One bedroom beach side apt. with a small living room, futon sofa and kitchenette (no stove but fridge, microwave and coffee maker). The bedroom has queen bed and a full bathroom. There is a furnished patio facing the ocean.Corona del Mar is a group of four 1 bedroom apartments and one studio apartment located just off the beach, just a short 5 minute walk to the center of Tamarindo. Set on a large private lot with lovely gardens, picnic tables, and an ocean view, the unique layout of Corona del Mar makes it a perfect place for a romantic get-away or reunion. Literally just steps from Tamarindo?s pristine beach, you can swim or boogie board virtually outside your front door.Back off the beach, Orchid and Libelula are each one-bedroom apartments with full bathrooms and private patios. Orchid has a full kitchen and a small living room with a futon couch. Libelula has a living room with futon couch and a dining table. It has a cooking nook with a microwave, coffeemaker and refrigerator.There are two beachside 1 bedroom apartments, Mariposa and Paradiso, each with a small living room, futon sofa, and kitchenette (no stove but fridge, microwave and coffee maker). The private bedroom has a queen bed and a full bathroom. Each of the beachside apartments has a furnished patio facing the ocean.The smallest unit, Hibiscus, is a studio bedroom with a queen bed, small fridge and microwave. It has a full private bathroom as well as private patio.

Middle of no where A guest from San Carlos, SJ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2012 I do not know if the condo was clean or is located in the middle of no where with no restaurant, or any facilities for food or entertainment or for the mater anything. The owners were nice enough to let us cancel the reservations. Also it is on a very bad dirt road that runs for about 25mn. For people who wants nothing to do and just be away from the world it is OKExpidia needs not to deceive people it is not right. |

Stayed for 2 days in January, 2011 I visit Tamarindo at least twice a year and Mariposa (Corona del Mar) has proven me to be a great place to stay. The house is just a few steps from the beach, on one of the safest and more peaceful locations and with a great view of the entire Tamarindo beach. It's ideal for 2 but the futon couch can be used for 2 more. The only con is that it doesnt have a full kitchen, but it does come with Microwave, minifridge and a coffee maker. Highly recommended! |

A nice cheap apartment on the beach Adam K. from Elko, Nevada recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in November, 2010 The apartment was clean and nicely furnished. The only problem that I saw was that at night there were some ants on the floor but they weren't a problem. I would not recommend staying there if your with a group that will require more than two beds. That is all there is. Two couples or two people. Great location though. |

It may have been different if the unit next to us would have been rented at the same time. It was a surprise the housekeeper would come everyday. She was great and so was the gardener. They were very polite. We will be coming to CR yearly and plan to rent this same unit. |
