Vacation Home Rental Description:
Rockaway Beach - Pet free, hypoallergenic home. This newly custom built home features three plus bedrooms and four full bathrooms, fabulous for family gatherings. Set in a wooded area you get the luxury of feeling like you are in the woods, yet still at the ocean. The living room features a large sectional and a wonderful gas fireplace with a wall mounted flat screen TV (with Satellite), great for watching those late night movies. The large professional style kitchen has stainless steel appliances, bar area with a wine cooler and a gas cook top stove, great for the cooks in the family. The master bedroom has a Queen bed and its own private bathroom with a two-person Jacuzzi tub and large shower. The middle level feature a reading corner with a balcony that overlooks the living room and hide-a-bed. There are two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and satellite TV and a second bedroom with two Twin beds, a flat screen TV/DVD, games and a kids table for puzzles and games. The upper level is a large reading room that can also double as a fourth bedroom with a leather sofa sleeper, gas fireplace and mini fridge. The lower deck wraps around half the house and leads to the backyard that has a picnic table and gas BBQ, great for those outdoor barbeques and gatherings. The beach is just a quick five-minute walk through a beautiful nature trail. Bring the family and have a vacation you will always remember. Now offers free WIFI!!

Gorgeous Home Ed S. from Beaverton, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2013 Lots of amenities, everything you need to cook a meal the gourmet kitchen and very comfortable beds. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the beach via a wooded path. Our only issue was the flat screen TV receiver was not working. Other than that, a wonderful stay in a gorgeous home. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2012 We used this facility for a group of 12 of us to have a business retreat. 8 of us slept comfortably in the home, but we could have had more. It is an easy 2 minute walk to the beach and the home is lovely! Great kitchen/central room and the beds were comfortable. We brought in most of our food for the weekend, but there were restaurants within a short drive from the home too. |

Everything was comfy, clean and loads of room to move about. Access to the beach was a snap, the little wooden bridge down to the beach was scary for our 3 year old granddaughter but one time down and a piece of cake. We would love to rent it again next year! Great stay, disappointing end A guest from Fairview, OR does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 Our rental was lovely and we enjoyed our stay until the morning we were preparing to leave and stripped the sheets (as directed) where my my adult daughter was sleeping and discovered that at the bottom of the sheets where she had slept for 2 nights was dried, old feces ( a lot). It was absolutely disgusting. We drove to Sunset Rentals and notified the personnel immediately and they said the management would call us on Monday. It is Tuesday and we have not heard anything from Sunset Rentals which is very disappointing as prior to this incident we had found the staff and the rental home outstanding. I hope to hear something today. |

Wonderful Stay at Starfish Manor Vinesh L. from Beaverton, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2010 The Starfish Manor was an excellent house for my family. It had all the amenities needed to make our stay pleasurable. The close proximity to the beach was a plus! The 4 full bathrooms was a plus as well. The beach was very clean and not crowded at all. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great, affordable vacation getaway. |

We ate out a few times but with our deep sea fishing catch we found that the kitchen & grill was very nice. We loved how laid back the community seemed to be. It was especially nice that we didn't have easyaccess to Internet or cell phone...a true vacation in our eyes. Would consider this area of the country again for our family vacations. |

Many times you see pictures on the web but when you arrive its not all it was cracked up to be BUT that was not the case with this home! We arrived and immediately were thrilled w/this place. Everything was top of the line, it was extremely clean and as for the neighborhood, in a great spot. My only downer is that it was so far away from Cannon Beach and Seaside (45min-to 1 hour south). We are out of towners and so weren't aware of the distance - if you are ok with driving than this place is great! Other than that, everything was wonderful! Thanks so much! |

Stayed for 4 days in November, 2009 Arriving at what was to have been our rental, I sank into despair and tears. It was awful. Working with Ocean Breeze, they very quickly made a change up which is what got us to Star Fish Manor and what a dream come true our vacation ended up being. Star Fish Manor is obviously a much beloved home away from home for the owners who have put great thought into everything from the simple but elegant hardwood floors (so easy to sweep at the beach), to energy efficient and amazing appliances to work with (gas stove/oven for gourmet cooking, french door frig, front loading washer, etc), to linens and towels that really made one feel cared for. The kitchen could use a bit more stocking with things like cookie pans and cutting boards but other than that, a dream kitchen. All in all, I guess its obvious, we truly loved having the privilege of resting for a few days of bliss at Star Fish Manor. |
