Position: Morzine is an attractive Alpine village with masses of Savoyarde charm. Set amongst stunning mountain scenery it provides an excellent base for a host of outdoor activities: moutain biking, hiking and paragliding in the mountains and white water rafting, canoeing and fishing on the lively river Dranse. The ski lifts operate in July and August and open up the mountains for exploring. The chalet is ideally situated close to the centre of Morzine village which has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants as well as superb leisure facilities such as tennis and a riding centre. It is 35 miles from Geneva and 25 miles from Lake Geneva at Evian. This large first floor apartment looks out onto the open slopes at the bottom of the mountain, a ski run in winter. It has the free use of the swimming pool (11 x 5m, 26/06-03/09), sauna and tennis court at the Hotel Champs Fleuris, 30 metres away. The Morzine multipass is available for 1€ per person per day offering unlimited access to a wide selection of activities in the resort.
