This 2 bedroom, 1 and 3/4 bathroom Santa Fe home sleeps a maximum of 4 people and is located just steps from Canyon Road, El Farol, Geronimo's, and many great galleries.The living room is beautifully decorated with southwestern accents and offers an open floor plan to the kitchen and dining room great for enjoying family and friends as you cook a homemade New Mexican inspired meal. The living room has plenty of seating for visiting next to the cozy kiva fireplace. The kitchen has updated appliances, finished concrete counter tops, and all the dishes and cookware needed to enjoy home cooked meals. There is also a dining room table with seating for 4 and additional seating at the breakfast bar. The guest room has two twin beds and a small CRT TV as well as a separate bathroom off the hallway. The master bedroom has a queen bed, southwestern furniture, kiva fireplace and private bathroom. There are wood floors and vigas throughout the home. There is a private walled patio, the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Pros: many and strong; Cons: minor and few A guest from Webster, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in December, 2012 Excellent casita and management overall. A few minor slips: Mgt had our departure date wrong even after we called & corrected it, wth the result that the cleaning person surprised us by appearing in the kitchen four days early. Also, we couldn't use the washer/dryer because the only directions we found were in French and Spanish (no English version). Finally mgt was somewhat hard to reach--holidays and all. Other than those minor issues we'd recommend the place very highly. |

Canyon Road rental A guest from Vanxouver, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2011 Excellent location. My only recommendation would be to have the house number on the outside of the house. It was challenging to figure out which house it was, especially since we arrived in the dark. |

We were disappointed with our rental. Rebecca B. from Englewood, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2011 When I arrived on Wednesday, the property was not ready. They were working on the outside and I couldn't get in until after 5:00 o'clock. When I was able to get into the condo--the air conditioners were not installed, the smoke alarm was beeping and the refrigerator didn't work. When the repairman came to install air conditioner and replace battery in smoke alarm, I mentioned to him that the refrigerator didn't seem to be working--he checked it, and we agreed that we'd see if it cooled more overnight. (He was very nice and competent.) On Thursday my husband arrived. He confirmed that the refrigerator wasn't working--it didn't cool, and the freezer didn't work at all. He also discovered that the washer was broken--because cleaning people had left two rugs in washing machine--wouldn't spin. Towels were left in dryer. Repairman came and brought a substitute refrigerator which was placed in the middle of the living room. Finally on Friday after I complained--the same repairman came--took away the refrigerator from the kitchen and placed the substitute refrigerator in the place in the kitchen. Also on Friday--I finally located extra towels, dish towels, pot holders--all inside a bag and under other stuff in the guest closet. I guess I would say that the rental unit was simply not ready to be rented. The refrigerator was obviously not working--anyone could have seen that by simply opening the door. No one had checked the unit adequately. After I complained again--we were sent a gift basket and a $40 gift card. But in my opinion this is not adequate. I asked for one night free refund--but didn't get it. |

Canyon Road rental A guest from Carmel, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 10 days in August, 2009 1. The rental was not stocked well with staples. The last rental we had with you on Camino Tisado was well stocked and one could live there for more than a week without having to buy spices, oils, garbage bags, etc. Also the process of getting this rental due to the change of management/companies was very disjointed. Bigette was very helpful. Marilyn was great once we got her involved. James was a disaster. Not sure I would recommend your agency again. Cindy |
