Great view A guest from Kewadin, MI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 28 days in January, 2013 The unit has a great view. It is in need of updates. The couch is ripped. There were two wine glasses. Since we stayed a month we would have loved to vaccuum. There is none in the unit. The carpeting is not in good shape. It has a runner in it that is getting is not clean. The resort is great, but I would not stay in this unit again. We tried to clean but the last day I saw a large Palmetto bug. The remotes have tape to hold in the batteries. For such a wonderful resort , this unit will need to keep up. The property is in a beautiful community and very well maintained. The view is great! We didn't spend a lot of time at the pools, but my 3 year old did enjoy the Splash area at the family pool. We had fun playing pool and foos ball in the play rooms.I do have a few issues/recommendations/concerns that if addressed would make this a 5 star experience...1) Bedrooms - ALL the mattresses need to be upgraded. They are all basic mattress with little to no support.2) Kitchen - The condo sleeps 8, but there are not enough wine glasses to accommodate, and there is barely enough silverware. The pots and pans are just OK, could be better.3) Bathrooms - Both bathrooms need the shower heads cleaned, unclogged, or replaced. The pressure seems ok, but they would not put out a full spray even when adjusted.4) Entertainment/Internet - The Wireless Internet was not an OPEN network as documented, it was secure with no password supplied. We had to piggy back on adjacent condo with an open network. The TV's need to be upgraded to HD flat screens (at the very least the main TV in the living room).All that said, we had a great relaxing weekend with our family and would recommend/return to this property. It was perfect and very reasonable for our honeymoon. Everything was clean and the grounds immaculate. Beach access was only a few steps from the condo. The beach itself was on the small side, so there wasn't far to walk to get to the water. The beach was clean and the water beautiful and clear. I would have loved to have lounge chairs on the balcony. The heat did not work the first night, so we woke up to a 60 degree condo. It was fixed right away. My husband did not like the shower heads. The water there must be a lot softer than the water in Georgia. I didn't have to use fabric softener or fabric sheets and the clothes were very soft, as well as my hair! We talked the whole time about bringing our children with us on our next trip here. We look forward to returning soon! The view of the ocean is spectacular and the size of the propery is great with a lovely bath off the master bathroom. The maintenance man-James -could not have been more helpful since we encountered several problems with the heat, garbage disposal and fire alarms. He was very prompt. The security guards at the gate are extremely efficient and respectful. It is truly a very dog-friendly enviornment. Though we love the unit it does need a few updates with the wi-fi, remote controls and britehouse TV system.. The smaller TV's don't bother us. We did notice that some of the living room furniture is starting to show wear-especially the sofa. The carpeting needs to be cleaned. The unit should have more silverware because I don't believe it has enough for 8 people. The condo location was great and we loved the size of the property. Some things the owner's might consider - updating TV's. We are not big TV watcher's but as an owner of a vacation rental, I know that can make or break a stay. The management company did a wonderful job of making sure we were happy with the property by sending a survey shortly after we arrived and following up with a phone call. The unit was very clean and nice furnishings. The kitchenware was lacking in cups, silverware, etc. My biggest disappointment was that when we stayed at Cinnamon Beach 4 years ago we had access to Hammock Beach's wonderful pools with waterslides. We were quite surprised and extremely disappointed to discover our kids and their friends were denied access to their pools and slides. They were so looking forward to it. I didn't realize until making several calls to the main resort that Cinnamon Beach is no longer affiliated with Hammock Beach with the exception of a few units. It was very disappointing and one of the reasons we came back to Cinnamon Beach. All in all a beautiful condo, beautiful view but having no access to Hammock Beach ammenities was very disappointing. The only disappointing item is that the kitchen utensils and glassware were minimal. For instance, the condo sleeps eight, yet there were only three tumblers, three wine glasses, six juice glasses. Dishes were limited: two bread and butter plates, two serving bowls, yet one was seriously cracked and no platters on which to serve main course. We had a couple of problems that we would like to mention so that the next guests will not have to encounter. Firstly and the most serious of these was my husband cut his foot on a piece of glass. It was near the kitchen on the carpet--just a tiny shard but that's all it takes. Maybe a heavy duty vacuum cleaner is needed to be able to get ALL the stuff off the floor. Secondly, the toaster DID NOT work. I had to manually hold it down the entire time if I wanted toast--again not that big of a deal but I was paying close to $2000.00 for the week and expect a toaster to work. Lastly, the dishwasher gets stuck. I finally learned why but that again bugged me. Overall our trip was fantastic and I would return. I would like to feel like I could call immediately if someone got cut again or the simple appliances didn't work. Stayed for 14 days in March, 2010 We've been coming down to these condo's at Cinnamon beach for the past 4 years. The experience at Vacation Rental Pros has been virtually perfect. The service has been tremendous. The unit, however, left a lot to be desired (564 The carpet, the towels, the furniture was old and tattered. The screen door was broken and torn. We were shocked at the lack of kitchen supplies (1 frying pan, no scissors, limited cups, wine glasses, no beach towels) Very different experience from previous units. When we come back we would not stay at this unit again unless it had a complete facelift. Obviously none of these things are the fault of team at Vacation rental pros but I hope the owners of the unit appreciate the service level provided by Steve and his team as without it we would have been left with a different taste in our mouths. Fantastic Destination for Dogs and their Owners! Diane C. from Toronto, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 28 days in January, 2010 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Steve Milo and his impeccable staff were first class with their customer service, whether responding to a request, complaint or booking a golf game. Nothing was ever handled without complete co-operation and politeness. We were dissappointed that the cafe was not open until March 1 as it would have added a lot of value to us and fellow renters who would be equally happy to meet others and have a place to socialize. Things like Super Bowl and the Olympics would have been fun to watch with new friends while having a beverage. The beach was perfect for our dog (a lab). She was able to meet lots of other dogs and further down the beach we were able to go off leash so the dogs could run freely together. We just made sure that she was back on lead if there were others around and of course always picked up after her anywhere on the property. During our first week we found some star fish on the beach and still have them as momentos. The condo was spacious and clean with a fantastic view. Ceiling lights are definitely needed in the bedrooms though as are hooks to hang towels in the bathrooms and bedrooms. We really wish there was somewhere that we could easily walk to to get a coffee, meal or drink but otherwise found everything to our liking. Thanks for the great accomodations and service. Rocks on the beach at low tide DANGER!!!!! Craig B. from Bristol, TN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2009 At high to mid tide the rocks on the beach where not visable it was very dangerous if you did not know that they were there, the condo needed some minor repairs, master bedroom sliding door did not open properly, blinds would not open and shut properly, light on stove was burnt out, not enough flatware,the smoke detecors get beeping at 6 a.m. every morning. Otherwise we liked the condo and enjoyed our stay and would like to come back but would prefer a condo in the 900 builiding. I'm very fussy + we rented a carpet cleaner at Publix the next morning which I was glad we did as the water was absolutely black + it really needed it. Everything else was nice + clean. The unit was a bit low on a few things like wine glasses, hangars etc so we made a couple trips to the dollar store which was no big deal. Frank was so accomodating + so pleasant. He took time on 2 occassions when he was obviously very busy to show us a couple units that we might be interested in renting next year. Since it is not always easy to find nice pet friendly places, we felt so lucky to have found ourselves at Cinnamon Beach! We loved that it was like going into a different world upon crossing the bridge..a very different Fl than the areas that are so crowded + hectic. UNIT 564 - E. DYER 6/11 - 6/21/2008 A guest from Jacksonville, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in June, 2008 King bed in master BR had a queen sized flat sheet on it, no king sheet in unit. Large roaches scurried when light turned on at night in kitchen and bathrooms, more than the norm. Cleaning unit and stripping beds, vacuuming, etc. before leaving seemed unfair since $150 paid for cleaning service. Elevator not functional for an afternoon which made it very difficult for someone with severe knee problems when returning from the beach to climb 6 flights of stairs, but it was repaired very timely. Pool closed several evenings more than 45 minutes prior to the 8:00 PM closing time. Overall we were satisfied, but the price and fees were much higher (almost double)than what we normally pay to stay about 10 miles north. The condo is very roomy and had all the amenities we wanted and needed. We would return, but would probably continue to stay a few miles north most summers for the price and convenience. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2008 our stay was quite relaxing! we saw dolphins from our balcony almost every day. some were close enough to swim with if we were on the beach rather than on the bacony. sunrises were awesome!! only thing we would like to see improved would be the condition of the balcony furn. the paint was chipping and stuck to your arms once they repair that you should have no enviromental interuptions and enjoy the peaceful pleasures of life. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2008 Excellent location, Gorgeous penthouse property, beautifully decorated, super clean and the view is spectacular! We watched the dolphins every day from our balcony. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the entire property was immaculate and we will definitely come back. The beach was awesome, not crowded at all and gorgeous cinnamon sand. Pools were great, gameroom and weight room in new condition and always staffed. Secure property, close to shopping and dining. Highly recommended! |

Stayed for 7 days in April, 2008 Great location to spend some time on the beach with family and still be within a stones through of Disney. We stayed a week and went to Disney for a full day leaving early in the a.m. and getting back to the condo late that evening. Highly recommend the property; just be careful on the beach - there are a few rocks in the surf at low tide.
