From the beginning of the 1500's Pari was an outpost of the Superior Province of the Sienese State, and at the end of the 1700's it fell under the jurisdicition of Grosseto. Perched on a hill looking out over the Ombrone valley, Pari is a place where time seems to stand still. The small village, with its charming, narrow stone streets, has a general store, restaurant, bar, newsagent and daily bus service to Siena and the seaside. During the summer months, Pari plays host to many traditional and characteristic town festivals. Nearby are the thermal baths of Petriolo, which were already known in Roman times. The property's location is halfway between the major Tuscan art cities and the coastline with kilometers of beaches.
