This lovely 2 bedroom cottage on beautiful Little Kennisis Lake is the perfect summer getaway for the small family or a romantic couple(s). Pure country comfort. A bright, fresh pine finished interior with a skylight in the kitchen and an airy master bedroom. With the livingroom futon, Sleepy Hollow comfortably sleeps 6. Set in a peaceful cove known as Prestige Bay, our 'laid back' cottage has lots of room for relaxing and entertaining on the large wrap around deck with Muskoka chairs and a patio dining set, or at the very inviting lakeside deck and floating dock. Great view from every angle of this pristine, sparkling lake. The front room overlooks the lake and there's a walk-out from the master bedroom to the deck. The cottage comes complete with canoe, paddleboat, kayak, propane BBQ, fire pit, airtight fireplace, TV and DVD. Nature and wildlife abound in our wooded lakelands on a property fringed with lush, towering maples and hemlock. There's a level grassy play area at lake side for the kids. Shallow entry at the shore and a small sand beach by mid-summer. Kennisis is a premier lake in Ontario and boasts 8 miles of island-studded waters ideal for swimming, fishing and exploring. Just south of Algonquin Park and 2.5 hours NE of Toronto, we're deep in the woods but only 30 minutes from shopping, golf courses and white water kayaking. Kennisis Marina has a small store for last minute supplies and all your watercraft needs and you're a mere 15 minutes away from the 65,000 acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its groomed trails for mountain biking and hiking, 'A Walk in the Clouds' canopy tour and the world famous Wolf Observatory.
