There were only 2 things that need to be improved, it was not as clean this year as it was last year and still no internet. We bring businessmen that need to stay connected with the office and are unable to do so. If we return to Edisto we will not be able to rent this house because of that. Other than that it's a beautiful place to stay. |

We Georgia B. from Lexington, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2011 We have, for several years, asked the owners to put new inexpensive mattresses on the bottom bunk beds. We are an all adult family and the bottom mattresses on the full size bunks feel like they are paper thin. I feel that owners should consider replacing mattresses on a regular basises as they probably wear out sooner when you rent. We do pay thousands of dollars for one week. We brought a blow up mattresses this year so we didn't have to sleep on the bottom bunks and feel we should not have to do that. We also think the maids that clean should scrub the glass shower doors. They were filmy. The tubs are not the cleanest either. When we came into the house the house had a bad smell. I don't know if this is what the maids used to clean or if it was something else. We used Lysol spray all over the house and that helped. We do like this house a whole lot and did reserve it again for next year. They have lots of stuff you need when a large family comes and the location is good. It is a pleasant house and we do enjoy ourselves. Since you are giving us an opportunity to tell you about it I decided to go ahead and tell you about how we all feel. We love Edisto and this is our 28th year as a family vacationing there. |

Stayed for 7 days in June, 2010 The only problem we had with the property is the mattresses on the two lower double bunk beds. They are extremely thin and very uncomfortable. We are all adults in this group and had to use those beds, which were probably set up to use for kids. I think even kids would be uncomfortable on those mattresses. Otherwise, it is a great house and we have really enjoyed staying there for the past two years. It is a beautiful house and I appreciate the owners sharing it with us.As for the cleaning, I checked with Attwood and they stated that the cleaning crew was short handed the week we came.
