2nd Trip to 932 A guest from Muncie, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 We stayed at 932 last year and had a wonderful trip. This year it was enjoyable as my family loves Ocean Hammock and the atmosphere. However, it was a bit frustrating to find several things that seemed to be neglected when preparing the condo for our stay. I found a flip flop under one of the couches in the main living room, an M & M's wrapper, a pair of sunglasses, a brochure, and a shoe holder in the children's room, a hat in the master bedroom, and a sock in the master closet. Our friends that stayed in the second bedroom also shared with us that their bed did not seem to have been made with care and they also found long black hair on the sheets. The soap dispensers provided in both of the bathrooms appeared to have been watered down and one of them did not work. The blender did not work and the oven door handle was coming off. Lastly, there was so much laundry in the dryer that when we arrived half of it was wet and we had to wash the items again. I understand that there is a fast turnaround on visitors. However, I feel that these are things that need attention. I didn't enjoy having to pick up things that did not belong to me or my family. I'm hoping this is something that will be addressed as my family and I would like to come back to Ocean Hammock in the future. From bad to good A guest from Philadelphia, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2013 Initially we were very disappointed with the facilities. The directions were incorrect - there was no Chevron Station were we were supposed to turn - after about two hours searching, we learned that the Chevron was now Kangaroo. Consequently we arrived at the place we were to stay after dark but from what we found there, there was no heat and it was not clean. We called and eventually were moved to 932 Cinnamon Beach. The staff, especially Nancy helped make the rest of our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The facilities were comfortable, clean and the location excellent. We deeply appreciate the way Nancy went out of her way for us. Your cleaning staff is excellent I cannot say enough about how great they were. Only suggetion I have is keep windex in the units that are loaded with glass-bet folks would use it (I had vinegar on hand-so just diluted and used to keep the glass clean) We will definitely be back. (Was too bad that they were instaling tiles on the upper pool area-the noise was deafing for the whole week-but have to get it done some time) My score of 4 for cleanliness has nothing to do with the staff-just related to general wear and tear. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2009 The only problems were the bed in the master bedroom- very uncomfortable and the headboard was very wobbly- and we killed 2 big spiders and 2 palmetto bugs. I am a florida native, so I understand bugs, but i thought four big bugs was a lot to see in such a short stay. Overall, though, we loved the facility, the beach, the pools, and left more relaxed then when we came. We would definately consider staying here again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the resort to others. Our only complaints would be 1) the main bathroom door did not latch, so we had to use a washcloth to keep closed; and 2) although the condo looked very clean our puppy found a pill in the master bedroom which could have been harmful especially if it ended up with a child. The beach was not so kid friendly b/c the sand was not the type of sand you can play in, it has shells and sea weed all over it. The waves were too big for the girls to play in also. It was pretty, but for the kids to enjoy it we had to travel 45 minutes to Daytona. If you just want to stay around the condo and relax it's perfect, but if you want any action then you need to go somewhere else. The beach was beautiful with lots of shells. There were rocks at the surf but the beach in front of the pool was relatively clear. Just check it out at low tide so you know where to avoid. From the time we pulled in to the time we left, we had an awsome time. Everything was magnificent! The condo was more than we expected. The grounds were gorgeous. If I had to give a negative it would be the crushed shells on the beach instead of soft white sand, but only because it's hard to get it out of a little ones bathing suit!! (and unfortunately a couple of the guards at the front gate could have been a little nicer/friendlier) but overall we had a fantastic time and are already planning to come back next year - along with other friends who want to come along just because we have done nothing but bragged since we've been home.Thanks again to all who helped make our stay so great. The children's pool was perfect. The general condition of the property was good, but the kitchen accessories could have been improved. The wine opener was broken and there was no large cooking spoon (to stir spaghetti sauce etc. ) so we had to go out to buy these. Also there were only three coffee mugs. When we arrived, there was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom so we also needed a quick trip out to remedy this as we were there for a week. At other properties where we've stayed, these have not been issues. We liked looking out on the small lake and the kids loved seeing the lizards. |

We stayed in an appartment overlooking the lake, rather than the sea and were treated to evening sun on our balcony every day. The pools were both fantastic, although we wished we could have bought drinks and snacks at the furbished, but closed, cafe and bar. We thought that someone was missing out on a great business opportunity here and thought somewhere on site to buy drinks icecreams and maybe breakfast, would have been a great facility. Our appartment (932) was very comfortable and excellently kitted out. We wished that we could recycle our trash - but it seems that Europe is rather ahead of the USA in this. Some 'eco features and facilities' would however be very consistent with Cinnamon Beach's natural beauty, and could become a selling point over time. Would certainly come again. |

My wife and I consistantly use a website called *** and those rental expereinces have all ways had enough consumables... And i recall that last year it was a similiar experience when renting through ...
