March in Palm Coast A guest from Hudson, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 We truly enjoyed the beachfront unit. The view from the balcony was nothing short of spectacular! The unit itself was in good condition and clean. There is a living room chair that I would recommend replacing (broken spring or something) and the carpet does have a few stains, but nothing terrible. The unit is spacious and was very roomy for our group of four. The water pressure is not the best, so quick showers aren't really possible...and the water heater capacity seems to be a bit lacking - but we survived. Loved having a full kitchen - really didn't come across anything that we needed that wasn't there. Also loved having the washer/dryer in the unit - love, love, love going home with minimal dirty clothes! You will need to bring your own beach towels, or buy some while down there. Our main complaint would be the lack of beach chairs. There was one small chair in the unit that we could have taken down - but there were four of us - so we didn't bother. Even if we had known this beforehand, we still wouldn't have been able to bring any, since we were flying - so the lack of chairs was an issue. The resort itself is very segregated - so we never ventured into any of the other parts - we really didn't know if we could or not. A book in the unit with a resort map and the other amenities of the resort that we could enjoy, would have been greatly appreciated and would have made us feel more welcome. The two pool areas for Cinnamon Beach were pretty, but I would take the term "heated pools" very lightly. The hot tub was the complete opposite - too hot to comfortably sit in. Everyone that we saw using it did the same thing that we did - sit on the edge and just put your feet in - and even that was too hot. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 WE had no trash bags, only 3 dishwashing tablets, all the dishes were dirty and had dead bugs in them, the master bath had mold in the shower that I cleaned out, some of the furniture needs to be replaced because you sink to the bottom and can't get out, the blinds kept falling off one at a time, and the condo could use a paint job as well. I don't agree with the $150 cleaning fee when we had to come in and clean alot of the stuff in the beginning and cleaned at the end by doing laundry and stripping beds and taking all the trash out. I feel the fee is to high for what we have to help do at the end and in this case at the beginning. The last condo we stayed at their we did not have to do any of that when we arrived and the furniture and overall the condo was in excellent condition. I probably would not stay in this 842 again unless things change. For the price we pay fo a week they could at least spruce up the place with paint, new blinds and furniture that does not sink to the floor. Great vacation, quiet and exclusive Michel A. from Saint- Hilaire, Quebec recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in July, 2011 We have just returned from a 2 week stay. We greatly enjoyed the condo and especially the oceanfront view from the balcony. The unit itself was very well furnished with good taste and it was spacious. The community pool area was also very nice and we did enjoy our meals at the grill (prices were reasonable). A few points require attention from management: 1 - No BBQ. It would be nice to have a community grill somewhere. 2 - The carpet in the condo was not clean. This was highlighted in a March review of this unit and it does not seems like the issue was addressed. There is clearly a greyish track. 3- The shower in the master bedroom definitely needs to have the caulking redone. It is very moldy and the white caulking is all black from mold. The shower tub was dirty and screws all rusted. From a quality unit like this, we did expect a bit more from the master bathroom. Of course, none of this changes our opinion of this great condo. The beds were really comfortable and we enjoyed the WiFi, HDTV and unlimited long distance calls included. We look forward to coming back next year for some more beach and golf !!! Only one complaint...the carpet (especially near the entrance and by the kitchen) really needs to be cleaned. Quite a few stains (obvious since the carpet is light in color). I suggest a few minor cleaning issues be taken care of before new guests arrive (e.g., wash bathroom rugs; outdoor table had a few food globs on edges; kitchen pantry's garbage can smelled a little even with the lid closed). All in all we had a great week. And would likely return. Hart reservation unit 842 5/29-6/5/10 A guest from Greenwood, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2010 I have given high ratings above, but would like to note some negatives that should be fixed/improved. Front of refrigerator did not dispense ice and the water it dispensed was not cold. We phoned the appropriate person who suggested emptying the ice from the reservoir, which we did, but this did not correct the problem. The twin bedroom only has one low lighting lamp making it difficult to see after dark. The sliding patio screen from the master bedroom is in need of adjusting and cleaning to make it slide better. It was difficult, if not impossible to use it. The shower head in the master bath really needs an upgrade. The flow is terrible. The location and decor of the unit was terrific, and the view of the Atlantic - spectacular. Our unit was spacious (10 foot ceilings), very clean, and nicely decorated. We especially enjoyed the extra large balcony. We were, however, disappointed that the beach was difficult to walk on due to the soft sand. We did not get to enjoy the balcony much, there was a lot of bugs (suggestion-screen the area of the balcony). The beach was beautiful but did not get to swim much because of the big rocks and the constant waves were very rough. Overall the condo was beautiful, comfortable and the beach club was accessible and friendly. I liked that you had to walk to it and it was separated. We enjoy the fitness center which is a plus if you want to stay healthy and in shape. It was a very special vacation since we took my 82yr. old mother-in-law. She acted like a young child at times and being there brought her a lot of happy times. She walked the beach and wet her feet on the ocean every day. This vacation was Superb! The kids especially loved having a bubble bath in the masterbath "pool". The fully equipped kitchen made meal preparation very easy (although could use an upgrade on the pots/pans/skillets). All beds were extremely comfortable and many of us fell fast sleep on the sofa. I would absolutely recommend this unit for a family with small childen - all furniture is kid friendly. The complex was great as well - especially the graduated entry pool. If visiting I highly recommend touring St. Augustine and we had a wonderful Mother's Day meal at JT's Seafood Shack. |

We loved the location, the pool was great, we enjoyed the fact that everything I needed to cook was available to me. The only drawback was that the seat cushions were so terribly dirty and stained we were afraid to sit on them initially because we were afraid that our clothes might get stained. I understand why that was probably the case, we were toward the end of the season and you probably don't want to clean it multiple times, but they were in very poor shape. That was the only area of concern. We would absolutely stay in this area again and was very pleased overall with everything. Thanks for a lovely week. |
