One bedroom beach side apt. with a small living room, futon sofa and kitchenette (no stove but fridge, microwave and coffee maker). The bedroom has queen bed and a full bathroom. There is a furnished patio facing the ocean.Corona del Mar is a group of four 1 bedroom apartments and one studio apartment located just off the beach, just a short 5 minute walk to the center of Tamarindo. Set on a large private lot with lovely gardens, picnic tables, and an ocean view, the unique layout of Corona del Mar makes it a perfect place for a romantic get-away or reunion. Literally just steps from Tamarindo?s pristine beach, you can swim or boogie board virtually outside your front door.Back off the beach, Orchid and Libelula are each one-bedroom apartments with full bathrooms and private patios. Orchid has a full kitchen and a small living room with a futon couch. Libelula has a living room with futon couch and a dining table. It has a cooking nook with a microwave, coffeemaker and refrigerator.There are two beachside 1 bedroom apartments, Mariposa and Paradiso, each with a small living room, futon sofa, and kitchenette (no stove but fridge, microwave and coffee maker). The private bedroom has a queen bed and a full bathroom. Each of the beachside apartments has a furnished patio facing the ocean.The smallest unit, Hibiscus, is a studio bedroom with a queen bed, small fridge and microwave. It has a full private bathroom as well as private patio.

Last minute rental turned out to be a little gem !! A guest from Newburgh, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in February, 2013 Our flight was cancelled and we had to find someplace last minute for one night. The rental agency had us visit the place within a half hour of my call. A little gem, steps from the beach. Perfect for a couple !!! |

not for a single woman Jennifer B. from Somerset, NJ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in April, 2012 was traveling alone and this is not the place for a single woman. maybe better for a small group or a couple. But there is no security (no wall; not guard, as other properties have) and one evening a local gentleman came banging on my sliding glass door tying to get me to open it. He could see I was alone. When it occurred to me that there was no one to call for help (no phone in the place...and who would I call?)....i booked a flight home. Also the DVD player didn't work. When I moved the TV to try to fix the problem, i noticed there was sand piled up along the wall. Not a very good cleaning job. The shower wasn't very clean either. Plus- it's a hot, dusty walk into town. |

Nice, but there are better options Meghan B. from Caledon East, ON does not recommend this property. Stayed for 1 days in February, 2011 Don't get me wrong, the room was quite nice and very clean. It's just that we had come from a house further down the beach that was FANTASTIC (another RPM property called Casa Banyan). The Corona property needs some landscaping and some trees cleared so you can see the beach from your rooms. All in all, it was fine for the 1 night we had to stay. The kitchen facilities are minimal (no stove), if you were thinking of staying longer. |
