Pueblo del Mar #1 (first attempt was the Orchid at Corona del Ma A guest from Costa Mesa, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2012 "Luxury" Vacation Rentals was what is advertised. Looking at the pictures, I could easily see that the properties were not actually luxury, but we did expect them to be CLEAN. The first property had an awful funk smell (mildew, mold, etc)You could tell it was cleaned in the sense of cleaning the bathroom, but the overall feeling was dark, mildew, musty and there were dead bugs ground into the sofa cover. In addition, it was in Playa Langosta, which was described as super close, (which to some people, it might have been super close) However, we definitely would have had to drive to town every time we wanted to eat, surf, or walk around) RPM was as accommodating as possible, and found us two other properties for an additional fee per night. The one we ended up with was closer to town and it seemed as though it would be clean from first glance, but once moved in, and going to sleep that night, our bed smelled like body odor (pillows, linens, etc) In addition, the smaller bedroom had two single beds, one pushed up against the window, which had dead bugs all over that as well. Overall, this property was also rather dirty. . . |

Costa Rica Tamarindo holiday A guest from Calgary, Alberta does not recommend this property. Stayed for 12 days in December, 2011 The accommodation was adequate, the location fairly central. The soft furnishing's were poor. Towels were older and fraying on the edges. No power for 2 nights and a partical day. Pool was nice although we cleaned it ourselves. We did feel safe and followed the guidelines of locking everything up that was valuable. Property management was good. It was clean and serviced well. |

I found the staff booked my stay and assisted me with my question while there. They were very helpful and nice they were a wealth of information about things to do. They were easy to dal with and professional I am ready thinking about when I can go back again. A must do is a visit to Olga's Coffee house for great coffee. Her place is located just a 5 minute walk from Pueblo De Mar. Tamarindo beach is nice but i would suggest going to visit other beachs because they are also so beautiful. There is Flamingo Beach and Pirates Beach just to name a few. And are a short drive about 20 to 30 minutes away. |
