the good hoop retreat is located at 2000 feet above sea level in the mountains of westmoreland. about an hour and a half from montego bay and a little over an hour from negril, it's the perfect place for a relaxed vacation.the cottages are very private,each with there own distinct flavor.hand crafted with indigenous hardwood from local sources,they are more like works works of art.with three acres of lush gardens, wandering trails,and fruit orchards it becomes clear why so many people come back every year.about a half an hour away from the coastal highway,it is remotely located. modes of transportation include local taxes(except Sundays)chartered taxes(more expensive but without nine other people sharing the back seat)rental cars(not recommended because of those crazy taxi drivers racing down the mountain)...need more space to rite about the things to do @ g.h.r
