The Tree Top cabin was nicely furnished, clean, and had a great view of the mountains. We were so active hiking that we spent only evenings at the cabin. Prbably should have spent less on a cabin with fewer luxury items. The only drawback to this cabin was the "master" bathroom... too small for two people to use at the same time.

My wife and i had a wonderful time at the cabin. We had four great days to spend together of sharing our anniversary of 21 years and me turning 50 while we were there during our stay at the cabin. the hot tube was a rewarding sight and comforting to this aging person after long days of exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The view was great and time we spent together watching the view cuddling will never be forgotten.

My husband and I decided to visit Gatlinburg for our honeymoon, and we are so glad that we did! We had a great time and loved our cabin. Our only complaint was that our BBQ out on the porch was out of propane, as well as the fireplace. The property manager had to come to our cabin a few times to check on it, and the propane truck was idling loudly outside our cabin while we were trying to relax during our massages. The cabin was spotless clean, except for the light fixtures in our bathroom. Great location, very cozy and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!

Last year we stayed in Picture Perfect, which we found to be a lot more comfortable. Did not especially love the layout/stairs, but I suppose we could have done more homework and learned it would be different (we mistakenly thought the cabins in that area were pretty much the same). Would love to have had more amenities on the deck as well. Still was great - just didn't realize it wasn't the same. We love staying in that area though.

Tree Tops was such an amazing cabin! It was so clean and had everything you could need from a washer/dryer to dishes. The view was breathtaking from the porch and the hot tub was wonderful. We cannot wait to go back!! Highly recommend this cabin!!!

We stayed 5 nights at Tree Tops for our honeymoon, and it was perfect! We were closest enough to town and still felt secluded. The cabin is so nice and cozy, made us feel very at home. I would recommend this cabin to anyone! Loved our stay there and we hope to be back!

Tree Tops Honeymoon Get-Away

My wife and I stayed at Tree Tops for our honeymoon and were very pleased with the accommodations as well as the location. It was a quick 10 minute drive into town. We loved the privacy of this cabin as opposed to what we could see of the other cabins. It was perfect for a couple, but maybe too remote if taking school age children. It was extremely clean and well kept and we look forward to staying there again in the future. The one thing I would say is that the upstairs deck needs to have better lighting. We arrived late on our check-in date and it was very difficult to cook on the grill.

This cabin rental was wonderful. While the location is a little outside of Gatlinburg. It was nice to be able to visit the attractions nearby, but know we were able to slip back into seclusion. We did have to take showers upstairs because there was a problem with the water taking forever to heat up downstairs. Minor problem to a great visit!

This was our first vacation to TN and it won't be our last. Elk Cabins (Tree Tops) were amazing. The cabin was clean & comfortable. The amentites were plentiful and having a washer & dryer was a bonus with 2 young kids. The view was beautiful and having breakfast on the deck in the morning was priceless. The hot tub was great and the swing on the porch was very relaxing for my daughter and I to spend 1:1 time with each other. I would recommend this property to others and we will be back soon! Can't say enough how wonderful Tree Tops was!!

Smoky Mountain Heaven

Cabin is darling - every amenity you need even for those rainy days - from cooking to entertainment to comfort. Everything was in perfect working order. Gorgeous views outside your deck and sound of the flowing stream was fabulous. Winding small staircase downstairs to master bedroom, pool table and hot tub is not for the older clientele nor large heavy luggage (we kept ours on main level). Could use closet space upstairs for this but managed just fine. We enjoyed staying at the cottage and cooked in most days. Everything you need was there. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Elk Springs does a fantastic job and very professional. Would definitely book again with them. Thanks for a great vacation.

We decided to try something different than Mexico or Jamaica for our annual trip this year. I saw Elk Springs Resort on Groupon and we booked our trip. We were beyond pleased with our choice. The cabin was beautiful and the scenery phenomenal. We ventured out during the day, would get back to our cabin anywhere between 3pm and 5pm and sit on the deck and read for the remainder of the day. It was so peaceful and the sound of the creek nearby so relaxing. I could have stayed on the deck all day, but my husband likes to venture out. We did some auto tours through the Smoky Mountains and it was beautiful. We would definitely like to return some day, possibly thinking about doing it in the fall next time, just because we feel the colors would be beautiful to see. Thank you Elk River for a relaxing, peaceful vacation - I needed a break from a stressful job and everyday life (didn't even bring the laptop) and feel truly refreshed. We have already highly recommended you to several friends and family members.

My wife and I just stayed in the Tree Tops cabin, and it was incredible! The entire process of booking the cabin was straightforward. Everything was done online, they emailed us detailed directions about a week before checkin, and we were able to drive straight to the cabin as they gave us an entry code to get in. The hot tub, grill, and living areas were perfectly clean. King size bed, upgraded linens. There were about 8 cabins on the same road, but it felt extremely private. Once you're inside you really won't know they are there. Great views of the mountains, and you can see sunrises and sunsets since it faces south. Also, there is a large stream that runs behind the cabin that is great to listen to and it's loud in a good way! You won't want to leave! We will definitely be back!

We visited for a long weekend the 1st of March. The cabin was wonderful! Very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the beautiful view...along with the hot tub and pool table. It's a little bit of a drive to downtown Gatlinbug and a little further to Pegion Forge, but it was nice to be away from the hustle and bussle. My only small complaint, if i had to have one, would be the spiral staircase to the biggie, just a little more work taking our luggage down and then up.

A Blast In Tree Tops

The thing that I did like about it was that we did not have to check in with an office to get our keys. The cabin was new and in excellent condition. There were other cabins close to us on the same street but once you were inside you think you are all by yourself. The view was nice and the foliage was spectacular. We had a nice big bed with a good mattress. We also enjoyed having a flat screen with a Bose sound system in the bedroom. We have stayed many times in the Smokies over the years and really enjoyed this cabin. I would not stay in one on the street above us overlooking the green roofs on the cabins on the street below. If you stay in the first roe of cabins you will not see any roofs below you. I did not particularly care for the spiral staircase to get down to the bedroom, but we met the owners and they said they had eliminated that on the cabins they had built after tree tops. They were very nice people and were very dedicated to serving a market of honeymooners or those who felt like they needed almost a second honeymoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the mountains through Elk Springs Resort and I'm sure we we call on them again.

The Tree Top unit had almost complete privacy on the decks vs. seeing the road from most other units. We enjoyed the stay even though it was a longer distance back to the park than other choices. The unit had complete cooking and eating items which left only food to be purchased. A relaxing week for us while we enjoyed the fall foliage. Thanks (Note - our town is Celina, not Selina)

From the moment we stepped foot into this beautiful mountain get-away we knew we were in for a very relaxing, romantic, may not even leave the cabin, time together! The owners really do care about your comfort and will do what ever they can to better accommodate and needs.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tree Tops cabin; it exceeded our already lofty expectations. I was impressed with how immaculately clean the whole cabin was; right down to the coffeepot looking brand new and the hot tub so clean your finger would squeak on the side. The place smelled nice and everything looked brand new. We loved the decorations; rustic, with lots of black bears everywhere and a hint of autumn/Christmas decor to remind us that the holiday season is approaching. :-) Even though the cabin had a rustic feel, it was immaculate to perfection and we felt like we were in the lap of luxury. It rained for most of our stay but we were perfectly content to spend the whole day in such a beautiful place. The sheets were incredible. There was a great view of the Smokies. Our only disappointment was the proximity of the cabin to other cabins; we were hoping for something a little more remote and off the beaten path. We heard a barking dog, a weedwhacker and a lot of automobile traffic when outside (inside was perfectly quiet). We were glad that at least our cabin was adjacent to only one other cabin, which afforded a bit more privacy than the others had. Definitely lived up to its name, as we certainly were among the tree tops and enjoyed swinging on the swing amongst the trees. Aside from being a bit close to the other cabins and hearing some suburban sounds, and the fact that the grill was out of gas when we went to grill our steaks for our anniversary dinner (easily rectified as there was a broiler pan available which we used instead), we really could not ask for more. I would give this resort an A+ despite the two minor complaints listed above as our vacation was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed every minute. We would recommend this resort to anyone. From the reservation process to check out we had an incredible experience which was well worth the money. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the Tree Tops cabin. From the time of the reservation until our departure, the management company was in constant contact with information regarding our stay. The cabin was wonderful. VERY clean and the view was fantastic. Grilling on the deck and having your own personal hot tub could not have been better. The distance of the cabin is a bit farther from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but just plan for a little extra driving time. The peacefulness away from the hussle and bussle is worth it.

Think we had bedbugs - faces bitten in king bed. upholstery dirty on coach...location not very private and noise from road bothersome in evening. I paid over 2 K for this. Last year, paid much less and had complete quiet from road, more space, (2 BR,) cleaner furniture and it was more private.

We finally got to go on our honeymoon, two years later, and we absolutely loved Tree Tops. It was only about 10 minutes away from down town Gatlinburg and another 10 minutes to Pigeon Forge. We felt like we were miles away from all the noise and action but we weren't. The view was great from the deck and the hot tub was so relaxing. The cabin was super clean and we felt right at home. Definately will return in the future.

Elk Springs is the best cabin rental company to go with

We were delighted when we first came across Elk Springs Resort Cabins online and started excitedly looking at all of them to see which ones we liked the most. We read many many reviews as well, of both Elk Springs and other cabin rental companies. Nearly all the reviews said the same thing - Elk Springs is the best cabin rental company to go with. They keep the cabins clean and in working order and have the best customer service. We experienced this first hand and were SO thankful we went with Elk Springs. Many of the reviews of the other cabin rental companies complained of undusted cabins, broken hot tubs, and all kinds of other inconveniences that the rental companies were either reluctant to slow to fix. Our honeymoon at Tree Tops was everything we had hoped for. We loved grilling our meals out on the deck and enjoyed many evenings out in the hot tub with the beautiful Smoky Mountains as our backdrop. The King size bed on the lower level was wonderful - just the right firmness for both my wife and I. We definitely appreciated the express check in as well. It was so nice to be able to drive straight to our cabin, punch in our door code and security code, and enjoy our evening. One suggestion I would have for Elk Springs is to maybe add a page to their welcome binder listing any restaurants that deliver to the cabins. My wife and I had read through the visitor's log and saw that a previous couple had ordered pizza delivery form Cobbly Knob, so we decided to do the same. If there are other places around Elk Springs/Bear Foot Resort that deliver, that would be a nice resource for guests staying at the cabins. The only other thing we found is that the cabins are a little further away from Wal-Mart and the entrance to Great Smoky Mountain NP than what the information provided to us by Elk Springs indicated. But it wasn't that big of a deal. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire honeymoon experience at Tree Tops and would highly recommend it to anybody looking to get away.

Our experience more than met our expectations. We were more than satified with all the amenities and wonderful view from the deck. We were impressed by how clean and beautiful the cabin was. I would personally recommend this cabin to my friends and family. We thought the location of the cabin and convenience to Gatlinburg was well worth the value. We can't wait to return. You know you have found something special when you just can't believe your time is over.

If you're looking for a place to spend quality time with people you love, you couldn't choose a better spot. I wish I could attach a picture our mountain view...unbelievably beautiful.The cabin was clean, kitchen well stocked with basics, the beds comfortable (including the Murphy bed), the air fresh, and the sounds of nature could lull a baby to sleep. It was the perfect place to spend quality time with the three most important women in my life. We plan to return.Also, the resort is only about an hour and 15 minutes from Asheville, NC. This is too close not to drive up and visit the Biltmore Estate.

We had the most wonderful time while at Tree Tops! Not only was the cabin and the area beautiful, but the staff were some of the nicest and most helpful people that I have ever encountered... period! We ended up having some problems getting home towards the end of our trip, and the cabin owners took time out of their own schedules to help us out in ways we can never repay. Thank you!

This is a very nice cabin, with beautiful views. It is the end unit in a row of cabins overlooking the mountains, and fairly private. They are currently constructing another row of cabins behind/above this one. Everything was great except the propane barbecue grill grate was very rusty, flaking chunks of rust (unusable). someone covered the grill with tin foil which extinguished the flame, which seemed dangerous. We thought there was no hot water in the lower level shower, but it turned out that the hot/cold was reversed. Overall a wonderful stay.

I cried when we opened the door. This place is above and beyond gorgeous! Sprial staircase, AC, 2 flat screens w/bose surround sound, all the ammenities you need. Just bring food and clothes! So peaceful. Will come back for sure!!!!

This cabin is top quality in furnishings. Our only complaint would be the bathroom is the size of a closet and two people can't dress at the same time. A safety hazard is the spiral staircase - very inconvenient for taking luggage up and down. Overall, we had a great time and was very comfortable at the cabin - it felt like home. The owners/manager were two wonderful people that really care about the property and our comfort.

I've been to Gatlinburg at least seven times now. The last two times I've stayed with Elk Springs Resorts. First at Bears Den and next at Tree Tops both in which were spectacular. Perfect stay for two or four people. These cabins for the size as for as i'm conserned are as good as it gets in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Thanks Elks Springs Resorts for the wonderfull memories with my family

My husband and I went to Gatlinburg, TN for our anniversay. We stayed in the Tree Top cabin. The cabin was gorgeous (talk about a luxury cabin!) and the craftmanship of the cabin was high quality. The cabin was immaculate and the view of the mountains was magnificent. I would highly recommend staying at this resort. We'll definitely be back again!

The view was not as good as the pictures made it seem. It listed the hot tub as private but their is a cabin right next door and other building within site of back deck. The staircase is a bit narrow and awkward.

the view was fabulous however, in your add on your website it was a little decieving as to the seclusion of the location. you stated that there were no street lights or nearby streets. there was street noise from the highway. we were also happy w/the location but by the looks of your pictures, was a little disappointed by how close our nieghbors were. we did have the end cabin which made it more private. dispite that, we had an amazing time. the cabin was beautiful and clean. the view was great. the managers were extrememly helpful and very friendly!!!! we loved it. and would we recomend this property to our friends? we already have. thank you very very much!

The 1st person I spoke to about reservations did not seem to know what he was talking about. I called back, spoke to a very knowledgable lady(she saved the reservation). The only problem at the cabin,the jets on the hot tub did not work right. Everything else was fantastic. We will definately reserve this cabin again.

This was the best place we have stayed in Gatlinburg. The property owner came by and was extremely pleasant and helpful. He made us feel like it was very important to him that our time there was relaxing and worry free. One comment: more hooks on the backs of doors and in various locations around the cabin would have been helpful.. hanging up towels, robes, etc. Thank you so much for allowing us the time there. We have been coming to Gatlinburg for our anniversary for a number of years and are never disappointed, especially in January. This year's stay was a highlight though.

I think the name "resort" totally belies what this place is all about. Really boiled down to 2 multipurpose rooms. The kitchen, dining and living room, office were all in the same space. Staircase was very narrow. Downstairs was the bedroom with a pool table right in front of the big screen TV with the jacuzzi tub to one side. I think the photos were deceptive. Made us believe there were more rooms. I was also expecting some of the amenities of a true resort, but that was not to be. This was pretty much 5 houses on a hill, with no amenities. The view is spectacular. The office does not exist, in the true sense of a office. When we stopped by the "office" it was closed, but looks like an electrical shed. Had problems with the internet, the owner was very helpful. Had 2 nice fireplaces.Overall I wouldnt recommend it to anyone,but I will definitely be back to the smokies.
