More extensive shopping, restaurants and bars at Bedarieux  four miles away. The spa town of Lamalou-les-Bains with its casino, golf course, horse riding and wide range of restaurants is 10 miles away. Many vineyards in the area with beautiful villages and lovely walks in the Parc Naturel du Languedoc with Lac Salagou nearby for water sports. You can spend the sunshine hours around the pool (8x4.5m 19/03-28/10) in peace and tranquility or sit under the front porch amidst the jasmine and passion flowers admiring the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy al fresco diniing to the sound of the river below with a view of the lush green canopy of trees that line its banks, or relax on the lower terrace. Fishing  possible with a permit bought locally. Table tennis, boules area and barbecue.
