Sleeps maximum 10 people.Quiet and secluded in a natural setting, Casa Estrella is only a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops in Tamarindo. Situated on a hill overlooking Bahia Tamarindo this house combines wonderful ocean views, spacious living, and great location. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the view from the large private patio. Or cool down with a quick dip in the sparkling pool.Casa Estrella?s colorful design has a distinctive European feel. Downstairs you will find a bright and airy living and dining area with a full kitchen. Sliding glass doors lead from the living room to the pool and patio. To the left of the living area are two bedrooms with queen beds and a bath. The large master bedroom with king bed and bath are located to right and open onto the patio.Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms with queen beds, a shared bath, and another spacious deck that overlooks Tamarindo and the ocean. The house is fully air conditioned for you comfort and has cable TV.

We loved the house itself & the location. My husband & I would have demanded money back, as there was no way we could have gone Preeti B. from Hawthorn Woods, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2008 the house.We would have liked RPM person to call us to find out if all was OK. That said, the house itself, the garden etc.was just beautiful. The view was fantastic. Too bad they are bulding some high rise that would block the view in future.Over all we were happy with the house. |

Fantastic 5 Bedroom House with View and Pool Sandra M. from Mississaugh, Ontario recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2008 An oasis from the heat and hustle and bustle of the dusty beach town of Tamarindo our 2 families thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay in this spacious and architecturally pleasing block and stucco home, one of the finest in town. This house constructed with two others attached is private and once you're in you don't even know you have neighbours. What makes this home really unique is it's perched location on a west exposed hillside that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. A construction crane distracted a bit from the view which was otherwise spectacular. Everything, the beach, town and shopping is within a 5 to 10 minute walk and the hilly terrain provides for some built in exercise. Handicapped folks may have some difficulty getting around. Everything was clean with the exception of the pool that was swimable, the water was clean but pool walls were dirty and there were bugs and plant debris that should have been cleaned more frequently. Costa Rica is a great place to visit. You will feel safe and once oriented will fall under the spell of the lay back tropical life style. Side trips to the ocean, volcanoes, jungle canopy are a must while you are there. The Country faces major challenges with infrastructure development. There appears to be a lack of planning and policy at all levels of government which is allowing patchwork development of high rise condominiums in town which is taking away from the small town appeal. We hope the Costa Rican government has the foresight and ability to better manage and improve it's urban environment. Proper management of water resources, waste water treatment and waste management all require action now. We hope to visit this wonderful place again. |

It is in walking distance to town, has 5 equal sized bedrooms with shared baths and one master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The pool is great and overlooks the water. There was good privacy at the house, it was generally in pretty good shape. It is walking distance to town/beach but up a hill so be prepared for the hill! |
