Attractive restored country house with lovely views Position: Cenac, on the banks of the Dordogne, is about three miles away, a wide choice of shops, bars and restaurants, canoe trips down the Dordogne and tennis courts. Riding and golf at Vitrac, about a mile further on. The medieval town of Sarlat with its colourful market and more extensive shopping is nine miles away. In a quiet rural hamlet, the house stands in a large south-facing garden with terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. The swimming pool (10x6m 16/04-28/10), is set into the slope of the garden with views over the orchard below.

Wooden beams and exposed stone walls create a rustic atmosphere. Large dining room opening onto the terrace, open kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, small fridge and dishwasher and french windows to the terrace. Beyond this is a utility room with washing machine, dryer and big fridge. Shower room and separate wc. Upstairs, with  entrance from the lane outside as well as a staircase from the dining room, is the living room with sofa and armchairs around the decorative fireplace, satellite TV, and, off this, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a large bathroom with basin and bidet and separate wc. Stairs from the living room lead directly up to two interconnecting twin rooms under the eaves. The house is comfortable for a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children. Electricity payable locally.
