The location of the apartment is SUPER because we are located in the heart of the Barcelona centre just 5 minutes walk to Barcelona center square PLAZA CATALUNYA and LA RAMBLA. The metro stops CATALUNYA and UNIVERSITAT are just a few minutes walk. This area of the center is the main shopping and touristic area. (PG. DE GRACIA, BORNE, BARRIO GOTTICO, BEACH/PORTS) The beach/port area is a 20 min. walk The apartment SUPER BALMES II is a newly refurbished 5 bedroom apartment located in the heart of Barcelona just 5 minutes from La Rambla. This 120 m2 (1200 sq. ft.) fourth floor apartment has recently been completely refurbished and decorated. This apartment is great for groups up to 12 people maximum. Below are descriptions of each part of the apartment.
5 BEDROOMS: All rooms are very spacious and equipped for 2 people. (Note: For larger groups there are 2 extra beds available for a total of 12 person occupancy.) There are 3 rooms with DOUBLE BEDS and there are 2 rooms with SINGLE BEDS. All rooms are equipped with clothes closets, 1 table and 2 chairs, door locks, heat/fan, bed linens and towels. A nice feature that all rooms have is exterior balconies with window door. This is great for natural light and fresh air.
KITCHEN/DINNING AREA: The kitchen is medium size and new. There are 2 bar style tables and 8 tall chairs. (NOTE: using the table and chairs from the bedrooms will give sufficient area for 12 people dining) The kitchen is also equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave oven, toaster, electric water boiler, electric stove and cooking/eating utensils for 12 people. (NOTE: The kitchen is NOT equipped with a conventional oven.)
BATHROOMS: The bathrooms have specially designed for the comfort of groups. The facilities are all separate. This means one person only occupies one facility which in returns results in NO WAITING ;-). The bathroom area has 2 separate showers, 2 separate toilets and 2 separate sinks.
LIVING AREA: The living area is medium in size. This area has one sofa, and 2 chairs.
and if you like night life there are also many restaurants, pubs, and clubs all with in a 10 minute walk.
