedroom is breathtaking. All the little details were covered for us, like tons of extra towels and even beach chairs and sand toys for the kids! We traveled with friends and they stayed a floor below. We all decided that the extra high ceilings in the penthouse made it seem much larger than theirs. If we could have packed up our condo and taken it with us, we would have in a heartbeat. Great place. Beach is nice, but the line of coral between you and the water makes swimming in the ocean a little challenging. A Wonderful, Relaxing Experience John C. from Glen Allen, Virginia recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2008 This was one of the nicest places we have stayed on vacation. The condo was absolutely great. A nice balcony with excellent views of the ocean and beach. The property was centrally located to a variety of interesting locations such as St. Augustine and Orlando. There was a great information book that listed several excellent restaurants that we visited during that week. The property was a location that was not overcrowded and appeared to have good family-oriented clientel. A totally relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We look forward to returning next year to the same location. Beautiful View! Excellent experience. Wayne S. from Tifton, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in June, 2008 We enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks in Palm coast. The condo was spacious,and well decorated. Next time I probably would have housekeeping come by at least once a week. The beach was wonderful, and not crowded. I can't wait till next summer to say there again. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2008 My family and I loved the unit we stayed in, and the Cinnamon Beach Condo Resort itself couldn't have been more beautiful. Our kids had so much fun and we never ran out of things to do! Being oceanfront was like living in paradise, waking to the sunrise over the ocean, and even watching lightning fill the sky over the crashing waves was surreal. We wanted to NEVER leave, but we will be back next year! Thank you so much for making family memories possible. 762 Cinnamon Beach - April 19 - May 17, 2008 A guest from Winnipeg, Manitoba recommends this property. Stayed for 28 days in April, 2008 We rent vacation houses/condos for 1-2 months every year and have done for almost 30 years. This rental stands with the best. Beautiful location, amazing views, clean, comfortable and well enough equipped. We were very pleased with everything, with one exception, which has nothing to do with VR Pros.What we sorely missed was the ability to bbq/grill. Understandably, one cannot grill on the balcony, but there were no facilities available anywhere at the complex that we could find, and that is a bit of a drawback, though it would not prevent us from returning. We called VR Pros and were toldby someone that she thought there were grilling facilities at the rec. center, but there were not. We would be looking to return in Feb/March of 2009, for our next vacation, but it's a little too cool at Cinnamon Beach at that time of year.I'll be checking VR Pros' website for dog-friendly vacation rentals on Siesta Key or in Venice for Feb or March, 2009. |

Great condo, great location! Judy C. from Portage, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 49 days in January, 2008 The condo was in a great location and in nice condition, although a couple of things could be improved. (1) carpet had stains and would benefit from steam cleaning more often; (2) lighting was very dark in every room -- we bought brighter bulbs but they didn't help much when the ceiling lighting was so dim - very hard to read in the condo; (3) coffee maker did NOT have an auto shutoff, and at first we would forget to turn off -- a bad safety issue, especially in a rental -- also there was mold in the master shower, and we cleaned it ourselves after arrival. Finally, we rented and paid for this condo in advance and were surprised to see few occupants in our building, and the rental on our condo had dropped by $600/mo. for the two months we were there, although that price reduction was not passed on to us. Nice condo, but we will continue to look for a better value in the same area for the season in Florida. Thank you for the opportunity to reply. |

Red Tide Cindy J. from Matthews, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in October, 2007 The condo was absolutely perfect. We had a great honeymoon there. However, we were there in October and there was a red tide with a giant fish kill. You couldn't walk 2 feet on the beach without stepping on a dead fish. And if the wind was blowing in your direction the spores from the red tide would literally take your breath away. We could not even be outside if the wind was blowing the wrong way. Also, there is not much beach there anyway. But the view was beautiful and so was the condo. I would recommend it if you like golf instead of the beach and do not go in the fall when there is a red tide. |
