Elegant, three-bedroom plus third level, skylit loft, detached home located in desirable "Danforth Village". This home offers an east facing sunroom entrance, spacious, elegant living room with wood burning marble fireplace, a formal dining room with beamed ceiling and french door to a west facing sitting/sunroom.

The home offers gorgeous hardwood floors throughout and natural wood trim. The kitchen is an entertainer's delight with solid maple cabinetry, granite counters, and all new appliances including built-in dishwasher.
Steps to all amenities including subway, shops, cafes, restaurants, cinemas and parks. Toronto's film studios are approximately two kilometers away. The basement unit is not included as part of the rental.

This house is beautifully furnished and offers onsite parking. The backyard faces west and has two cedar decks. The french doors of the main level rear sunroom lead to a private deck, with barbeque and summer furniture. This deck is built around a cherry tree. The second level deck is 20 feet wide by 9 feet deep. This deck has summer furniture and a hammock for your relaxation.

Danforth Village, sometimes referred to as “Greek Town” is a vibrant community which neighbors Broadview/Danforth to the West and Greenwood/Danforth to the East. To the West, in the Playter Estates area, is the Carrot Common with its’ many fine cafes and shops. A little further East is the choice selection of Greek restaurants, tavernas, boutiques and speciality shops. One block south of the Danforth is Withrow Park, bordering Logan Ave. to Carlaw Ave. It is a haven for relaxation, walking, skating, running and socializing with the many dog owners. Whatever your choice of pastime, whether it be enjoying a coffee break at an ouside café, browsing the many shops, dining on the Danforth, relaxing in one of the several parks, there is something for every member of the family in this trendy, convenient community on the Danforth Subway line.

07/21/09 - We had a wonderful stay at this property. The
house was extremely well equipped for our young
family for both sleeping accommodations as well as
meal prep. The location was ideal with the subway
system walking distance away and easy access to
groceries/restaurants. We also appreciated the on
site parking and nearby playground. We would
definitely look into staying again on our next trip to
Toronto.

I stayed recentaly at this very nice house in a lovely, leafy part of down town Toronto and found the house very comfortable, close to all amenities. We were seven and there was lots of room for all of us. The owner, Lissa, was most helpful. I shall definately try to rent this house again when I return to Toronto again.

We loved staying at your property in Gillard Way. The accommodation was very comfortable and easily fitted in eight people - plenty of linen, towels and loads of hot water.

All the kitchen appliances were easy to use and the crockery was plentiful.
We didn't use the air con but found the house cool and nice with windows open. Steve and I used the top attic room and switched on the fan each night. The shower in the small bathroom is amazing. We wish ours at home was like it.

We rented this house for a week while in Toronto for our a family wedding, it was perfect for our needs. The house is very spacious, posh decor and well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen wares, etc. The property is within a short walking distance from cafes, restaurants, bars, grocery stores and the subway. It takes about 10 minutes to access the heart of Toronto. Lissa's hospitality was outstanding and made us feel at home. We would rent this house again without a doubt.

We travelled to Toronto in May from the UK and stayed at a fantastic place. The house was very spacious, elegantly decorated and in a perfect location. The house was well provisioned which made our stay more enjoyable. It was within easy walking distance of all amenities and attractions. The subway station was less than a 5 minutes walk away and in 10 minutes can take you to the heart of downtown Toronto. We would definitely love to come back to stay when we return to Toronto and we would HIGHLY recommend this property.
