Villa Sounion is a luxurious 5-bedroom, 5-bath oceanfront home located in the Thompson Cove area of Provo (Providenciales) in the Turks & Caicos Islands. The villa features exhilarating views of the coral reefs & turquoise Caribbean!
Overlooking the pool & ocean, Sounion's living room is spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished, with modern artwork adorning the walls & cool Italian marble floors underfoot. Home entertainment equipment includes satellite reception from Direct TV (integrated into the stereo receiver, allowing satellite audio channels to be played throughout the villa), WiFi, and telescope with a wide selection of lenses. The dining room comfortably seats 10 for formal dining, and has an adjacent mini-bar & wine fridge with a 32-bottle capacity. There's also an informal dining area on the poolside verandah, and a breakfast balcony (with electric BBQ grill) overlooking the sea. Sounion's modern kitchen, with commanding views of the pool & Grace Bay, is equipped with large fridge (with ice machine), conventional & microwave ovens, ceramic cooker hobs & dishwasher. There's also a full compliment of electronic appliances: coffee machine, blenders, mixers, juicer, telephone & TV.
Villa Sounion has 5 oceanview bedrooms (including 2 master suites), accommodating 10 adults. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower, and generous wardrobe & luggage storage space. The 1st master king bedroom is on the main level adjacent to the pool, and features private screened balcony for enjoying the view, wide-screen TV (DirectTV linkage), VCR, a/c & ceiling fan. The bathroom is extremely spacious and has 2 separate sink areas, 2 WCs, double shower heads & large walk-in wardrobe. Sounion's 2nd master suite is above the carport overlooking the villa, and offers the greatest privacy & stunning views from the balcony. The suite offers a combined king bedroom & lounge area, with couch, easy chairs, writing desk, TV, VCR, a/c, ceiling fan & coffee machine. This suite offers private access for complete independence.
The 3rd suite (Peach Suite) is on the ground floor and features king bed & lounge area, with couch, coffee table & easy chair, TV, a/c & ceiling fan. The Peach Suite, with spacious ensuite bathroom with shower, overlooks the garden (partial water views) and offers direct access to the swimming dock & the sea. The 4th bedroom (Blue Bedroom) is also on the ground floor and features 2 queen beds, TV, VCR, a/c & ceiling fan. The Blue Bedroom, with spacious ensuite bathroom with shower, likewise overlooks the garden (partial water views) and offers direct access to the swimming dock & the sea.
Villa Sounion's 5th bedroom, the Glass Suite, is also on the ground floor and features queen bed, desk, TV, well-stocked bookshelf, a/c & ceiling fan. This bedroom has spacious ensuite bathroom with shower, and overlooks the garden (partial water views) and offers direct access to the swimming dock & the sea. Although smallest of the bedrooms, the Glass Suite is very comfortable & private.
Sounion's freshwater pool provides magnificent views of the turquoise Caribbean & coral reefs for which the Turks & Caicos are famous! Numerous decks & terraces surround the pool and allow one to enjoy the sun or relax in the shade. Steps lead to an oceanside swimming deck with access to the reef as well as to a small private beach (completely covered at high tide) and an unusual tidal cave. Sounion's setting is superb for watching sunrises or sunsets, and Grace Bay's world-renowned sandy beach, as well as restaurants, markets, boutiques, & watersport activities, are an approximate 8-minute drive from the villa.
NOTE: A/C is metered to discourage use with the doors & windows open, and not costly if used sensibly. Please check with your reservations agent.
