Pretty stone cottage between the Dordogne and Bordeaux  Position: About half a mile from Villeneuve de Duras, with its bakery and restaurant, just over five miles from Duras for shops of most descriptions and restaurants and about nine miles from Ste Foy La Grande for more extensive shopping. There is a Golf course and country club five miles away. About half an hour's drive from the vineyards of either St Emilion or Bergerac, but also good local wine from Duras. This very pretty stone cottage has been lovingly restored and is carefully maintained. It stands in a small enclosed garden with fenced terrace and swimming pool (8x4m, 02/04-28/10 - can be heated 50 Euros per week, bookable in advance), with Roman steps and pool light. Garden furniture, including sun loungers provided. Covered patio terrace and separate rear patio area with barbecue and herb garden off the kitchen. Please note that there may be some noise from the prune farm next door as they dry the prunes at the start of September.

Attractively decorated in cottage style, with several pieces of country antique furniture. Comfortable sitting/dining room with sofa and armchairs, fireplace with wood burning stove, Satellite TV with DVD, CD MP-3 combination system, round dining table and chairs. Kitchen/breakfast room with gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Also on the ground floor, a twin bedroom and bathroom with bath, shower and wc. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a twin and a double and a shower room with wc. Cot and high chair available. Bed linen and towels included.please note, only english channels available.
