The Property

“Vue de Chateaux” is spacious modern architecturally designed family home built in 2007 to an extremely high specification for the current owners it is let for the first time in 2010 for a limited period only. The views from all aspects are spectacular. It has an uninterrupted view of the Chateau de Montfort, one of the most picturesque and photographed chateaux in the Dordogne, the Dordogne Valley and open countryside. The location could not be better, just 3 kms from the famous medieval market town of Sarlat and under 1 km from the Dordogne river and valley. Golf Du Domaine De Rochebois and the Vitrac Tennis Club are also less than 1 km away. Canoe and kayak hire on the Dordogne River is within 1kms.

“Vue de Chateaux” has been tastefully furnished with furniture and fittings imported from the UK for the owners. The master bedroom en-suite bathroom and kitchen have been designed by a local well known interior designer.

The Accommodation

“Vue de Chateaux” has four double bedrooms three with double queen size beds and one with twin beds. The master bedroom, which is on the ground floor, has a superb en-suite bathroom

The main entrance and hallway leads to the dining room, open-plan kitchen, Lounge master bedroom, utility room and cloakroom.

The dining room has a table with comfortable seating for 8 people and a window overlooking the terrace and pool.
The open plan kitchen is U shaped taking full advantage of the views from the six French windows of the Chateau the terrace, pool area and gardens.
The kitchen has been fitted with a Sholts oven and microwave, Liebherr double fridge with freezer and ice maker, and a temperature controlled wine and drinks fridge with glass door. There is also a ceramic hob and dishwasher. A high standard of indoor and outside crockery and utensils are supplied. A breakfast bar sits to the right of the counter with seating for four.

The master bedroom has a queen-size double bed, bed side tables, chest of drawers and fitted wardrobes. There are two French windows that overlook open countryside. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, walk-in wet room shower, two independent vanity units, and a WC.
The lounge is tastefully furnished with 4 sofas and a coffee table. There is a flat screen television with UK satellite, DVD, IPod station, and CD player. A telephone and WIFI is also available.
There are three ‘French windows opening on to the vast terraces and pool, and two additional ‘French windows opening to the front of the property where there is a large parking area.
At the end of the lounge is a sliding glass door which opens to a covered terrace with the spectacular view of the Chateau de Montfort. Here you can relax out of the sun on comfortable outside furniture.
The utility room with a window has a Whirlpool washing machine and tumble dryer.
The cloakroom with a window has a wash-hand basin and toilet.

An oak staircase leads from the hallway to the upstairs accommodation which comprises of a two double bedded rooms one en-suite with shower vanity unit and WC. Separate bathroom with bath and a one twin bedded room. All three bedrooms rooms have fitted wardrobes and bedside tables with lamps and aircon units.

The Grounds

The grounds of over an acre are landscaped and maintained weekly during the spring and summer seasons. The 20 ft x 40 ft heated swimming pool with Roman end steps for safe entry is approached from the terraces. There is a solar heated pool-side shower.

On the terrace there are ample garden furniture, sun loungers, chairs, and a table seating 8 for outdoor dining. A Weber gas barbecue and tennis table is also provided on the terrace.

A damage/security deposit of £500 will be required. This will be returned within 48 hours of departure providing there are no problems.

Bed linen towels and pool towlels are provided water and electricity is included.

Local English resident is on call in cases of emergency.

No smoking or pets are permitted in the property.
